XenoS chuckled lightly as he traveled alongside him. "Ah yes, her. Those were some good times, huh?" He said with a small smile on his face. "Though it's a fine choice Your Majesty. I can see why you took her hand in marriage. Shame she's captured." And then he gave him his mission. This... This would be interesting... VERY interesting. There could be only a few places where he could even IMAGINE to get info like that. Of course there was the Institute, but he had never been inside the place. He'd have to know it inside and out just in case his searching and questioning was not taken to heart.
"Nothing I can't do I suppose." He said with a shrug as he walked with him. Then they gotten into the church to hear multiple angry voices go off at once. He looked around as they got too close for XenoS's liking. He began pushing them away, "Back off people! No touching or harming the prince." He said as he pushed them away. Perhaps it was out of instinct he did this. After all the contracts he protected and escorted that it made this second nature. He turned to Jarvan as he spoke tall and strong, a bit glad that he had calmed the people. However he turned to the citizens once more as they shouted back. "This may be a problem. No way you can be safe with all these people here..." He said. He glared at the worried priest as he pointed a finger onto his chest. "Nice going." He said flatly. He was nerve into religion, as it often defined his job as sinning and would punish him heavily for it. He turned back to Jarvan. "Any suggestions?"

Cordellia nodded at Wukong's suggestion she would follow him in a moment so as not to agitate him further by hanging around where she wasn't wanted. Cordellia looked to Poppy and raised an eyebrow, "My name is Cordellia Spiritmight, cousin to the Prince, head of the house Spiritmight." She then casually added with a dismissive wave of her hand, "Same house the queen came from."
She then shook her head, "I don't believe we meet, you may have met my parents before their deaths." Cordellia then looked over to where Jarvan had walked off to, "I guess I'll go stop my idiot cousin from doing something stupid..." She then walked off to follow the prince.
Cordellia soon rounded the corner to hear the angered yells and accusations being hurled about the church, Cordellia narrowed her eyes and took of at a brisk pace towards the church in order to see what was going on.
Wukong stood quiet again, letting them talk when he'd suddenly notice Lucas off away from the group. He'd tilt his head, then placed his fingers within his lips to let out a loud whistle hoping to snap the man's attention to the group. Looks like he could use a break, after all!
The Monkey King turned to Gillam next with a small frown, "Forgiving ones self allows us to grow." He said with a sage nod, "If you can't accept what you believe is a failure, then how can you learn from it?"
Church
From behind Jarvan, the real Wukong would appear from his cloak having decided to follow to ensure the Prince was alright. He'd blink a bit as the people swarmed the Prince with frustrations and questions concerning strength and what-not. He poked his pinky into his ear to scratch it, curling part of his lip up and squinting his eye as he did so before popping it out and quietly wiping it across his armor. "Wasn't the League established to prevent things like this?" Questioned the curious Monkey. "So wouldn't it make sense that they'd show up when this sort of thing broke out?" He tapped his chin thoughtfully then grinned wide.
"If you need to rely on someone else, there's nothing wrong with that! But seeking power like this, is a dangerous path to walk. You're contending with something we know little about, and has been known to destroy worlds! Wouldn't it be better to work together, and with Prince Jarvan IV to strengthen Demacia over seeking out that kind of strength from the Void?"

Lucas carved at somebody's left leg with his sword when he heard a whistle. After looking around, he noted that no one nearby could've been the target of that except him. He turned around, finished his work with the corpse, said a small prayer and went to report himself.
"Pathfinder Lucas Brightshield reporting for duty. My Presence has..."
Lucas suddenly recognised several people that in his mind, towered over him. He instantly got a nervous demeanor. One could even call him downright panicked.
"B-been r-r-requested?"
Lucas really didn't fear most of the men directly, but almost all of them were important enough to bring severe reprimands for something. And that was why they called him, wasn't it?
I am a Pathfinder. I will do what everyone else thinks below him, because someone must do it. Call me dishonorable for it all you want. I serve justice, not honor. And Demacia, ofcourse.

"That is true...although, I wound up in this time period due to a massive failure on my part." Gillam sighs, taking a brief glance at the church. Hearing commotion inside, he quizzically stared at the doors, then turned back to the Monkey King
At Lucas's entrance, Gillam raised an eyebrow. The knight was more relaxed now, but the weight of his failure still loomed above him. "If you wish to speak to the Prince, he is dealing with a situation in the church right now."
"No matter the era, I am Demacian, through and through."
Jarvan nodded towards Xenos. "You have to have a silver tongue when you are in my position and have to please so many people. Now we find who is responsible for this uprising and we shut them down." He surveyed the large crowd. He was pleased to see his cousin and Wukong backing him up.
The prince frowned when some citizens continued to yell at him. "Yes Demacia is strong, but we aren't invincible. Justice does not come free, we have to fight for it. There is more evil out there than we could ever imagine. We need to rally our alliances with Piltover, Bandle, and the League in order to stand up against it."
Jarvan attempted to intimidate the apologizing priest by sticking his chest out and walking very close to him. "So you are the one responsible for this panic? Tell me priest, do you know the nature of the Void? Do you know how much good it does? You say you didn't know they would begin to speak of the void, but Demacians don't come up with radical ideas like this on their own. I am only going to ask you this one time priest, are you telling me the truth? If I asked these people where they got the idea for the Void, would they say it came from you?" The incredibly tall prince towered over the priest. Anyone who doesn't have amazing courage would cower down.

Shyvana acknowledged Vincent. She turned to him and stated, "Sir Skywatcher. At ease. We have more than enough men dismembering the dead.. I'd rather have more prepared hands in the event that another strike occurs." She inclined her gaze toward Gillam who convinced the Half Dragon that he was not content about his strained efforts in saving Marabelle. Shyvana nodded, and offered more reassuring words to the Monkey King's. "...The Prince knows you did everything you could.. Gillam, was it? Do not burden yourself over something beyond your power. It'll only hinder you. I am positive Lady Marabelle can hold her own. It's only a matter of time until we act. Do not show your weakness."
Her hotheaded demeanor subsided, Shyvana averted her eyes past Sir Dunwall's shoulder and recognized a familiar, troubled face, one she hadn't seen in what seemed like... ages. The young man's timid disposition urged her to ask, "...have we met before sold-" She was startled. ...CIA IS FALTERING. ...AN'T YOU SEE THE DAMAGES, LOOK AROUND Y... Various, concerning shouts could be heard from the direction of the church. Shyvana turned her body until it faced toward the desired direction. Cordellia was no longer with them. "J-Jarvan.."
The Half Dragon jogged past the group, around Lucas and past Poppy, fueled by emotions, across the trodden battlefield. The Prince stood amongst the rabble, accompanied by Lady Spiritmight and Wukong. W-Wukong...? His clone..? Recalling various battles in the Field of Justice. Shyvana gave a reassuring pat on the shoulder to label her presence. She stood tall beside her allies.

Lucas blushed as Shyvana asked her whether they'd met. He was about to answer her when she suddenly went to the church. His fear of retribution dissapeared in profesionalism, since he recognised that something was out of the ordinary.
"Damnit, I KNEW IT! Should've taken my shield. Well, can't be helped I guess. Whatever she noticed, it's not good"
His armanents dissapeared in his cloak as he followed her to the church, pulling the cloak shut. Churches didn't have a lot of combatants after all, and something told him they'd need someone more light-handed.
Inside the church; he decided to make the most of his mourning cloak by walking to a shadow and pretending to do nothing more than pray while fragments of the conflict informed him of the problem. How did a void-preacher get in here?

The priest watched as Jarvan came towards him, shriveling up in fear of the hulking soldier. Sure, he could probably just corrupt Jarvan's mind and kill him on the spot, though that would involve in his death. He just quaked in fear as he looked up at him, then to all the other Demacian soldiers who had suddenly appeared. "I... Umm... U-Uh..." He was cowering in so much fear that he couldn't even give an answer, falling to the ground as he scooted away. The people made a gap for him to gain distance from him, all of them bowing their heads in fear of the prince.
Then, like a match being lit and the tip being lit aflame with rebellion and Void taint, came a small piece of rubble flying at Jarvan. It bounced off him like it was nothing, but the small "chink!" could be heard all across Demacia. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!" A man shouted. The citizens turned to look at the man who finally mustered the courage to glare at his OWN future ruler. Then they all slowly turned their heads, fury boiling inside them once more as their matches seemed to lit one by one by one like a wave. "YEA, DON'T HURT HIM!" One shouted as she raised her fist in the air. "HE WANTS TO GIVE US STRENGTH!" Another shouted out loud as the man stared angrily. "I'M WITH HIM!" "ME TOO!" "WE ARE TOO!" What seemed to be matches of fury soon to fall on top of each other, making small matches group together to make a fire. They began to raise their fists in the air as they got around the priest, as he crawled around the crowd so that he could get away quietly. He looked around for a moment. He needed to find the back, and once he did he smiled as he began to crawl on all fours.
Meanwhile the other people began to converge on them, some twisted look in their minds. It was quite clear that Malzahar's influence was beginning to show as they got closer and closer to the group with their gaze.

XenoS watched as more from the group before began to converge with the group. Oh good, they may need them. He looked at Wukong, unaware if it was his clone or not. "Good to see you." He said as he watched more of the group from before close in on the church. He watched as the priest cowered in fear. The more he stepped away the more he couldn't help but walk to him. He's seen this pose of fear and submission before. He's seen every time he was about to end off someone's life... But this didn't seem right. He has seen the look of fear TOO many times to know if this was truly genuine or not.
Then he saw the rock being flung at the Prince... This wasn't good... He listened to the familiar sound of object clashing against metal, almost like a clang that was heard around Runeterra. "Oh shit..." He muttered as he watched them begin to shout and raise their fists in rebellion. He reached for his back as he took out his two katanas, looking around for the priest. "I lost sight of him... Can't find him through these damned people." He said as he turned to Jarvan. "If any of them start attacking, am I allowed to go lethal?" He asked as he held out his swords in front of him to keep off any people narrowing on the prince. "Because it MAY be needed."
Jarvan had to think fast as the priest was swallowed by the angry mob. He stood his ground as a piece of rubble bounced off of his chest plate. It made a distinct ding as it bounced off his chest and hit the ground in front of him. If anything, the rubble simply scratched his armor, he didn't even feel it. But it was the meaning behind this that struck Jarvan. The people were rebelling, and he needed to do something about it.
Jarvan frowned as Xenos talked about using lethal force against the citizens. "No, that will only start a massacre. These people are sick and need help."
The prince sighed as the citizens began to shout at him. He spoke to the group just loud enough so that they could hear, but the angry mob could not. "These citizens will not listen to reason, we must separate them from that priest. Find him and bring him to the dungeons, now. Shyvana Cordellia, I need your strength for this. Stand shoulder to shoulder with me in case this goes South. Xenos, cloak out and see if you can sneak up on that priest and grab him. If they attack, use means to disarm or knockout if absolutely necessary. Do not kill, or severely injure any of these people. We may need to quarantine them so that they can't spread this taint to the rest of the citizens."

Shyvana heard the masses lash out. From swears, to plain complaints, the citizens were restless. She listened to Jarvan attempt to reason with the imminent riot. He began to run out of options as the crowd rose above his voice. The Half Dragon heard his orders, she then nodded in response; also giving Cordellia a similar nod. Shyvana braced herself beside her savior. She panned her head around to calculate their odds against this group. She thought: "We're outnumbered... no lethal force is to be used... let's hope that doesn't have to change." "Swiftly, Metal man." signaling XenoS with her head, forward.

Hearing shouting and talk about the Void, Poppy sighs and walks up to rejoin the group of her allies near the civilians. She looks at the troublemakers with her usual imposing and determined gaze.
"What is this nonsense abut the Void I hear? Do you all want to become like that fool of a "Prophet", Malzahar? A puppet of the Void, nothing but a soulless husk for them to utilize?
You do realize that only one person ever has survived the Void's touch without becoming insane and under their control, and even he was changed irreversably and is haunted by the horrors he saw? If you wish to be fools and throw your life away by trying to utilize the Void, you will become part of the ravenous, merciless horde that will stop at nothing to end all life.
Who is the genius who thought of this idea? Who is the one trying to lead you all to your doom? Who is the damn fool trying to make you into beings that will slaughter their loved ones without a second thought or remorse? Do you even KNOW who he is?"
Despite the injury to her left hand, making it unusable, Poppy seems rather imposing with Whomper in her right hand leaning against her shoulder as if it's weight meant nothing to the yordle.

XenoS looked up at Jarvan with a nod. "I'll try and catch up to him. Not sure if I can to him fast through this crowd though." He said. Plus there was the fact that this priest may be a Void follower, and he never really did well with magic... At all... Though he would have to brave through this one, he had a job to do after this and he wanted to get paid for it too. XenoS looked back at Shyvana, his red visors staring into her with a nod. "Good luck." He said as he turned his cloak on. Bits of him began to become transparent, as it spread throughout him like a disease spreading through the person in bits and jagged waves. Then, he was gone.
However, a man had grabbed hold of his horn mid transformation, and then he looked forward to see him grabbing nothing. "What the-" "You little..." He grunted before the man looked up sharply, almost as if he just took an uppercut to the chin. The man cried out as he fell back into the crowd, in which they only grabbed him and then turned angrily to the prince. People were jolted off to the left and right, a signal that XenoS was already on the hunt for the priest.
