Brand surveyed the puny human floundering about in front of him, panting and wheezing as humans tend to do when they've used up the minuscule amount of stamina they possess.
Do you need something, mortal?
He flexed one of his claws. It would be easy. Like snapping a toothpick. But a fire elemental always stands by his word.
He was under the command of Jericho Swain.
And those commands were not to engage in combat until the circumstances were dire; this was not a dire circumstance, Merely an annoying one.
Brand contented himself with glaring at the human filth before him, boring metaphorical holes into the reporter's face with his white-hot stare.
Sky would trail with the group - not with any particular care for any of the company Zed was hosting for. When the interruption burst through, she turned slightly with ethereal violet eyes lingering on the reporter. A half-smirk appeared, before it vanished under the sudden motion of one of the men from Noxus. A scowl set on her features as she casually walked over and tried to 'accidentally' bump into Tsukino to knock him away from the reporter.
Her hands went on her hips as she leaned down towards the intruder, glaring, "The fuck is your issue?" She questioned, giving Melvin a dirty look. "You ought to be glad these Noxians didn't rip out your entrails and hang you with them for interrupting their 'business'."

White Wolf had remained closer to the back of the group somewhat hidden for the majority of their arrival. Now in the temple she had taken up a spot close to the door, out of sight from anyone entering and ready to reveal herself upon a moments notice. Right now it was her duty to protect the grand general, though not her strong suit she had little choice but to follow her orders until further notice.
The Reporters arrival annoyed her but she did not let her vigilant eyes wander as his arrival could pose a threat or could have been a distraction. Keeping Swain safe was one thing but keeping reporters out of a temple without using violence was another thing that could breach security.

Tsukino glanced at Sky when she bumped him and he swiftly did it back, knocking her a bit further away from him. Zed's apprentice better not be intentionally getting in the way...unless she wanted a fight. He admitted, he would not be against such a challenge.
" I would not be so sure that the General will be so..merciful. I also suggest that you do not get in my way again." He smirked, though, this reporter would not put up an interesting battle if he was marked to be finished.

A gnarled hand waved in the reporter's direction. Surely he was terrified, the fearsome forms of those associated with Swain's own entourage and Zed's order bearing down upon him. "Let him up," came the Grand General's imperious command. "If the world wishes to look upon this alliance, let them do so."
He took a few more crooked steps after Zed before adding to the scuffling ninjas. "And control yourselves." His growl, though quiet, echoed through the temple, an ominous warning to everyone present that the proceedings were not to be disturbed.

Tsukino stepped away from the reporter and sheathed his sword, moving to take a position next to white wolf. He flashed a superior look at sky, before looking back at the man.
"So be it, Grand General." He commented, waiting for everyone else to enter the temple.

Sky felt herself get bumped forcing her to stagger to the side before she'd turn to glare at Tsukino. A light scowl rested on her features, ready to fight back before Swain spoke. She rolled her eyes blatantly at the 'old bird' before folding her arms.
At Tsukino's superior glance, she'd push the tip of her nose up and stuck her tongue out at him "Nyah." Before huffing, and turning to follow Zed quietly. She was oddly enjoying this. Who would have thought she'd ever enjoy picking on a Noxian?
Oh wait.. EVERYONE.
Sky seemed unconcerned, even grinning a bit as she glanced over her shoulder. The hood concealing her visage somewhat.

Maria approached silently, beckoning her minions away from Zed's apprentice. She knew the story behind the girl; a capable fighter in her own right.
Tsukino; if you wish to challenge the girl to a duel do not do it here.
There is a time and a place for sparring and this is not it.
She turned to Sky, the glowing veins scattered across her face glowing in the dark.
You've got guts, girl. I like that. But now is neither the time nor place to exercise them.
There is no reason to throw away this chance at an alliance over your hatred of authority.
Now if you would stand down, we could get the diplomacy with your master underway.
Tsukino, stand to post. The girl is not a threat.
Wolf, stand by. We are vulnerable in our current position; I need all access routes blocked; if a hostile comes in or out, I want them dead, and I want it to be silent.
She gave a gesture for them to return to their posts, before turning to leave.

Wolf stood a little straighter, there was no need to return to a place that she was already standing at. The adjustment let the lighting reveal a little of her Ionian features as she continued to scan the room for potential threats.
Minoryu turned his back to the Noxians and whispered to Zed.
"She will only make things worse. Why does she still breathe? Do you wish for me to end her or remove her, Sensei?"
His hand drifted to the chained sickle on his belt. She was shaming them all, and making the order seem weak. They could let the Noxians kill her, but that did not seem to be the message they wanted to send to the Grand General.

Zed continued to walk in front of the group, almost oblivious to his apprentice's foolishness. He sighed as Minoryu spoke to him, he respected this man's opinion but sometimes he didn't see the bigger picture, "Leave her be for now." He ordered. However sometimes Zed did wonder why he kept her around, her arrogance was almost too much sometimes.
Before long the group reached the top of the hill path and the steps to the temple. Zed turned to his guests and spoke out to the golem of flames, "May I ask that your fiery friend here please avoid burning anything, thank you." He turned again and opened the large doors wide.
Inside it was dark, very few candles lit the room and those that did cast huge shadows. A round table stood in the middle of the large room, five chairs stood around it. A single candle lay atop the center of the table, giving enough light to do any necessary paperwork. There was a slight chill in the room, and the shadows seemed to move of their own accord. Dancing with the flames.
Zed marched forward to the table, pulling a single chair out, "For our lovely lady." He offered in a smooth tone. As he waited for everyone to take their seats he spoke, "Drinks anyone?" he asked his guests. Zed had been learning how to be a proper host, he had always been a bit rugged but it was nothing he couldn't change.
Shadow people follow him everywhere he goes. Looking over his shoulder, the paranoia flows.

The old man with the dingy sunglasses had been knocked down, ridiculed, let go, but mostly ridiculed some more, and the rest of the troupe had rolled along, but he remained unaffected! Or rather, the initial blow and death threat had sort of knocked him out of it. He had simply sort of been overwhelmed, and kept quiet.
He snapped out of it as Zed spoke up. He was here on official business, invited by the Order of Shadows, after all! ...but, maybe he should have brought it up beforehand. Or now, considering he never said a thing to anyone.
As the party entered the temple, he scanned the area, his cameraman senses trying to figure out how to get the best shots of the event, made especially hard due to the horrible lighting scheme of this place...
"I'll take a drink, actually. Parched from all that running from earlier." Was all he said, still forgetting to introduce himself. As he attempted to heed Zed's hospitality, the orb set itself in a position nearby, and with a quick whirr it hummed to life again.
Now a moment of your time, please! As silly as this man may be, he is the first of heralds of the new technology that the VNN champions. A bit of scope must be made: The new viewscreens have sold well, all over Runeterra, from Piltover to Zaun, to Demacia to Noxus, the common men and women have gathered and heard of the first official broadcast from the VNN, and are all gathered to watch what has been promised to be a historic event!
We're working on a Global scale here. Everyone is able to see your actions at the moment, and opinions can sway at the slightest error.
Sadly, Melvin hasn't really said much on this. Back to your regularly scheduled Dark Meeting!

Maria's countenance softened as the ninja master offered her a seat. She looked up at him, several of the rings around the pupil of her eyes spun slightly. She smiled, before looking out across the table.
Thank you, Master of Shadows.
She turned slightly, and gave the reporter a small smile and a nod of her head; a gesture of kindness for the public eye.
Minoryu silently found his normal corner of the room behind Zed and leaned against the wall, almost vanishing into the darkness completely. He preferred to stand back and listen. Stand back and find your opening to advance or to close the open wounds. Stand back and take stock.
Stand back and find the trap.
Was there a trap here? Was there something to be wary of? These were Noxians. The Kinkou had large files on Noxian tactics and schemes for power grabs. They appeared to benefit a great deal from this alliance. A foothold in Ionia. What they had always wanted. Minoryu figured he would watch for where Noxus planned on throwing the Order to the wolves. Better to be wary than to trust anything about your friend or foe.

Darius remained quiet, never speaking from behind that Grand General. The opportunity hat had been presented to them held a great deal of strategic value in terms of location and potential. The High Command was excited; none were unwanting to turn down Zed’s offer. Darius had of course agreed to be there. Most surprising of those present was Brand, despite Darius’ own resentment towards The Burning Vengeance and his recent actions, he was brought out as a show of force. The alliance would be televised and would make waves. In his silence he sized up each of those present that he had not previously met with a glance of his eyes. He believed he had little to be concerned about currently.
Once within the temple he silently took a seat and declined his offer of drinks with a gesture of his hand. Zed’s ability to host was, unexpected. Darius had expected something a bit more arrogant, something akin to that of Syndra. His surprise wouldn’t be known however, he hid it well enough. For now it seemed General Blackwind would do the speaking and that Darius would once again play the role of the “laconic brute” that stayed ever near the Grand General’s side.
