Rin was listening intently to Caitlyn and Garth, then Caitlyn to Rammus. She felt a little sorry suddenly when she heard about Rammus going to a boy's birthday. She was about to apologize for being angry at Rammus when Heimer picked up a peculiar object that she recognized. This particular gem mechanic was a piece from her glider that he had given to her. Her ears perked at his initial reaction.
"Heimy, what's wrong? I told you a lot got shredded in here. We have a lot to fix. I'm sorry some of your items got damaged that you gave me..."
She examined the object again, suddenly worried. It was a long time ago he gave this to her, and she slowly began to remember the importance of it.
"Heim.. wait is that..."
Her ears sank as her heart did. Suddenly, she too felt a wave of emotion, but not anger like Heimer did; her emotion was worry and panic. He had asked her to look after this object if she was going to use it to help power her glider. And she did.. very closely. But being attacked in her own home was another new level. She remember she fell asleep with it on her person. How did it get kicked off? Then memory sank back in. She had to blow back Rammus with her glider. She must have dropped it during impact.
She shuffled slowly to her beckoning teacher, quickly thinking of ideas of what to say.
"Heim.. Heimy I'm sorry I was looking after it I promise and..."

Heimerdinger looked upon his assistant's explanation, to which he simply shook his head and brought up a hand to motion her that it was okay.
"Rin... do not be sorry..."
"...I should be sorry for having not safeguarded this crystal until much later. It was meant to be a final adding piece to complete your design, but in my absent-minded thinking I thought completion could be accelerated by having this attached earlier."
"Now, the damage to it is irreparable, and I do not believe there is a suitable replacement, as this particular crystal is very rare; I will look to find a substitute, but for now... I can only hope you accept my apologies for being so foolish and putting such an important device into a situation that, while is incredibly rare to occur, has resulted in it's loss."
((Was waiting to see if more replies. ONWARD, SAYS THE YORDLE!))
Rin shook her head and smiled. All though she was sad, it still felt okay that he was on the same page. She really did look up to her mentor.
"It's okay... we'll find a replacement. It did work great, though! I completely deflected Rammus! My only issue was posture, as I was caught off guard, so the glider got shredded a bit..."
Rin's grin widened until her ears shot up in excitement .
"Does that mean we get to test more?! We can find a substitute! I'll make this glider even BETTER than before!"

Heimerdinger's eye gave a small glint, with a knowing smile; hearing Rin's response was enough to tell him that all would go well.
"That might very well be the case, Rin... ah-he-he-he," he chuckled at the end, positive that what was broken could be repaired. Then his face turned more serious -though it would only be noticeable to Rin - and spoke in a voice that only Rin could hear.
"And, one other thing. There is a matter I would like for you to be informed of... and participate in, if you would so kindly. It cannot be discussed here, however; see me in my office this Friday if possible, and I will explain there."
"The importance of the secrecy of this meeting cannot be stressed enough; the matters here are connected to the Prime Minister himself, and he has come to recognize your capability to contribute. So come, but do not inform anyone of this future meeting. Okay?" He said this with a slight nod, as if to ensure that what the Inventor had said would convey to his assistant.

Fizz looks around. Rammus was being questioned by the Sheriff and her assistant, Rin and Heimer were busy with their mechanical mumbo-jumbo. Well, now'd be a good chance to just get out, but that'd make it seem like he'd had a hand in this after all.
So uhh... do I need to stick 'round for some reason, or can I be on my way? I gotta get back home to Bilgewater before they get used to havin' nothin' but fights to worry 'bout. Cait, Rin, anyone? Anythin' I'm needed for over here?

Caitlyn turned next to Fizz, waving with her hand for dismissal. "Yes, you can leave now. However, try not to cause any troubles or I'm gonna get you."
Caitlyn then turned to Heimerdinger while waving for Garth to come close. "Yes, sorry for that. What is it you wanted to tell me Heimerdinger? I imagine something of importance was lost here no? Whatever the case it though, I'm sure we can sort this out peacefully... I hope at least."
Those that cause crime in Piltover, beware. I shall hunt you down and end you, one way or another. You can come with me to the station, or you can have a bullet between your eyes.

Garth was taking detailed notes of what was being said, even Heimerdinger's message to his assistant, but he made a note that it was a private matter that most likely would not effect the case at all. One of the times he looked up, he noticed Caitlyn waving for him the come closer.
The curious and eager detective in training quickly moved over to his mentor's side, his notepad still in hand to take notes with whatever, important matter Caitlyn and Heimerdinger had to discuss.
Zaun science is killing far more than its saving. I want to put a stop to that!
Rin looked at Heimer eye-level. He was unusually serious. She nodded slowly to him in acknowledgement, though still unsure what was going on. Her? Recognized? What on earth could she do, and for what reason would the PRIME MINISTER himself be calling upon her for?
She only broke eye contact when Fizz spoke up. Rin turned to Fizz, walked over to him, and gave him the most unusually announced hug.
"Well, if you go, nice meeting you fishy fish. Sorry I blamed you. And please don't pull a prank on me. Next time, I might have my glider fixed, and I betcha I can catcha!" She giggled as she let him go.
Rin then looked up at the two humans collaborating with her mentor. "Should I leave for this, or stay for council with Caitlyn?"
((Also, should I go to another board to talk about this? IM ALL EXCITED WHAT DID I DO ))

Fizz tilts his head and looks at Rin with a curious look, chuckling a bit.
Well, that'll depend on if I'll think of somethin' that would be appropriate to pull off over here. And if I'll feel like it, you've been through a lot lately, so it'd not be that fun to ruin yer life even more ya know.
He sweeps up the wide-brim hat he came in with from the floor with his trident and drops it on Rin's head, the brim covering most of her vision.
He then walks on out of the hangar with a chuckle, grinning as he heads towards the outer edge of the the City of Progress.
Rin attempted to look up and wave goodbye, but the weight of the hat only covered her eyes more. She laughed slightly before finally pulling the brim up and waving merrily at the Trickster as he left. What a weird day... and now she has a hat? Though she'll have to clean it... it smelt awfully fishy.
She turned back to Heimer, her ears perking awkwardly under the hat.
