Deep in the Northern forest where Udyr often resided, a travelling monkey made his way through the seemingly endless forests. Mid-day, the sun was high and the sky splotched with clouds here and there. It was quite a nice day! Perfect for wandering!
The sole monkey had his trusty staff with him, swinging it about his form as he went before settling it across his shoulder. He had the typical bounce in his step, never seeming worried, angry or sad. It simply wasn't like him to do so! Days like this were always a blessing, even if he didn't really see it that way. But there was an unquestionable serenity in the forest this day - a feeling of calm that the monkey sensed.
The songs of the many creatures in forests reminded him a bit of home back in the Plague Jungle, where his many monkey friends worshiped him as they had the stone he was born from. He recalls the elders words fondly, talking of the world they had only dreamed. It made him smile a little more as he always had new stories to tell them when he returned home.
Why was he here? No reason! Wukong was free to do whatever he wished, wherever he wished to do it. Nothing could hold the monkey back from that. Though he knew he was in Udyr's territory.
