Wolf stared at the flower with an almost guilty look. "I uh..." She took the flower and had a little but of a sniff. "Are you not worried I might lead them to you?"

Aurus was surprised by her hug, but after he recovered he hugged her back. He was a head taller than her, so his head rested above her head."You are most welcome."
Aurus could only remember the last time he had been hugged. It had been his mother, hugging him before telling him to run for his life.
He felt tears stinging his eyes as he remembered the last time he saw his mother alive. He tried to fight them off, but a single tear escaped his eyes.
Wolf was oblivious to the tear that Aurus had just shed, she felt a little awkward hugging him but she was feeling like he was her only friend. She pushed away a little and returned to packing her things. "I'm not sure I will ever see you again." Her words were a bit choked like she was said that she was leaving.

Aurus quickly composed himself, pushing his memories away from his mind. He would be strong, he had to be.
He heard the sadness in her voice as she lamented never seeing each other. He put his hand on her shoulder and turned her to face him. He then placed his other hand on her other shoulder.
"I promise you, we will meet again. And we will have a better meeting than this one."
He gave her a smile with his words, the best he could.
"I hope we do." Wolf said as she looked down at the ground. "can I have something to eat before I leave?" She requested as her last request to him before she departed.

"Of course.
He lead her back to the kitchen in the monastery.
"What would you like? I'm afraid we don't have anything too fancy to eat. We have fruit and vegetables and a small reserve of meat we get from hunting and trading."
"I estimate about a weeks travel in my current condition." Wolf said as she quickly finished her meal and collected her stuff for her travels. "goodbye Aurus" She blushed as she realized that she never addressed him by his name for the entire duration of her visit.

Wolf ignored Aurus's hand and instead stood on her tiptoes to give him a small kiss on the cheek. "I'll tell you later ok." She said as she turned around a left the monastery making way for the passage to leave the valley all together.
