He replied with a rattling chuckle as he started to pace, his robes making it seem as if he were floating across the cracked stone floor. "You are a Seraphim of Death. As such, you shall aid me in the release of souls who have gone on for too long in life - or unlife -, and obey Death's will. I would take you to meet your patron...But your soul still remains in your body, and few souls ever leave Death's Door once they have entered."
He stopped pacing and turned to face Ryuki. "You have much to learn, and little time in which you must learn it. Death is not truly as it seems, and you are in the company of its herald. I hope you are, indeed, prepared for the task ahead."
