Daichi would enter the base at sword point. "No need to be uncivil. I'm certain you were part of the old order. That means you and I were both victims of Zed's treachery. Where ever Itsuki intended on making Daichi sit he would sit.
"Uncivil? So it would seem I suppose..." Itsuki replied evenly.
"Even though you've been cooperative you have yet to give me a reason to truly trust you. And you speak of the old order as if simply mentioning it would have me drop my guard. Many of the 'old order' defected to Zed's order even after his treacherous attack on the temple - sit there for now..." Itsuki continued as he steered Daichi with his sword to have a seat in a lone chair at the center of the room. Upon taking a seat Itsuki would use his Mokuton ninjutsu to create restraints for Daichi.
"Anyone can make claims regarding their allegiance, and if I find you are lying and are of the Shadow Order I will lose no sleep over making you suffer before ending your life. So with that said I ask you again to prove you are here to deliver a message to Akali."

Restraints. They were problematic, however it was fortunate for Hamamoto that nothing of his person hinted to Itsuki that he was a deadly Cyromancer. He didn't need to a full range of motion to kill, or even to draw a sword for that matter.
"If I was with the order of the shadow, one of us would be dead already. After all, a captured operative may as well be a dead one. And if you suspect me to be a deceiver then you would need to go excessively out of your way to prove I'm not lying." He paused, ever calm.
"If you were part of the Old Order. You knew my Father. Katsu, The Iceborn Shadow. He died when the Old Order fell. By telling you this, I've allowed you to know that these restraints are useless to you if you intended on stopping me from hurting you. I forfeit the element of surprise by doing this. More importantly. Akali knows me. I request you inform her of my arrival here. I was not expected. I promise you. I won't move from this spot."
"Look here, it appears my timing is impeccable. I really hate to interrupt," A voice came from just outside the shack, "But I think I'd hate to see spilled blood even more, unless necessary reasons were at hand."
The female ninja garbed in her red robes entered, setting down a bucket of freshly caught fish, wearing an expression that was nothing but neutral.
"Daichi. I know of you. But you are not of the Kinkou." She looked him over for a moment. "Why are you wearing the attire?"
Though she knew of this man on a somewhat positive basis, she gave no orders for Itsuki to ease up. It was dangerous to hand out trust in these times without further inspection and careful analysis.

"Sentimental value. That and it's easier to maneuver this deep into the territory without being immediately confronted. Summoner Robes are too eye catching." Daichi explained. "I wished to express interest in assisting you against the Order of the Shadows. I decided that the best way to demonstrate my ability was to perhaps do so by locating where ever your outpost was."
His eyes fell to Itsuke for a moment before looking back to the Kinouichi in red. "...The Institute of War has too many watchful eyes. I assure you, I was not followed or monitored by anyone I didn't want monitoring. Would you give me an opportunity to prove my worth Akali? I've come along way since we met while I was working with Aimi."
Assistance? While it would be welcome Itsuki wanted to laugh at the thought. While there were many ways he could have gone about expressing his desire to offer aid to what was left of the Kinkou, Daichi chose possibly one of the strangest ways to do it. He went out of his way obviously to find their newly built outpost that was supposed to be hidden from any prying eyes. He risked being tailed by the Shadow Order all the way from the Institute to do this to boot.
And all to ask one of the triumvirate would allow him prove himself? No one had asked him to prove anything. If any of the triumvirate trusted him enough the Kinkou would have made use of this mans abilities, whatever they might have been, to the fullest. Playing hide and go seek with the new Kinkou outpost that was supposed to stay hidden and then being caught immediately after finding it was a poor first impression, at least in Itsuki's mind it was. The only thing Daichi had proved to Itsuki so far was that he was a fool.
"Hmph. Son of the Iceborn Shadow? Whether or not you could free yourself easily does not matter to me. Those 'useless restraints' would give me more than enough time to lop your head off if you tried anything...and if what has been said is indeed true you insulted your fathers memory by leaving the order. Even now you continue to do so with the way you carry yourself. Parading around not thinking hard enough of possible consequences your actions might have caused. And you come to us expecting to be welcomed with open arms in a time of conflict? You are a complete fool." Itsuki said monotonously. He purposely was taunting Daichi to see his reaction.

The most Itsuki received from his taunting was but a brief glance before his attention fell back upon Akali. Clearly he wanted a negative response. If he wanted to assume Daichi was a fool then he could. He could also shove his two cents in where ever he felt.
Akali watched Daichi's each subtle expression change; his every move. She, too, was prepared to strike were the need to arise, regardless of mild association with the ex-Kinkou. Flicking her mask up, she sighed and turned to Itsuki.
"You do realize we can't let him go, right? He knows exactly where I am - where we are. Letting him go would prove far too potentially detrimental, and I'm sure you don't want to start from scratch either. But we are not kidnappers, either. That's not who we are." Frustration trickled through her voice. "Whether we can trust him or not, we're stuck in a circle here."
She turned to Daichi. "And you. Why did you come searching for me, specifically, out of the triumvirate? Did you check the Kinkou first? Kennen, or Shen? Why me?"

"Finding you seemed to bode the most success for my desired involvement. Heading directly to the Kinkou would have attracted the Order of the Shadow directly to me and would have made operating...difficult. I would have preferred to keep my involvement here as quiet as possible, it doesn't hurt to have another unknown. Shen is...elusive, even by my standards. He also seems very detached from the situation. I'm aware of Kennen's involvement and his role as a messenger. Ultimately though, you seem to have control over this operation." Daichi answered again.
"I apologize for the frustration Akali. I do mean well for this."
Itsuki listened to both Akali and Daichi speak while pondering the situation. What Akali spoke was true, simply letting Daichi go would be the worst option possible. If he were caught by the enemy everything done so far at the new hideout would be undone, everything would have to be started from scratch. Unfortunately, they could not just take him prisoner nor put an end to his life without a clear concise reason. Taking such a way out was not following the path of balance.
"You're right. There aren't very many options, and the ones that are currently on the table are not very appealing." Itsuki replied to Akali as he crossed his arms and brought a hand to his chin in thought.
The man so far had not posed any threat to them and had been, as much as Itsuki would hate to admit it, surprisingly cooperative. He seemed sincere in his desire for help, and if his claim of being the son of the Iceborn Shadow cryomancy was indeed true it would be a useful skill to have on ones side. And as Daichi pointed out earlier. Why would a Shadow Order member deliberately allow himself to be captured and then attempt to plea innocence and offer aid in order to infiltrate the Kinkou as a spy? "Because an absurd scenario could have us believe he couldn't possibly be of the Shadow Order, making us lower our guard allowing the spy into our circle..." Itsuki thought, answering his own question.
"We could keep an eye on him and send a message to Shen to have his opinion on this interesting problem that has quite literally presented itself on our doorstep. Eitheir that or we extend our trust to this man, who at the moment I would not trust as far as I could throw, and accept his aid. I know you have possible solutions of your own as well. Whatever your decision I have faith in your judgement and will follow orders." Itsuki said dutifully. At this point he put his faith completely in Akali as this was not his decision to make. She was part of the triumvirate for a reason, her judgement would be sound.
Akali set her kama blades against the nearby wall, and set her gaze among their supposed prisoner in a silent moment to soak in Itsuki's words and ponder.
"Both are risky." She simply said. "However, I've had previous encounters with him before." She stopped. "Well, only one. We had an extensive conversation, and it appears he's affiliated with a childhood friend of mine. Now," she turned to look at Daichi, "this by no means he's completely trustworthy, but I see no means of casting him out, either. I'm sure we can find a way to make use of him somehow until he further proves his worth and where his loyalties lie. While keeping an eye on him, of course."
She placed a hand on her forehead, seemingly thrown off track with this situation. A sigh escaped her lips.
"I'll inform Shen when the need arises, but he's unneeded to form a decision. I'm sure he will understand fully."

"Balance in all things, remember chaos is part of the balance as well." Daichi laughed if only a bit nervously. "...Thank you for allowing me a chance Akali." He gave a light smile and then looked to his bonds.
"I hope no one minds me asking. But I would like to not spend the rest of the season bound to a chair. It'll be very difficult to do anything this way. And I'd hate to break the chair."
Even after he kept calm and composed during his wise cracks. If anything the young man had confidence.
