YES, i am A CHILD and i will REMAIN a child till THE END of CREATION. not THAT I EVER want to BE an ADULT. after ALL, what is AN ADULT but a child WHO realizes HOW close to DEATH they are? doesnt REALLY work FOR me NOR pix, who has A SIMILAR lifespan. we LITERALLY have aaaaaaall the TIME in the WORLD to do WHATEVER we want and WHATEVER we NEED to complete OUR goals. but thats the scary thing, isn't it?

you HAVE a GOAL of some KIND right? thats the REASON you're STRONG and WHY you NEED to grow EVEN STRONGER correct? and THE fact that YOU have a time LIMIT makes IT necessary to BE stoic, TO FOCUS on that goal, correct? Thats the plan FOR MOST living CREATURES in these WORLDS. to FIND and FINISH your goals in YOUR time limit AND die without REGRETS. but WHAT if you COULDNT finally DIE after you FINISH? what if you STAY despite FINISHING everything YOU think IS important? you grow bored...

and WITH boredom GROWS a need to SATE it, up TO the point WHERE you will do ANYTHING to somehow move FORWARD in a LIFE you already FINISHED. and THATS why i need TO amuse MYSELF. otherwise I GROW bored. and then I PLOT. Given ENOUGH time, I COULD do ANYTHING i want DESPITE any obstacle, because time erodes many, many things. Imagine yourself as an immortal, do you doubt that you couldn't rule or destroy the world given enough time?

I TRY and distract MYSELF from these THOUGHTS. thats WHERE the fun COMES in. VALORAN is STILL very MUCH a FUN and EXCITING place, and I HOPE it stays THAT Way. Udyr quietly looked at Lulu, letting her talk uninterrupted for once. He would crick his knuckles, nod his head, and reply in a flat tone. "Then defeat us, in unarmed combat."
The beast man cracked his knuckles, staring at the Yordle. "Your time limit will be based on our life span. If you fail to defeat us, then you have failed a goal. If you cannot measure your own achievements by your lifespan, measure them by the lifespan of others. That, is the great horror of immortality. Many seek to gain it, and not care for its consequences."
Udyr took a stance, rolled his neck and motioned to Lulu to attack him. "Come. Let us see your skill."

Udyr would take a step forward and lift his hand up. He would aim to thump the top of Lulu's head with a simple hammer strike. It would feel like more of a bop rather than the thunderous force of his usual strikes.

Lulu jumps forward and attempts to hook hook her arm around Udyr's knees and pull backwards, trying to get him lower on the ground

Udyr watched as the Yordle jumped forward, throwing her arm out and attempting to hook his knee from behind. Not a bad idea. However, he was a trained martial artist. He shifted his leg and made sure that Lulu struck his kneecap with her knuckles.
The beast man would then use his momentum for a wide sweeping kick at Lulu's...everything, due to her height and the width of the tree trunk he called his leg.

Lulu grips on to his leg as the kick comes in and holds on, effectivly clinging to his leg as he kicks. The Sorceress quickly climbs the mountainous human and attempts to jab her fists in Udyr's eyes

The beast man had to admit, the Yordle was faring much better than he had anticipated. Age had certainly aided her, but he was still Udyr. He raised a hand up in front of his face and waited for Lulu to connect. The moment she struck his palm, his sausage fingers would snap down into a vicegrip, like a venus flytrap having caught a fly.

The moment he finished his sentence, Udyr gave Lulu a violent shake to create distance between him and the Yordle. He did not feel forced to use his aspects...Yet.

For some reason, Udyr winced, a memory from an alternate universe suddenly sparking in his mind. The imagery of his chest bursting, Lulu leaping out from his ribcage became all too vivid. For some reason, he had a good idea as to what would happen if Lulu were to do this.
"If you tried such a tactic, it might kill us," the beast man admitted. "But it would most certainly kill you. That, however, was not the goal of this exercise."
Udyr pointed at Lulu, his voice becoming stern. "Your goal is to surpass us, in our lifetime, not yours. You must be able to defeat Udyr with your own two hands and make your tools into weaponry; into extensions of your will rather than crutches. Do we make sense?"
