Deep in the woods of Ionia, lies the elegant and glamorous champion, Ahri the nine-tailed fox. Ahri felt herself a bit lonely recently, the old hunting routine for human souls became old and dull, but that doesn't mean she's giving it up! Because it's her only way to attain her full human form. Although, she wanted to meet new people, build connections with the outside world and create new bonds with different champions.
While skipping around, Ahri decided to take a break, just to enjoy the beautiful day that covered the woods.

Birds flew out of the treetops as a rushing wind picked up instantly in the Nine-tailed Fox's domain. In it's wake, came the form of a woman balanced upon a dark orb not dissimilar to that that the fox herself played with from time to time. Two other orbs circled the woman as she lowered herself below the treeline.
Syndra stepped down off of her orb which blinked out of existence a moment later. Her feet hovered above the grass for just a moment before she lowered herself down to stand upon the forests floor. The sorceress's violet eyes moved side to side a she scanned the area before a hint of a grin spread across her lips. She could feel Ahri's nearby presence, but would not disturb the fox unless she was disturbed first.

Twisted Fate had wandered into the woods. This was his first time in Ionia, for he had never had a reason to leave the mainland. Of course Destiny had changed that by providing him a ticket he won off some sucker and a reason. He needed to get his mind off of Evelynn. Granted, he figured by distracting himself with women would work....that failed....horribly. However, now he was Ionia. A place where he discovered the lost can discover something to help them. It may not be what they expected, but the Cardmaster kind of hoped that such a tale was true.
The reason for this walk into the wood was simple. He did not exactly trust cities he did not have a feel for, and considering how a few guards at the docks had given him an angry looks...he figured his reputation precceded him. He would have to test the guard's dilliegence later by making an appearnce within a few taverns. Of course he would not stay in those taverns because if the guards were dilligent they would search high and low for Twisted Fate in the areas where there were sightings of him.
The Cardmaster also had to get a layout of the city in order to plan escape routes and such. However, there would be time for such matters later. For now he searched the woods seeking what he hoped Ionia would help him discover...or a place to camp out for the night. Whichever came first, but Twisted Fate was unaware that Destiny may have planned a meeting with not one but two champions.

Ahri was completely unaware of the presence of both Champions. She kept skipping around the trees and grasses, wandering freely in the green woods that are dear to her. It was basically her home, where she was born, and raised.
Suddenly, she felt a presence somewhere, surrounding her. Her ears flicked as she heard someones's feet stepping over the grass, drawing closer and closer to her as the noise intensified. She peaked her head from behind the tree and tried to scan her surroundings, she was very cautious.

Syndra's dark orbs were floating about the area their mistress rested. And suddenly, one went still and shot in a direction Syndra did not command it to.
The orb flew right underneath Ahri's talks and between her legs, swooping around and stopping just before the nine-tailed fox. As the orb hovered there, Syndra peered into another, as she stared back at the fox through the first.
"Well, well. If it isn't the pretty little fox..." Her voice emanated from the dark orb as an image of herself appeared upon the surface.

Twisted Fate still wandered the forests trying to find a clearing of some sort that he could camp out in. While he could sleep in a tree if all else failed, but it tended not to be the most comfortable thing to sleep on. It was then he heard a something fly by nearby, and saw a black orb come to a stop not too far away. He had seen the orb before, it belonged to someone he occasionally fought on the Fields of Justice. ...Syn....Syndra! That was it.
Twisted Fate did not really spend much time with Ionian champions and could recall only the important or beautiful ones, nor has he had a real discussion with any of them. Irelia disliked him because of her position, Shen was stoic and his fellow ninjas always seemed to be busy. Karma did not interest him. It seems that now would be the proper time to learn more about Syndra, and as he approached the orb cautiously he saw Syndra through the orb and say, "Pretty little fox."
That must mean Ahri is behind the tree the orb was floating behind. It seems Destiny had done him a favor. Perhaps they could help him find what he sought....or maybe one of them was what he sought? Who knows, besides Destiny that is. Even if they couldn’t help him, he was bound to learn something from these two. Unless they were both exiles to civilization, he doubted Ahri was, but Syndra most likely kept in her little castle. The Cardmaster approached the floating orb and Ahri, "Howdy ladies." Twisted Fate said as he tipped his hat, "Now what are the chances that three league champions are ta' meet in these here woods?"

Ahri suddenly jumped back at the sight of the dark purple orb, gently poking it with the tip of her tail just to see what it was until she saw Syndra's face. At that very moment, her face looked stern, frowning as she crossed her arms.
Even though she didn't know her that well, she could tell that this woman isn't a friendly person, and she could tell that by her gaze when she stared back at her. But Ahri prefered to hide her disgust towards Syndra and offered her a joyful yet hypocrite smile
"Hello there Dark Sovereign! What brings you here into the woods?"
Before she could get any reply, she heard a very familiar voice, coming out from behind the trees and turned around in a glamorous way, wrapping her soft fuzzy tails around its silhouette, forming a sort of elegant dress. She softly gazed at the cardmaster, blinking a few times before waving to him happily.
"What a surprise to see you here my dear Fate!"
Her gaze remained locked on the man as she tilted her head and giggled softly, covering her mouth with one of her tails.

Twisted Fate smiled as watched Ahri put on her show for him. Granted it did make her look better, though the Cardmaster was not quite sure how that was possible. However, he smiled back at her, "Likewise Ahri, Ah can't really speak fer' you, but Ah'm lookin' fer' a place ta' camp out fer' the night. After all the guard round' here don't even trust me when its mah first time even here." He said as he shrugged. "However, Ah suppose Ah can wait a while till Ah settle down. Unless of course ya' have a suggestion fer' a place."
Twisted Fate had only a map and his natural sense of direction in order find his way. Granted, he did not have Ezreal's skill, but he was no fool when it came to path-finding.

"Oh no, please, do make yourself at home. Even though I live here, anyone is welcome! This land belongs to anyone, but if you don't really like to sleep under nature's embrace, maybe you should go to Ionia? They have a couple of good places"
Ahri leaned against the tree, resting her back against the tree's bark as she delicately pulled down a random flower from the colorful tree's branch with one of her tails and held it in her hand. It was as white as her tails and would camouflage itself if she placed it on one of them.
She moved it closer to her nose and enjoyed the sweet scent which emanated from the elegant flower, drawing her senses as her body relaxed and gazed up at Twisted Fate charmingly, blinking a few times her docile 'honey' coloured eyes.

The sounds of wood bending was heard further off in the distance, as a man was traversing across the Ionian woods for his next mission. The contact lived further ahead and he decided to go through the woods for a quicker route.
He leaped from branch to branch and came to a halt. He looked around for a moment to get his bearings. He looked up at the sun, knowing that he's got some time before the sun falls and the moon rises. He began to continue moving forward when he heard something... Voices. He immediately stood straight up against the tree, and cloaked. Slowly, he began to traverse from tree to tree, as he stretched out to grab branches and move onto the next. It took a bit but he finally managed to get to the source of sound. Champions? This is... Interesting... He leaned up against the wall to try and be undetected as much as possible.

The woods of Ionia. There have been times in his life where he had wandered into it. However, since the time he had to guard the temple, he's not ventured into the woods for some time. Since he felt like leaving Ionia to find some peace from the faces of pity people were giving him, he decided to walk into the Ionian woods. With light steps, Varus' dark form passed by the trees and the grass that were within that forest.
When he finally was starting to appreciate the quiet surrounding him, voices from a distance drew his attention. Some of them did not sound like they were from Ionia. As a precaution, the large bow of corruption emerged from his hand as he gripped it securely. Its sinister form seemed as if it glared at him, but he had already accepted its power. Stalking through the brush, he came across three figures. They were all champions of the league that he has seen once or twice. However, they were not all too familiar to him.
Drawing his bow, a large arrow materialized from it as he emerged from the brush and then spoke out.
"So, what business do you have with Ionia, Cardmaster?" he said in his harsh and distorted voice.

"Varus?!"
Exclaimed Ahri as she saw Varus emerging suddenly from the grassy brush, with his menacing arrow pointing out at Twisted Fate. She knew that he is able to hurt him and that the corruption could be stronger than his will, which is not good at all. She moved up towards the Cardmaster and stood in-between both men, remaining there as an obstacle to avoid having one of them getting hurt.
"Varus, no need to act up like this, Twisted Fate is a good friend..."
The wind was blowing through the thick forest, adding a background melody of leaves getting torn apart from their home branches and the whistles of the wind moving around the champions that were standing there, in a rather odd meeting if we can speak of it that way. Ahri's ears flicked a bit before she tilted her head and gazed charmingly at Varus.
"Besides, with the strength of the wind, your arrow will neither reach me or Fate. But tell me, what brings you here?"
The trees of Ionia were the perfect hunting ground for the Pridestalker, except for the lack of interesting animals and beasts to hunt. Rengar found himself facing a small group of champions and found a good place to hide while staring down his potential prey whilst not giving himself away.

"Well Ah would stay in town, but the guards would be bustin' down mah door awful fast cause, they would follow me. Plus Ah don't know the layout of the cities well so Ah might have ta' use Destiny ta' get away." Twisted Fate explained, "Thanks fer' yer' offer Ahri, it seems mighty peaceful round' here. Reminds me of mah early gypsy days when Ah was with mah parents. Its also pretty peaceful round' here...Ah could get used ta' that."
The Cardmaster smiled at the memory, granted he did not like the poverty his family faced, but he did enjoy the time with his parents to say the least...before he went and became Twisted Fate the best card player in Valoran and well known conman.
It was then that she continued her flirty actions, which kept Twisted Fate's attention. He knew he was a little bit of a sucker for beautiful, exotic women. However, he also knew the consequences that came with...well getting too close to Ahri. However, the Cardmaster knew he was the luckiest man, and therefore what Ahri did to other men...would not happen to him.
However his thoughts were distracted as he heard someone call out his title and he turned to the sound of the voice to see Varus aiming an arrow right at him. As far as Twisted Fate knew he had not wronged Varus, so he was more than a little confused why the archer was aiming the arrow at him.
When Ahri stood in front of him he took that moment to quickly draw a hand of five cards. He had a feeling he knew what the cards were, and they gave him versatility to deal with many situations. However he could not help but make a comment to Ahri, "Remember what Ah said bout' peaceful..Ah'd like ta' say Ah've changed mah mind bout' that." He watched Varus carefully over, Ahri's shoulder. Granted he did not exactly like a woman riskin' herself fer' him, but he figured that if things went south he could pull out an ace of spades.

The next thing he saw was the fox woman putting herself in between his arrow and the card master. That gesture confused him at first. However, everything was explained when Ahri told Varus that Twisted Fate was a friend and meant no harm. The arrow disintegrated and his bow seemed to be seeped in by his arm and disappeared. He looked at Ahri then gave her an expression of slight apology.
"So it was a misunderstanding... Outsiders have the right to be suspected. I cannot let what happened back then occur in Ionia again. I hope you do understand, Ahri." he said in an almost considerate voice.
He leaned his back against a tree close to the nine-tailed fox. As an archer, he was adept to his surroundings. His instinctual switches were also always on high alert. He looked around the surroundings. Something about the wind felt bad and it disturbed him at the slightest inside. Giving Ahri what seemed like an almost genuine smile, he spoke.
"Since the temple I have guarded is within me now, I have decided to guard Ionia itself. That's what I am here for."
He murmured below his breath to the fox, speaking only loud enough so only she can hear it. "I feel danger in the wind... It might not be safe to stay here. At least one presence stalks our surroundings."
