April 15th
Warwick felt a wave of nostalgia as he looked over the land of Ionia. In this land he had gained his claim to fame...or infamy. He has been ruthless in his hunting here during the war, partially to supply his partner Singed with the subjects he needed, partially to fulfil his own desire to do so.
His travel companion had been focused on there task since they had left Noxus. Warwick was pretty sure this had been the only thing Rengar had thought about the entire trip here. The Pridestalker had told him of his encounter with the Voidreaver and of it's strengths and weaknesses. It seemed the only thing they had talked about was the Voidreaver.
Warwick knew what it was like to be obsessed over a target. The Starchild had always eluded him since his first failure to capture her. Knowing he would be so close to her set his blood on fire. But he knew it was out of his hands. The Jester would have to do his work if he was to get her heart.
Swain had made sure that Singed gave him an extra dose of his stabilizing formula so he wouldn't kill Kha'Zix during the hunt. This hunt would prove to be his most difficult. He wasn't chasing against weak humans. He was after a killer, a true hunter like him.
They unlikely duo arrived in Ionia in Zed's territory. Swain had struck an alliance with the Order of Shadows a few weeks ago. Warwick was glad to be in somewhat friendly territory. The Master of Shadows didn't hate him as much as the rest of Ionia did.
From here he would let the Pridestalker lead. The plan was for Rengar to lead the beast out, while Warwick hid his presence. The two of them would then surprise the creature and take it down together.

Zed watched as Rengar and Warwick arrived on his land. Glowing blood red eyes scanned over them, a certain hostility present against Warwick. No matter his allies, Zed did not like Warwick but he did not hate him either. The scars upon Ionia left by this "man" were deep and no matter the allegiance, he would never be truly welcome here. Both Noxians and Ionians bustled about, patrols, supplies, both in their respective armors. Parts of the forest had been cleared to make room and additional buildings. The entire area was of Ionian influence, but there were places that now seemed to be taking on the Noxian industrial look.
The docks were simple, nothing more than wood and scattered gear. They were still being made proper, Zed planned for his alliance with Noxus to be long if not permanent. As such the docks were growing to accommodate trade and troops. Zed marched his way up to greet the hunters, "Gentlemen, you know what to do. There is only one sentient being in this land you are allowed to attack, his blood will be the only blood you spill. Our situation is already a fragile one so I do not want any complications."
Shadow people follow him everywhere he goes. Looking over his shoulder, the paranoia flows.
Rengar released a deap growl. "The being is the only object we have our sites on, we will collect our prize and be gone." The Pridestalker said bluntly. He moved off to find a place where he and his hunting partner may begin their hunt.
At last the Voidreaver had returned to this fragile world. Thought banished by the summoner's magic he in fact was not so easy too remove from this world. Especially not when the cracks that separate their worlds remain unfixed.
One such splinter stretched deep into the ionian forests disrupting the peaceful wildlife with an Ethereal crack. A violet line that hung in the air as if it lay on an invisible wall. Expanding larger as beings of unimaginable strength strained to widen the hole. As it did bolts of energy arced outwards, striking at whatever was nearest and burning it with the energy from a different world. Birds and animals quickly fled the area or else suffer from the alien portal.
Now complete a lone creature stepped through the purple membrane. With its crimson carapace, violet claws and grey spikes. Kha'Zix took a deep breath.
"Ah, It's good to be back."
Behind him the portal collapsed once more until it was only a crack again. As the voidreaver carapace would shift to a variety of brown and greens before running of into the forest.

Warwick internally smiled at Zed's hateful glare. Even the most cold hearted and ruthless Ionians still held such hatred for him. But he knew not to bring up such topics to the Master of Shadows. He would not only tempt his wrath, but the Grand Generals as well.
He responded to Zed's offer with a nod, understanding his rules. He followed after his partner into the forest. As the two entered, the tracking devices that Swain had supplied suddenly sprang to life, detecting the large amount of Void energy given off by Kha'Zix return to Valoran.
"So the hunt begins..." he growled, his voice filled with excitement. "Lead on Pridestalker, your prey awaits us."
Rengar already sensed the desterbince before the equipment detected it, he had grown quite fond of the smell of Void. He took off running before Warwick could even finish his sentence, he wasn't about to let his prey go when it was this close and had nowhere to run.

Warwick snarled at Rengar's lack of co-operation. If they were to take the Voidreaver alive, they would have to work together. He chased after the leonin hunter into the woods. This was likely to be a great hunt, attracting attention from many people.
The days passed quite quickly. No matter how long they moved, the trail just continued to go on and on. Warwick's patience began to grow thin. Rengar made for poor company, soley focused on finding his nemisis.
After quite some time of running Rengar had found the location of the Void tear, he watched it closely over the ridge while his other senses worked on detecting the void being Kha'Zix. "hrm... he is here." Rengar growled to his hunting partner as he arrived. "he has gone this way!" The Pridestalker announced taking off once more in the direction he had detected Kha'Zix scent.

Where was he going? Not even the Voidreaver knew, not exactly. At first it was just into the forest, away from his entry point, its energy drowned out the one he was meant to follow. The one that drew him threw the jungle. Like a carrot on a stick there was no sense of distance, just direction. Every ridge, hill or clearing he thought it might be there but still it was further.
Why was he going this way? because he needed to. Why did he need to? It isn't for a meal like normal, it resembles too much of 'home'. No... its something bigger, he had been stuck on a railroad and he hadn't even noticed. That is until now.
Rage built up inside him, had he become so susceptible? He might be the top predator of this world but in his homeland he is nothing more than a puppet! With a screeching shout of rage he stopped in his tracks. The carrot still tugging his mind forwards, but his legs remained still, straining to resist its alluring lie.
"I answer to no one, I will become perfect, I am Kha'Zix, remember my name for you will become part of it." The words hung dryly, un-moving as if no ear had taken them up.
One talon moved forwards shakily taking its place on the ground, the other followed suit more confident than the other. "But for now, I think I will have this meal."
Perhaps being back in Runeterra is better, for the time being at least.

Warwick ran after the Pridestalker, trying to not lose sight of him. Rengar's experiences with Kha'Zix must have attuned his senses towards the Void creature, for he couldn't detect any presence at all. Only the device Swain had given him showed him where the Void energy came from and where it was going.
He hadn't picked up any followers yet. More people coming onto the Voidreaver's trail would make this hunt very interesting.
A most unusual follower might well have appeared. She didn't seem to be on any specific trail however, as she moved through the trees with a rather graceful motion. It was as close to the sky as she could manage without taking up her airship, but she needed to stay semi-close to the ground should she be summoned back to the Temple... As much as she dreaded the idea of it.
A tiny origami crane sat atop her shoulder as she moved along, ducking and skirting its way into the edge of her top to save itself from any unsuspecting branches that might have otherwise sent it flying off. Sky seemed to take notice, muttering a little apology as she went along.
"Where to?" She questioned, "Can't be far.. Swear I saw a stream nearby here." Smirking to her little friend, her light frame would balance along a longer branch before jumping into the next tree. A hint of movement caught her attention, causing her to stop and watch quietly for a moment.
(Giving you guys the chance to notice her. Whoever notices her first is who she's seeing.))
The humans, an arrogant race of warm blooded, soft skinned creatures that attempt to stand against the void, a foolish endeavor of course, but made sweet by their delicious flesh.
Muscles and tendons for texture, blood and veins to keep it moist, soft organs that add a variety of flavors; the bones that are like treats in themselves, a tough shell filled with a flavorsome interior. Especially the one in the head, the skull, filled with the most important part of a human meal, the brain. This is what the humans have over their prey, its larger in them than any other animal he has eaten, with everyone he can feel it contribute to his form, More cunning, intelligent. Adaptable.
The thought of feasting on human flesh once more brought saliva to his mouth, building up and spilling over his lower jaw. *Drip* Though very quiet it was all that was required to snap him back from fantasy. A tiny bit had fallen to the forest floor the purple liquid clung to a dead leaf but it was of no concern to Kha'Zix.
The human was looking at him, had it seen him? No he didn't think so, it wasn't moving. Eyes fixed on his prey he ducked low to try and get out of sight. His claws brightened, as void energy began to imbue them with a static charge.
Rengar continued on his hunt for Kha'Zix, but another smell filled the air. There was a human nearby and with the amount of void stench Kha'Zix gave off it was almost too easy to tell that they were almost right on top of each other. Rengar released a deep growl that seemed to shake the forest with unrest, the thrill of the hunt was on and the eerie silence that fallowed announced Rengar's presence in full. Kha'Zix finally came into view and there was a human in the trees watching the beast. Rengar surveyed his options, it would be difficult taking the Void Reaver unharmed and his hatred for the creature only made it more difficult.

Warwick surveyed the situation and held the Pridestalker back.
He then spoke quietly to him, so neither the human or Voidreaver would hear them. "Let her bait him out. And while he is pre-occupied with her, we strike."
Sky leaned down along the branch, careful so that she might be able to easily dart away should she need to. She fell silent, not realizing the predator she was watching was also watching her. Her fingers pinched around an origami critter in her cheongsam, waiting patiently for something to happen. Perhaps she could play a little trick on whatever it was.
Of course, that could also be bad. But if she survived, it'd be funny!
