The momentum of Volibear’s attack left little room to make adjustment. Even when Kha’Zix vanished before his eyes, he could not stop, especially as his paw collided hard against something. The Ursine let his punch continued, as the snow started to draw lines in the direction. The voidreaver reappeared quickly enough to catch him slightly off-guard with the spike. Instead of attempting to dodge it, Volibear brought his arms in front of his chest, using his gauntlets to protect his face as the spike exploded on his chest plate. The Ursine felt the impact like a bullet hitting a Kevlar vest. The most of spines were deflected away from his face by his gauntlets, but some did manage the scratched some places on his left arm that wasn’t covered by armor. He felt a small bit of blood tickle along his shoulder, and the nicking pain was ignorable.
Moving his arms to his side, Volibear glared at Kha’Zix. The bear’s hearing returned enough to hear further footsteps approaching them. The wind was not favoring on telling him whether they were friends or foe. Regardless, the Ursine had no fear for either. Still feeling the effects from the spike, which will wear off soon enough, he gesturing a taunt at Kha’Zix, ready to continue this fight.
Volibear's Status: A little scratched up, but otherwise. Fine. Mana Status: Lightly drained. Ultimate: Unavailable.

The ground beneath and around the front lines began to shake violently. Even from other nearby areas it could be felt as the earth rocked. It seemed as though something big was coming this way.
“Accusation that silences and deafens.” “Deeds that leave lasting wounds and stain the soul.”
The blow to Shyvana’s face came as a surprise, the torrent of fire that poured from her open maw falling harmlessly to the snow-covered battlefield. The Void Behemoth had made a terrible mistake, however, in ripping his scythe grip from her shoulders. A thick, ichorous blood began to spread the wounds, deepening the shade of her punctured crimson armor. Yet the wounds she sustained were the last thing on the half-dragon’s mind. Her golden eyes blazed with hatred and defiance. This pathetic creature dared to think itself equal to the might of a dragon? Dared to deflect my attacks?
With a roar of fury, she rolled with the momentum of the punch, raking the talons of her right wing deep through the flame-scorched flesh of his belly. In her staggered position, the Terror’s kick pushed Shyvana further off-balance, rushing past him to keep her footing. Maintaining her motion, she swung her tail viciously toward the Void beast’s distracted face, hoping to catch him off guard as his focus shifted toward Kayle’s might. “I will not be ignored!”
Cho'Gath took the blow with the tail easily and quickly turned, roaring at Shyvana. He glanced at the distant mountain, he needed to get there. These fools were only wasting his time now, especially with the arrival of the summoners.
He would run for it.
Instead of counterattacking with claws he chanted a few words and all sound dispeared for a moment with a loud scree, a portal opening right in front of her. Small creatures she could crush easily poured out, jumping all over shyvana and trying to slice open her scales. A few started to cut the wounds by Cho'Gath deeper.
On the front lines the void army would began to push through where champions were not present, cutting down the soldiers with ease and slamming on the villages barricades, some climbing over and running rampant inside the village. The screams of those being mauled filled the air over the cackles of the void creatures.
Cho'Gath gained fleet of foot and literally charged, running for the largest mountain in the Freljord. He would scale it easily if uncontested and they defenders could just believe he was retreating....but he had a much more...sinister intent.

(( A repost from the Base Camp to let you folks know what's going on. Full post is in the Base Camp Thread, but this is the stuff important to you void folks. ))
Miles away from the Base Camp, far from the edges of the fight, the portals of the Void were pumping out endless streams of warriors, all bent on devouring and conquering this land for themselves. However, above them, the clouds began to churn, faster and fast, blue, yellow, and white arcs of power arcing through the sky, until something unexpected pulsed into being. They were runic circles, floating high above the ground. For the first time since the banning of such things by the League, Rune Magic was being brought to the field of battle, all to put a stop to their invasion...
The circles spun faster and faster, before pulsing with a surge of light and power, lighting bolts crashing down, raining from the heavens to strike the portals, surrounding them with a nigh-impenetrable reversed barrier of golden light. Thunder rolled across the hills as the arcs paused and the circles faded from the sky, appearing on the ground below the portals. The Void had been cut off from their reinforcements completely. New portals would be capped by the same barriers, completely preventing them from reaching the front lines or supporting their allies. All at once, the infinite forces of the Void were no longer infinite...
However, what had transpired here was just the beginning of what was to come...

A taunt? Does this bear not know what he his facing? Not even an Ursa his higher than the voidreaver. Though the delay did help him assess the situation.
Human's had broken through a wave behind him, their metal devices raised against him. A sly smile crept on his face as he watched them preparing to shoot, when the summoner's magic hit.
While he didn't care for the small metal pellets that threatened him the rune magic was a serious threat. The swarm are nothing without their numbers.
"You will live this time. Bear."
With that, he disappeared for a third time. It is always a shame to give up on a hunt especially when their blood has entered the air. But these summoners need dealing with.
The force of the roar literally blew Shyvana from feet in her already unbalanced position. The din of battle disappeared as she scrambled to place head over claws. Utterly disoriented, she swung her head up to find herself face to face with a portal to the Void. She fought tooth and nail as the multitude poured out on top of her, their scythed limbs tearing through armor, skin and flesh alike. Just as quickly as it had opened the portal snapped shut, giving the Half-Dragon a clear view of fleeing Behemoth. Enranged, she lurched forward, only to feel the tiny voidlings work their way farther into the softer flesh of her joints.
Finally, the sounds of battle began to return through the ringing of her ears. With a roar that rivaled the Terror’s own, a tornado of flames erupted around Shyvana’s draconic body, incinerating away the pest-like voidlings. “COWARD!” The taunt was hardly decipherable through the inhuman bellow of the dragon. Despite her frustration, Shyvana was bleeding heavily, and her time was running short. Empowered by the spirit of the flame, she sprinted in the opposite direction of the Terror, all four claws gouging steaming puddles into the snow as she bowled over any who dared stand in her way. In her wake, the ice melted to an even sheen, reflecting the unearthly runes that began to form in the sky.
Kayle would hear a quiet whisper float into her mind, sounding barely more than a breeze, it echoes around in her mind. One voice sounding to be speaking different words at multiple times, she would recognize the voice as it grew slightly louder, her sisters, a spell that only Kayle would hear. It was from a dark path of magic that only one being from their world knew, Black Soul Magic.
Kayle's armour would begin giving off a faint dark purple glow as The Fallen Angel began to siphon the Voidling soul's energy into the incantation. The whispers were now growing far more rapid and loud, nearly deafening. All of a sudden the whispers stop and the armours dark purple tainted glow would fade away... Morgana's voice fill her mind once more, though sounding far more tired than it had during the chanting. The spell itself as quick, yet Morgana's voice was as though the spell had drained a lot from her.
“Pitiful Coward!” Volibear roared as the voidreaver departed. Ursine hated cowards more than they hated weaklings. He was about to run in pursuit, but suddenly made lurched back to avoid the flames that burst from the half-dragon. He landed backwards on all fours. Growing softly, he took a moment to look at the sky. The summoners have arrived; He confirmed silently in his thoughts. Volibear stood up and shouted a warning to Shyvana and Kayle, and turned to make his way back to the cluster of the front-lines. He had his Ursine to command, and Kha’Zhx was probably up to something as well. However, something was very wrong…He could sense it, and hardly doubt his senses as his muzzle turned to Kayle instinctively.
As the Terror of the Void brutally tore his way through the frontlines towards the mountains behind the village, Kayle tore her way through the air in pursuit. Just an instance later, however, the whispering of black magics filled the Judicator's mind, and the distance between her and Cho'Gath rapidly grew apart as she reeled backwards, having been caught unaware.
In the heat of the situation, by the time she realized what had happened, it was too late for her to take precautions - her armor regained the weight given for it's density, the enchantment that reduced it's weight to allow her flight has been undone - and as gravity took effect, she tumbled down to the ground.
With a furious wail...
"Morgana--!"
...A loud clank and a subtler crack, Kayle fell onto the rocky ground, the snow covering it hadn't been thick enough to dampen the force of the impact. She thrashed about, desperately attempting to get back on her feet because of the hostile void creatures surrounding her. Only after the feathers of her wings, scattered in the air from the commotion, settled down on the blood-covered snow, she were able to push herself up to her knees.
Her blood, a distinct bright crimson on the snow amongst the sickening purple of the void's, seeped through the cracks of her armor's chestplate. She coughed and panted underneath her helmet, fruitlessly forcing herself to stand up, her strength having been sapped away by the curse. As she stayed prone, the ravenous voidlings leapt at her by the dozens...

Volibear was already rushing on all fours towards the Judicator, during her unscheduled decent. The tremor did little to stop him, but slow him for a second before he went full speed. His massive body bulldozed the one unfortunate voiding, sending it flying and landing with a sicken crunch against the rock. Lightning flashed brightly from his gauntlet as he struck hard against the first voiding in the dog pile. A chain of lightning went from one voiding to the other with such energy that their flesh broiled from inside their carapaces. It didn’t seem to deter them as much as before, as the festering landscape started get closer and increase their ravenous behavior. The aura did start to poke at his mind and his will…but he has no fear of death to humor the voices. The voidings retaliated, offended by this interloper of their frenzy and struck at him. A few caught him in his right leg, causing a shallow cut, but this would not phase him. There was a heavy dent in his chest armor that, with little doubt, cut him on his side.
Finally, Kayle’s form came to view as the Ursine struck away another voiding. He gathered her up, not saying a word. No words were needed to be spoken, though it might have been better for her to cover her ears. To prove this, he roared with full power of his might….causing the surrounding voiding to scatter away or incinerate from the deafening and shocking waves. He used this moment to run, with Kayle’s body cradle in his arms, away from the mountain and the growing hazardous landscape.
As they got though the thick of the front lines, something irk in the back of his mind, urging him to look to his right. A bloodied black fur body had lain on the snow. Sunek…Some of his other Ursine had fallen as well, during the wake of Cho’gath ritual. The village chieftain and shaman was saddened by this. He knew he went against the triumvirate by aiding in this battle. The Ursine that accompanied him had all volunteered to protect Freijord…while the Triumvirate cuddled behind their home near the sacred mountain and do nothing. There was a discontentment that irked his mind more than the pursuing voidings, and almost more than the friend he just lost.
Though he received some blessing of the storm, he could not change the circumstances, at least not yet. Not while the Triumvirate remained with the illusion that peace will remain in Freijord. There was a considering decision bloom within the priorities on his mind. However, his first priority….
“Forgive me if I have to throw you on my shoulder…these things never seem know when to quit.” Volibear commented, as he roared again to scatter the voiding away. “And for my roar…” He continued to carry Kayle deep into the back of the front-lines, hopefully to the medics camp. A few of the surviving Ursine inched closer in their fighting to give him some cover. It gave him a moment to realize the golden aura around the two.
Volibear's Status: Lightly injured. Somewhat impacted cut from inside in his armor.. Mana Status: Half-drained. Ultimate: Used. . Volibear’s Guard: 8 dead….17 remaining. Prone to get worse.
Moving: ...Move to the Front-lines,( unless Kayle has a protest.)
