In all her years of coming through the gates of Delmacia, Lux never once viewed them in such splendor as the now crumbling fortification now holds. Keeping enemy forces out only presented one advantage to gates; the true advantage came when they funneled your enemy down a straight path. Probably the only time any of these "champions" ever set path down the straight and narrow. Lux thought, and with the welcoming Lux planned, probably the only time they would move down it.
A phalanx of steel blocked her from unleashing any more of her Funkein, as such a concentrated attack could, through a small window, be...well...a little overpowering for some ears and possibly some nerves. Garren rallied his men along with the defenders of the gate.
Before any more men could be scoured under a killing sky, Lux threw out a prismatic barrier over the valiant forces to grant them a second wind to push. Behind the walls she could hide from Thresh and Mordekaiser, but risking the ramparts could allow her to snare the advancing champions. How long they could hold the gates stayed up in the air, and Lux knew the tight space made for a perfect bulwark for her magics.
"Guard your eyes!" Lux yelled from behind the iron wall. A singularity shot out from her hand and arced over the line. The energy output would put out a bright explosion but destroy several creatures- and some of the Demacians recently returned. "Push!"
Her plan would try to clear out a hole in the enemy lines to allow Garren to push forward and lead the champions of Demacia to push back Mordekaiser and Thresh from the gates. "Hold steady!" She readied her wand in preparation for the next move.
Azazel nods as Hecarim tell him to summon the Eternal Nightmare, "It will be done sir." A sicken feeling churns within Azazel as he moves away from Hecarim in order to summon Nocturne without interference, taking a deep breath he bows his head, shadows begin to swarm about his being as his chanting floats though the air. Beneath the hood he wore, his eyes began to crackle with dark energy...
Elise smirked as she strolled onto a hill, standing atop of it and looking out at the city of Demacia... undead running rampant, people's screams echoing over the city as fires from within burned bright. Elise looked down, her arms folded, her smirk seeming to grow wider as her crimson eyes flashed a little. Behind her, the thuds of a monster could be heard, it's massive legs leaving little craters in the ground as it walked towards it's Queen.
The creature let out a screech as it stopped next to the Spider Queen, towering over her, she smirked a little as she looked up to it. "Do not fret, my pet." She cooed, stroking one of it's massive legs. "You will feast soon enough..." Elise let out a wicked chuckle as thousands of spiderlings crawled onto the creatures back. When he could hold no more, Vilemaw let out a screech.
Elise smirked wide and looked down at the city, the creature lowered it's head down and eye'd it's Queen. Elise stroked the beasts snout and cooed quietly. "Go my pet... go, and lay waste to Demacia..." Vilemaw let out a joyful screech and quickly skittered off to the city, the thuds of it's massive legs could be heard for a good distance away. Vilemaw crashed against one of the Demacian walls, throwing it's massive body against it again and again
The Spiderlings upon it's back all jumped off and began to crawl over the wall, terrorizing soliders and innocent alike, killing them often with one, very poisonous bite. ------------------------------------------------

With Mordekaiser at the gates, and a large number of the defending forces stopping the breach, the Behemoths lumbered onwards, their 25 ft high bodies of twisted flesh and armoured bone protecting them from the majority of the attacks thrown at them, two of the tweenty four behemoths were brought down before they were able to assault the walls.
Onagers firing the explosive spiritfire that ate away at the walls weakening them, killing a few of the demacian defenders that were upon the walls aswell. Balista firing over the walls of the city, flaming tips impaling building setting them alight to cause panic through-out the defenses. All this gave the great Behemoths the cover they needed to finally reach the walls. Their large bodies slamming into the Demacian defense, causing the morter and stone to crack violently.
Though the Demacian's had bottlenecked the undead at the gates, they would have to stop the undead giants at the walls or they would need to fall back to avoid being over run right then and there.
With Thresh's explosive flail within the gates near Mordekaiser and Lux, the demacian soldiers would be severly wounded, opening a large hole in their ranks and sending shrapnel towards Lux.
TROOP COUNT: Behemoths: 22/24 Undead soldiers; 190,000/200,000 Zombies within the sewers raised at STG1 remaining; 350

Victus and three other Demacians took the Siphon, and only Victus survived it, though it knocked him back. He prepared to advance again when the vanguard was heard shouting to them.
Victus would have paid no heed to the Vanguard, but his own soldiers did not share his rage. They followed the orders of the Vanguard. As Victus cared not for them, they cared not for him. They cared about Demacia and the Vanguard was the paragons of their creed. If they said pull back, they would.
The Barbarian wanted to keep going, but one of his younger 'shield brothers' was wise (or stupid) enough to give Victus's cloak a yank, as he thought his leader had not heard. Victus almost took his head with a backhand, the the horror on the lads face combined with the lad being about 15 winters had Victus surging back into the Knight and the Knight knew they were not in a good place....until he saw the black banner with the blood red blade.
"Brightblade?...no....NO!!" He almost went to them, but the youth kept pulling on Victus's cloak. and another three soldiers saw the struggling lad and pulled Victus back behind the gate.
"DAMN YOU ALL!! LET ME GO! MY BROTHERS NEED ME! BRIGHTBLADE LIVES! LET ME GO!" Victus howled, kicking and punching, trying to get loose as another three men came to help get Victus inside. They just managed to get Victus inside, but he still was struggling. He actually threw one of the men off of him and almost got his feet under him. This was not the Knight, but the barbarian child, kicking screaming to aid his kin. He was trying to get loose.

((Me is confused. Who is in control of the defenses on my side, cause I believe someone set ballistae up on our side and I don't see them being used, amongst other things...))
The Pathfinders at the gate run on and off with boards and beams to fortify the gates, while the ones on the walls are running up and down lighting crossbow bolts and carrying the large bolts on the ballistae. With the bombardment, several of them died, however, the perks of being a high mobility unit showed as most managed to dodge the bombardments.
Then the spiders came... cursed spiders... suddenly, the support teams had other tasks to do. wether they were armed with swords, torches, or freaking bolts, suddenly, after the shudders of the surprise went away, a spider hunt began on the walls. Death was inevitable, and the inevitable was not to be feared. They only hoped the crossbowmen and engineers could hold that huge variant off.

I am a Pathfinder. I will do what everyone else thinks below him, because someone must do it. Call me dishonorable for it all you want. I serve justice, not honor. And Demacia, ofcourse.
Mordekaiser looked at the man as the little kid tugged on his cape. He laughed some before setting his mace down. "Go on fool, hit me!" He said as he brought a clenched fist to his chest. It was only when he began to scream and shout that he eyed him oddly and turned around to see the black flag and crimson red blade marching through the ranks of the Legion. He smiled behind the shadows of his helm. This was too good! The once strong and brave barbarian was now turned into a crazy one.
He watched as the man was being dragged away by his allies. He lifted his arms out in mockery to the man. "What's the matter'Brightblade?' Has seeing your brethren turn against you to join in your demise turn you soft? Do not fear, for you too can walk among them if you wish to. None shall point fingers at you." He said as the man was being pulled away. He then turned to the Legion and shouted. "The enemies pull back and the Behemoths now apply pressure to the walls! Go forth and attack them! They will not be able to fight both at the same time effectively!" He shouted as he went with the already charging Behemoths. He paused for a second as he eyed one he was running behind. Looking back and forth at the gate and Behemoths, before leaping towards one with his mace morphed onto his back with his metal magic. He began to scale the hunk of corpses, slowly getting his way to the top. He stood there on the top of a Behemoth, waiting for the right time to get off and onto the wall. He watched the little spiders skitter about and to the walls, along with the great Vilemaw. About time she got here. For now, he stood atop the mighty behemoth, ready to leap to the gate when the toke came.

-The gates- The blast from Lux put a nasty dent in the Legionaries front line. A good number of its hosts on the front-line were no longer usable. But the boon of fortune was upon Legion as Thresh's flail grenade sailed over the wall and detonated. Legion reached out and made the fallen Demacian's rise, the unholy shrapnel still imbedded in their bodies. Thought it wasn't enough to fully replace what it lost, but it would do for now.The newly risen would turn to their former allies and resumed the efforts to push through to the city proper.
Forces at the gates including risen Demacian defenders- 657/1000 Legion Health-Good
-Brightblades- The Brightblade Legionaries resumed their dark march. Legion could not help but to feel glee as the barbarian threw his fit and had to be withdrawn from the battle. He could tell that others had their hopes for reinforcements, and took dark satisfaction when those hopes were shattered has they marched with the forces of the isles. They would split off and raise their shields in one synchronous movement to defend from the arrows that hailed on to them. With their free hands they would begin to set up the siege ladders against the walls. They also set one up near Thresh, one of the Legionnaire's looked at the Warden, its many voices in his head.
" Master Thresh, feel free to use the siege ladders to get into the city proper if you wish. Some of our hosts will stay and aid you if you so wish it."
"We are the King's Legion. Fear us, for we are many. Join us, for you will die. There is no sweeter mercy we can grant than your release from the mortal coil."

The shadows swirling around the summoner gradually sped up as he continued through the summon, a single wisp of darkness appearing in front of Azazel. The wisp gradually grew in size, eventually taking a roughly humanoid, but legless, form. A pair of haunting white eyes popped into existence, glaring directly at the summoner. The rest of Nocturne's form, mainly its blades, faded into existence as the nightmare projected its thoughts into Azazel's mind.
"While I may be entitled to serve your King, you let him know that I do not take kindly to working alongside a human, a summoner no less. And make sure that you do NOT summon me again."
And with that, it turned towards the city itself, its now fully formed shadow of a body rippling at the movement. Within a few seconds, an echoing rumble would resound throughout most of Demacia as it began to flood with darkness, any sort of light being completely extinguished. Nocturne's laughter rung down the streets, audible to all.
Daaarrkneeeeess...

"All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream."
Jarvan made his way down to Lux as the spiderlings dropped down and began their attack. One landed next to him and he reacted by stomping on it and crushing it. He knew Luxanna was a majorly important force in this defense. Not only does she have long range offensive magic that the enemy is weak to, but she can also produce shields to keep the men alive longer.
Another spiderling approached them and he quickly cut it down with his lance. "MEN turn all of your attention to Vilemaw and the behemoths. These walls must not fall!" He turns to look at Lux. "Miss Crownguard, do not worry of your safety I will protect you. You just worry about firing as many lasers as you can." He flashes his famous smile. "With your skills we may make it out of here with relatively no injury."
((Location: Next to Lux acting as a guard.))
As soon as the prince gave his orders, the Demacian soldiers began to focus fire on Vilemaw. They shoot it with flaming arrows and throw anything sharp and on fire at it. Many of the items impale the giant spider and stay a flame. A few men fall to the spiderlings, but for the most part, they crush them as soon as they land.
The men that aren't within range of Vilemaw focus on the behemoths. It is hard to hit them because they are moving, but the arrows that do hit cause severe damage.

Though the Demacian archers poured arrows into the great behemoths as their bodies crashed against the walls, nothing seemed to slow them. Being undead, their natural resiliance to pain stopped the arrows that managed to somehow puncture the bone plating the covered their bodies from being all the noticable. The fire burned their rotten flesh to various degrees, though, it was clear. It would take more than simple flaming arrows to bring down the 25ft giant walking hulks of undead twisted flesh as they attempted to break through the walls.
Aided by the spiritfire exploding across the walls, they would break through soon if nothing significant was done to stop them. Great gouges were already appearing within the walls as they could no longer resist the raw brutal force being unleashed upon them.

With Nocturne shrouding Demacia in total darkness once again, Azazel smiles beneath his hood. Perfect... They Demacian's wouldn't be able to see a thing... The Undead had no need for vision, they were simple fodder.
His eyes burn brightly beneath his hood, he turns his gaze upon Hecarim, "Sir... I won't be seeing you until this is over."
Azazel's form looks to evaporate into the shadows a sickening sadistic grin plastered upon his face as he disappears. If the shadows weren't there so obscure what really happened, it would have looked as though Azazel had slowly turned to smoke, the smoke then rocketted over the walls and towards the Demacian city.

Belle brought her hands up as she stood over the lantern, staring down at it with a deeply sorrowful look upon her gentle visage. The haunting sounds of the spirit inside her did nothing to sooth her fear, or anger as it mocked her visciously in secret.
Poison. Clever, isn't it? All by your hands. Don't you wonder if you've been exposed? Do you feel sick? Weak? No? Just angry. I feel it too. But the pain when people slowly died around you, was delicious.
Belle turned to look at Xin, and Gillam. Her expression going dark briefly, "We should find guards to watch over this." She said, motioning lightly to the lantern, "Will you go find some? The cider is poisoned, so do not touch it without precautions."
"I must go check on some people. Please, for now, do not follow me.. I need... I need to clear my head." Lifting her hand, she would press her fingertips to her forehead with a pained look as she started off away from the lantern.

"The crucified farmers from our conquest here, send them back over the walls with the catapults, set them ablaze and make the living suffer! This day is OURS."
Nocturne had been brought back into the battlefield, excellent. With his darkness spreading through the city there would be panic. Especially with Elise and her giant spider joining them, about time she decided to show up for this battle.
And now, the centaur continued to wait for either the gates to fall or his plan to come into fruition. Only time would tell at this point, but to make sure things stayed in their favor he gave one more command to Legion and nodded to Azazel as he made his leave.
"When those gates fall, we shall move forward and force them back with our numbers. And make sure that Mordekaiser doesn't damage that behemoth he's mounted."
