28th March 23CLE
Amelia opened her eyes, her red iris' dancing about as they looked upon the stars of the night sky. She barely noticed the cold mountain air as it bit into her soft pale skin. She was confused... How had she got here?
The teenage girl attempted to sit up, sharp stabbing pain tearing down her spine causing her to cry out before crumpling back to the solid rocky floor she had awoken upon. She curled up clutching herself, confusion blurring her thoughts as memories surfaced within her mind.
A dark tin warehouse... Her father?... A crowd of various scientists.... And then blank? No... She saw crimson, a deep need to sate an insatiable hunger, to... To consume the world.
Her iris' change to a deep purple, anyone capable would sense a massive flux of void energy around the Ironspike Mountains... It seemed to be radiation from the girl in great pulsating waves.

And there was that feeling again. Kassadin closed his eyes, trying to locate the source of that which troubled him. The rippling waves of void energy washed over him, seemingly coming from... the north? North east, rather. Kassadin clenched his fists as purple lightning crashed over him, teleporting him a few miles in that direction.
The feeling was now undoubtly stronger, and originated somewhere along the Ironspike Mountains. The Voidwalker cast his gaze up into the night sky, where rippling waves of purple flowed freely. Purple energy emanated from him once more, and he disappeared, teleporting right under the waves' origin.
A flash of purple light seemed to splice reality apart, only for Kassadin to stride through. He emerged prepared, nether blade ready to strike and hands blazing with purple energy. The energy was large enough for one of Malzahar's portals, so he expected to find him, or perhaps a small advance of voidlings. Instead, he found a bizarre girl, with small bulges on her shoulders and lower back.
Kassadin straightened his back, adopting a more formal pose, but didn't lower his weapon. The girl seemed to have no intentions of combat, but one could never be too sure. His breathing stopped, making way for his otherwordly voice. Who or what are you?

Amelia looked up at the figure before her, the alien thoughts surfaced again sending spikes of pain into her mind as she struggled with them, trying to force them away, suppress them.
"I-I'm..." She looked at her hands, agony racking through her nerves as she fought against the urge to rip at the man before her, "Amelia...." She looks up to him, the alien thoughts screaming to run or kill him, her voice strained and weak, "Help me?"
She let out another cry of pain, her eyes flashing dark purple once more the skin upon her hands solidifying and changing black, her fingers turning to sharp claws, the bulges upon her back moving slightly.

The call for help was disorientating at first, but this process was not unfamiliar to him. The void was trying to break into her, to corrupt her - he knew it all too well.
You must resist!, yelled Kassadin. The alien echo of his voice resonated across the plateau. If you submit, your mind will no longer be your own. His voice was loud, but he had to ensure she could hear him over the Void's cries.
Kassadin flexed his knees and prepared his nether blade. Attacking of the girl was not his intention, but if she proved to be unable to control the darkness within her, she would be yet another pawn in Malzahar's army; and Kassadin would not let the Void have another soldier.

Amelia's eyes rolled to the back of her head, her left hand clutched her head, the black sharp fingertip dug into her flesh, splitting the skin slightly causing blood to trickle down the side of her head, the pain was nothing compared to the sharp agonizing needle like feeling stabbing into her head. Her right hand slammed into ground, the black sharp fingertips easily breaking the rock causing small cracks to splinter outwards.
"I--- Argh!" She seemed to be on even ground with the fight against the alien thoughts currently trying to take over, neither one seeming to give ground.
She heard his echoing voice, it held the same alien taint as the thoughts currently trying to consume her mind, yet the void's corruption seemed to withdraw from Kassadin's voice as if afraid. Amelia lets out a shuddering breath, a cold sweat broke out upon her brow as she fought to rein in control of her mind.
The thoughts continued to recede from her mind, her eyes focused upon Kassadin, the purple tint of her iris' returning to their usual red. The black exoskeleton like plating on her hands fades back to the normal pale fleshy color. Breathing heavily Amelia looked to Kassadin, fear and pain showed clearly in her eyes,
"I... I... Need..." She swallows taking in a deep breath, collapsing into the rock, "Help.."
It seemed she had won her first fight against the void...

Kassadin approached the girl and kneeled near her. The yellow, glowing eyes of his mask carefully examined her morphology, trying to trace any sources of corruption. One thing was clear - the void within her hadn't come naturally. Someone had forced it on her, infused her with darkness.
The Voidwalker would take a few steps back and sit on the ground, waiting for her awakening. He couldn't leave her like this - untrained, unprepared, at the void's mercy. The plateau they found themselves in was flat and had enough space, so it would serve as a good training ground.
His eyes never left her body, in case the void found a way to take over her.

As Kassadin studied her, he would sense that the void tissue had been implanted within mechanical augmentations only to end up fusing with the humanoid tissue around where it had been implanted. The void tissue itself was trying to consume the human flesh, it was only being held back by her sheer will. The augments themselves were completely corrupted by the void, causing them to activate when the void tried to take over.
Amelia groaned her now human hand clenching the ground, pain racked through her body stemming mainly from her arms and webbing out across her back. She sat up, her vision somewhat blurry only to double over, quickly pulling the zipper down from her face only to empty the contents of her stomach onto the rocky ground. Slick vile purple void tainted stomach acids erupted from her mouth, hitting the ground quick a sickening splatter followed by the sound of the ground itself sizzling slightly. Her lower jaw shudders, the tissue her tongue feeling as though it were on fire she cried out in pain. She looks to Kassadin, her mouth looking horribly red and blistered from the corrupted bile burning after she spewed it out.
She winces, the red blistered skin slowly fading as her void infused body worked quickly to repair the damage. She stared at Kassadin, fear showing clearly in her eyes, "W-what am I?" She cringes as her tongue hadn't properly healed yet and still burned with needle like pain.

All I know is that someone infused you with malevolent nether energies. To what purpose, I do not know. Kassadin stood up and turned his gaze towards the looming horizon. What you are remains to be seen - will you become a mindless abomination, devoid of will and purpose? Or will you stand up and fight against the corruption?
The Voidwalker's eyes scrutinized the corruption. If he had felt her aura from such a distance, then others may have too. Only time will tell.

Amelia shuddered, her wide ruby eyes stared at Kassadin, fear showed clearly yet there was also determination, "I-I'll fight..." She had been used by her father for experiments and an outlet for his violent rage. She decided she wouldn't be used anymore. If this... Corruption, sought to simply use her... She would fight it. "I'll fight it."

Kassadin turned around, laying his glowing, yellow eyes on the girl. He clenched his hand and his netherblade disappeared into his bracer with a "fwoosh". Good. Valoran needs allies that understand the dangers of the void. I am sure you will prove to be a valuable one. The voidwalker turned towards the dark horizon once more, scrutinizing it. He could feel his influence, his power...

Kassadin could sense him. He was approaching the two, Kass could most likely sense his presence coming closer, and closer, and closer. Then, he was there. He walked along the path up the mountain, curiously looking around for the girl. "Hello?? Is anyone there?? Helloooo!" He shouted. Could he just tear a portal and grab the girl? Yes, he could, but needed to act smart. He needed to play himself off as the good guy here in front of Kassadin if he wanted to get the girl to follow him.
He looked to see her, a smile forming behind his cowl. "Ah, hello there frien-" His eyes widening in fear and panic. His hands were put out in front of him. "Come to us girl, quick! Get away from him, QUICKLY! He'll kill you, run!!" He said as he too stepped back away from him, his face painted with a well crafted mask of fear.

Amelia looked up, startled by the sudden cheery voice of Malzahar, at once his presence seemed to awaken the void within her. Her iris' flashed from their usual deep red to a dark purple, Amelia let out a quiet grunt of pain as her hand shot up to her head clutching the side of her skull as the void side tried to break through. She was fighting against it with all she had, the alien thoughts screaming at her to go towards what it was calling, 'The Prophet'.
Amelia muttered, "No... No..." The dark purple faded from her eyes as she looked to Kassadin with a confused expression, "What's he talking about?"

Kassadin pointed his blade at Malzahar as his unearthly voice boomed out of his respirator, filled with anger. His head turned to the side, keeping one eye on the Prophet and another on Amelia. Listen not to his lies, girl. He is a puppet of the nether, devoid of purpose and will. His words try to lure you into his web of corruption.
His left hand clenched into a fist that quickly became surrounded by purple energies. Prepare yourself, for if he is unable to decieve you, he'll most certainly attempt to subdue you.

Malzahar looks down at Kog'Maw putting a hand onto his head to calm him. "Easy Kog'Maw... Easy. We're better than him than to harm newcomers." He said as he looked back at Kassadin. "We are NOT corrupted!" He said as he walked forward a step. "We're here to help her. It would bring her worse pain and suffering to have her suppress herself." He said, then pointing a finger at him. "And what are you going to do if she decides on her OWN will to have her unlock her true potential? Are you just going to KILL her like the others?! Kill the ones who wish not to be oppressed and limited to what they can do?!" He said before looking at Amelia. "Come to us girl. We'll keep you safe from those who wish you dead."
