March 27th 23CLE
The forests just south of the Order of Shadows territory had become a spot of potential attack from Ionian forces. To counter act these possible attacks General Maria Blackwind had assigned Assassin White Wolf to scout the area and report back should any suspicious activity take place.
All in all Wolf had been scouting the area for 3 days and not much was happening though one issue was a main path ran right through her scouting pattern. Wolf was coming up to the path on her third run of the area taking a quick look to make sure that no one would spot her. All too soon a ranger had appeared behind her, seems he had been following her for a good part of her route and had began drawing his weapon. "You trespass Zaunite scum" Were his exact words, how many times did she have to be called Zaunite for people to understand that she wasn't Zaunite. She turned to face the ranger his weapon extended and perfectly in line with her nose just a few inches away. "You shouldn't be here, how about I show you that Zaunites don't belong here." He threatened as he jumped forward intending to impale Wolf's head to a tree only for her to duck and draw her own weapons. The man had jammed his sword in the tree and had instead drawn a bow and backed off now ready to fire an arrow at her head. The arrow whisled passed Wolf cheek only scratching her with one feather and she jumped forward with counter attack jabbing a Sai into the mans arm and the other into his chest which he promptly screamed in pain as his life quickly slipped away.

It was supposed to be a not so eventful day, combat-wise, for the Public Health Official from Piltover, who was on a quiet visit to his extended family in Ionia. He did not come to fight as he did - secretly - almost two decades ago, and so he was naturally far less armed that he would like to be, should he were thrown into combat.
However, that is not to say he did not come unprepared: his enforcer handgun was still in his holster, and concealed in his inside chest-pocket was his progressive machine pistol; both were loaded. Even without his weapons, though, he still knew how to fight without them; after all, he didn't stop unarmed practice after leaving the academy.
Even in presence, he had an advantage: the four now recognizable Options floated along behind him, their dim orange glow still keeping him nice and warm. Even though their combat capability would be shot if he were to lose both of his firearms, their presence alone was enough to inspire him; he had certainly not forgotten what they represented in the first place.
And it was good that he had all of this with him, for at this moment, he heard the hoarse scream of a man, which caused him to spas a little, before turning in the direction of the scream and taking off, taking out his machine pistol in the meantime.
A few moments later, he stumbled into the scene he did not expect to see: a man being impaled, and a woman... was it a woman? She definitely wasn't completely human, judging from her robotic features and tail... but that was beside the point.
He made his presence known, and switching off the safety on his machine pistol, seemingly challenged the two.
"Oi! What are you doing!?"

Wolf drew the Sai out of the mans chest, the body simply slumped to the ground lifeless. Another voice came into earshot, this complicated things, killing one man for self defense but now she had to kill another for seeing what she had done which would be against her orders. Wolf acted swiftly launching herself towards the other man with inhuman speed most likely an attribute of her augments. "You shouldn't have come!" Was all she would announce.

While a normal person would not have had the reaction time to see the woman charge, he was augmented himself, and so just hearing her voice was enough to tell him that he was going to have to fight.
Deftly, he dive-rolled to his right, giving himself about 14 feet from the spot he was just standing on, he leveled his machine pistol, but did not fire. He'd rather not have to fight, but if it came to such...
"Ay, what are you doing? I don't want to fight you!..." he called back, though he hardly expected the woman to be receptive.

The man would see nothing where he had just stood, Wolf had sent herself a good distance passed that and quickly climbed a tree readying herself to jump down directly on top of her enemy. The branch snapped under her reflexive lunge give Jon clear warning that she was coming down on top of him. She pointed the poison barb on her tail towards his chest as she struck.

'Oi, where did she go?' Was all Jon could think of, not seeing her anywhere. This one fast person... but he was fast too.
And that was a good thing.
Seeing a branch fall down nearby was enough to tell him where she was. He turned and looked up to see the being falling down. But his focus was on the tail, which he knew she wanted to hit him.
He backflipped, trying to make some distance, but he couldn't avoid the barb completely; it grazed his coat and just touched his skin. The scratch tinged a bit, but the poison was the problem, and it already made him feel a tad bit slow.
He wasn't going to finish his roll without trading back, however. He took his machine pistol in one hand, and fired off a burst in her general direction; he didn't expect any significant hits, but he was certainly going to make the statement that he wasn't going to not fight back at all.

A few bullets grazed Wolf's side and one hit her directly in the shoulder resulting in her dropping one of her Sai's. The poison was working its magic slowing down Jon but he had a ranged weapon making it ineffective, her option was spraying a bit of poison into Jon's eyes to blind him while she dodged away to avoid getting hit any further. The poison would sting Jon's eyes a bit and Wolf would disappear into thin air. She took her sweet time watching from a safe location her eye augmentations targeting the many vital spots on Jon's body. She once again jumped out of nowhere her Sai aimed for the direct center of Jon's chest.

Jon had just finished exiting his roll, only to meet a wad of poison splashing him right in the face.
"Uegh! Bloody hell!..." he grimaced as the Poison temporarily blinded him, and he took his other arm to rub out the poison, recovering only to see that the woman disappeared.
'Well, looks like this is a sneaky one... perhaps this might be a duel...' Jon commented mentally, keeping his sights with his weapon on anything he might be able to see; he was slightly slow from the poison, but he didn't lose his focus...
...and that was good, seeing that the woman had now tried to come at him again. He was able to react, and leveling the weapon at her, opened fire.
However, he was only able to fire off 5 or so rounds before a distinct clicking signified that his gun jammed. Seeing the distance she had now closed, there was no time to try to unjam: he was gonna have to fight this with his martial lineage.
Taking the weapon and flipping it horizontally, he swung forehanded, aiming for her Sai. He heard the clang of steel, and with it, he put as much force as he could.
The amount of force he put into the swing meant he was going to lose control of his weapon, but almost assured that the woman would have to let go of her Sai... or else twist her limb in an incredibly painful position.
If she wanted to fight a melee, she was gonna have to accept his terms... and those terms meant it was going to be a martial fight.

Another bullet grazed Wolf's side as she continued her lunge, then the sharp sound of metal hitting metal rang out in her ears and she felt a sharp pain in her wrist. She released her Sai which flew to jam itself into a nearby tree. Wolf flew over the man her strike failed and now she was on the other side of him unarmed. She took on a more unarmed stance using her good arm as she tucked the arm that had been shot into a safe location, she would be fighting more with her feet then her fists this time round and Tail was more then helpful as it sway erratically behind her.

Jon spun around as she flipped over him, now falling back into a more defensive stance with his arms after having let go of his weapon.
At least his tactic worked: this was now a no-weapons fight, one he was willing to engage in. However, the woman's tail - recalling the sting that came with it - meant that even though she only had one arm, he was going to take this safe.
To start, he started to circle her, keeping the same arms extended position he had maintained, prepared to meet any preemptive strike or blow.

Wolf's only movement was to turn to face her enemy her stance very defensive as she was already injured, the blood leaked from the scratch on her cheek and blood poured out of the bullet wound in he shoulder. Her eyes remained locked with the mans but they were not of anger or concentration or fear, but they appeared to be more of sadness. She took one small step forward and tail found a position that it could easily strike should the man make the first move.

Jon stopped circling after making what essentially was a 180, still keeping his hands extended for any move.
Seeing the expression on her face made him slightly frown, however; did this woman simply not want to fight anymore? But the fact that she had tried several times to end his life told him otherwise.
Still, he kept his position ready; his arms slightly twitched, his mind now processing whatever possible moves he could make from where he was.
He had his mind on one combo... but he was a patient man, and would see if the woman would lose her patience first.

Wolf wobbled with her next slight step, the blood she was losing was starting to take effect but she had to focus on her own defense right now. Her augmentations kicked in to stabilize Wolf for the time being but they wouldn't be able to cover that long, all the man had to do was wait for her to pass out in front of him. Her eyes switched to a more concentrated look now and she tightened her defensive stance, he was going to have to strike first for now.

Jon kept his position, seeing if the woman might try anything odd... but then he saw her wobble slightly.
Her focus was slightly going off, and so he figured a test of how much her focus was left would be a good idea.
He made a quick motion, closing the distance, and deciding to test her ribcage and biceps, aimed a few strikes at her good arm and her frontal rib-cage.
The strikes were not powerful enough to knock her down outright, or even throw her off any worse than she already was... but it would be a good gauge for just how capable she was in close-quarters combat.

Wolf's slowed reaction time due to blood loss would most likely result in her taking the full brunt of the mans strike, however she snapped back right before the mans strike using the momentum to her advantage. Using the strike she spun around the tail wrapping around the mans legs while throwing in a few slashes, she would then come back to hit the man in the side with her good arm.
