Boat on it's way to Piltover on the Guardian's Sea
Markus was in the middle of napping in his quarters of the ship when suddenly pain had surged through his scalp causing it to bleed, suddenly waking him with a yell
"OW! The hell was that..." He rubbed his bleeding dark hair and got up from his bed to look at himself in the mirror, looking somewhat unprepared in his pajama's he looked upon his reflection and saw the ring that Soraka had given him was glowing. When he brought it for further inspection to his face he was given a vision of the Starcaller being assaulted by Shaco in her home.
He had to make sure she was alright. Yelling up to the captain of the ship to turn around he hoped he wouldn't be too late to save the person who had saved his life countless times.
March 18th, 23 CLE 2:30 AM On another boat en route to Zaun.
Shaco hummed a sailor's song jokingly to himself as the small watercraft leaped across the slightly turbulent early morning waves of the Guardian's Sea. Shaco was maneuvering a small sloop, with room for about six or seven people on board at a time.
He was operating the ship's one steering wheel himself. He may have not been that experienced at sailing, but he didn't want to hire someone to sail a ship for him, when could do it by himself and without any assistance.

Soraka had been unconscious and lying on the floor for the whole boat ride thus far. Her world was black and filled with nothingness. She had no thoughts or dreams while she was under. Her head had finally stopped bleeding and had scabbed over.
The Starchild had started to come to, slowly the world began to piece together. She felt the lurching of the ocean and smelt the tang of the salt. She groaned as her arm twitched, she was highly uncomfortable on the hard floor. Soraka was still unable to form thoughts yet for she was too groggy from the forced sleep.
The cruelty of one will not blind me of the suffering of many.
"Oh, look who's up! Ohohohohoho!" Shaco burst out in laughter, noticing Soraka's awakening towards the back of the boat. He twirled a shiv in his empty hand, grinning.
"Don't worry, we'll be there in just a few hours. There, you'll get some nice rest, and then you'll meet him..." Shaco burst out into laughter once more. He had considered how simple it would be to simply slay Soraka, but it would be oh so much more fun to take her to Warwick himself. There, his vengeance would be settled once and for all, and Shaco could watch it, right in front of his own eyes!
The Jester giggled to himself, grinning once more in the pale moonlight. Suddenly, a thought occured to him. WHat if Soraka managed to escape? Nah...it was unlikely... Shaco threw down the anchor briefly, and proceeded to set up a Jack in the Box near Soraka. If she tried anything, she would awaken the contraption, and be wounded slightly.

Soraka heard a voice, but she could not pick out any words. It sounded like a TV in another room, you could hear it but it made no sense. She cracked her eyes open slightly, wherever she was it was dark. The words started to clear ever so slightly and she could pick a few out.
The Starchild groaned as she put her arms underneath herself. Her whole body was sore and stiff. She pushed herself up slowly and sat against the wall. The pain of her head injury hit her like a freight train.
"Aaah!"
She put her hands against her forehead and squeezed. Her head throbbed with each heartbeat. Also, she was terribly dizzy. Slowly her thoughts began to return to her. She remembered being in her home at night. Then suddenly, Shaco was there. Her eyes widened as she realized what happened. She has been kidnapped!
Soraka panicked as she thought of the people that needed her. She couldn't just leave, lives were at stake. She remembered her ring and quickly grabbed for it. Slight relief washed over her as she found out that she still had it. She would then try to contact Markus through the bond they had.
"Markus, can you hear me?"
The cruelty of one will not blind me of the suffering of many.
Markus was making his way to Soraka's hut when she had contacted him through the ring, surprised at the sudden message she sent he had tripped. For the first time in nearly 3 years the speedster had tripped, on the ground rubbing his head he eagerly responded to Soraka getting a bit ahead of himself with his words.
"Y-yes i can hear you! Where are you?! What does Shaco want with you? How are we even speaking to each other right now?!"

Soraka flinched as she felt new pain from when Markus tripped. She rubbed under her horn.
"Careful. I am..."
She had to pause and think when he asked where she was. She was unsure of that herself. It was so hard for her to think with this constant, throbbing pain.
"Hold on, let me heal us."
She brought her hand up to where her scalp had split. This felt odd, she almost never had to use her magic on herself. Her hand glowed and her skin knit back together. Markus would feel the same relief of the healing. The headache was not gone, but it was dulled. The pain was an afterthought, and could easily be forgotten. Now that she could think straight she looked at her surroundings to try and figure out where she was.
"I seem to be on some sort of boat? It is quite small. Shaco is delivering me to someone, but he won't say to whom. When I told him I couldn't go with him, he bashed me over the head."
If it wasn't for the seriousness of the situation Soraka was in, she would of giggled at Markus' confusion over their shared speech. Though, it shouldn't be called speech. Telepathy is what it was most like, the ring wearers being able to communicate through their minds.
"Have you forgotten the twin rings we wear Markus? I meant it when I said we were linked while wearing them."
The cruelty of one will not blind me of the suffering of many.
Shaco heard the barely audible groan from the Starchild, smiling once more to turn back to her. "There's no need for frustration, dear. We'll get there in no time, no need to fret." Taking note in the fact that Soraka hadn't answered him the first time, Shaco glanced back towards her once more, a look of suspicion on his face. After a few uneventful seconds, Shaco shrugged, and turned back to focus on steering the vessel.

Back at Soraka's hut, Udyr would emerge from the nearby woods, grumbling aloud to himself. Before he stepped into the hut, his nose twitched. Blood. He made his way in, taking note of the crimson trail and saw the Jack-in-the-Box resting on the floor.
Udyr quietly walked over, not caring for the bolts of arcane magic it spewed and promptly stomped on it. "The Jester," he growled. Udyr clicked his tongue, let out an exasperated grunt and stroked his beard.
From the corner of his eye, he spotted Orion. He let out a low meow at the feline. "Meow." (Translation: What did the smiling man say?)
His keen eyes and his nose could easily see and smell her blood. It had a different scent to it. Udyr let out a soft hiss. "Fft." (Your companion's life depends on it, speak everything and quickly.)

Soraka frowned when Shaco said they would be at their destination shortly.
"Shaco, why is it so important that I leave my home and come with you? Is someone hurt and need my help?"
She knew this wasn't the reason why she was taken. Someone on their death bed would of sent a more friendly escort. She was known for her willingness to travel in order to heal someone, free of charge of course.
Meanwhile at Soraka's hut, Orion was in a panic. He sensed someone else was coming so he tried to hide. Though something was different about this man. The small cat could tell that this man was one with the animals, and that he meant him no harm. When Udyr began to speak to him in a tongue he could understand, he ran to his side.
"I knew he was coming, I knew something was wrong! I tried to tell her, but she didn't understand me. The smiling man came and attacked her! He was saying things about taking her to meet someone. Then he hit her! I was so mad that I attacked the man. Then he put that demon box down and I could not follow."
The cat puffed out his fur to show emphasis on how mad he was.

It was a late and freezing night. The quietness reigned over the Ionian island, letting the echo of the crickets' and the owls' languages ring out in the cold Ionian forest that was veiled by the night's dark curtain. None of the stars have attended to the lifeless skies, not even a gleam of light could be seen up there. The black sky was naked, stripped away from its radiant beauty. The wind growled across the empty landscape, bashing through the trunks and the scrambling leaves as it curved itself a path in between, before leaving a dead silence behind its way.
Irelia ran across the forest, avoiding any obstacle that would come in her way. The Captain's burning fury that overwhelmed her heart, despite the effort of her spirit to calm it down, made her forget about her legs' fatigue. The adrenaline rushed through her crimson streams as her steps became faster with every second that ticked away. Drops of sweat poured down from her body as her breath broke the silence of the dark night. She wanted to rest her body after all this running but she could not afford to waste time when a friend's life is in danger.
Markus was instantly relieved of the pain in his head and more relaxed that Soraka was still -somewhat- safe. But still, the Starcaller had to be rescued from Shaco and in order to do that he had to know where his boat was going.
"Oh that's right! It tried to tell me you were in danger earlier... sometimes i just move too fast for my own good. But this boat you're on, can you tell where it's going? Or whenever you can let me know so i can give that clown a beating for taking you away from people who need your help!"
Getting back up and dusting himself off he tried to think of his next course of action, there was no point in going to her hut now that he had a mental connection with Soraka. Getting clue's there wouldn't help, and running back to his ship and setting sail in who knows what direction wouldn't either. He'd have to plan with Irelia on what to do next, and with that the speedster made his way to the outside of the Starcallers hut and simply waited for her to catch up, unaware Udyr was inside and most likely ready to beat him to a pulp for not being able to do much alone in such a situation.

Udyr knelt down and extended his hand out. His calloused fingers stroked the cat's back as he started to pet him. He let out a low, reassuring purr and then stood up. His nose twitched, someone else was here. Outside. Someone whose scent he did not find familiar.
The beast man grunted. "You can come in. There is only we and a cat."
The proof that the state is a creation of nature and prior to the individual is that the individual, when isolated, is not self-sufficing; and therefore he is like a part in relation to the whole. But he who is unable to live in society, or who has no need because he is sufficient for himself, must be either a beast or a god.
Shaco swiveled his head around, grinning as always. He was glad she had finally spoken up, as she could have jumped off the boat without him knowing. "Oh trust me, dear. If I told you who we were going to see, you would not want to accompany me. In fact, I am doing you a favor by not revealing their identity..."
Shaco winked ever so slightly, more to himself than to Soraka, as he doubted that something that subtle could have been seen in the dark night. "You should be thanking me right now, Starchild. You could have been already dead, or worse...ohohohohohoho!"
At first when Markus heard a voice calling him inside of Soraka's hut he was instantly on alert, slowly entering and almost instantly recognizing the beast-man as Udyr. What was he doing here ? The news of Soraka's kidnapping couldn't have spread that quickly, maybe he was he could answer a question or two he had? The only way to find out was to ask.
"I think you already know what's happened to Soraka, but i have a question... are there any people you can think of that would hire Shaco of all people to kidnap her?"
