Ever had that feeling that you have no one to go to after losing what was the most precious thing to you? Have you ever felt that it was painful, yet honorable to have what used to belong to the one you loved so much? You are walking down the streets, alleys, woods, forests, and plains, filled with anger and rage that breathe and come to life inside of your heart and people are avoiding you like the plague because you have that terrible and menacing glare when you look at someone. You talk to them with a cold voice, show them no emotion, yet deep down inside, you still have light, hope and beauty, but you forgot how to show it, you forgot how to smile and show your happiness to the world. You are nothing but a living shell, hiding your emotions from the outside world because you just don't know how to feel anymore.

A dark veil has been cast upon the lands of Ionia as the night rose up from the horizon. The moon did not attend the meeting along with the stars, thus keeping the lands plunged in darkness. It was a cold night, the wind was racing through the open plain and screeched in Laufeia's ears as she tried to get some rest beside a lonely tree in the middle of the plain. Her body was shivering, she was constantly sneezing and trying to keep herself warm with whatever she had available. It was going to be a long night.
Whispers echoed in her mind, she could hear different voices trying to reach for her in her mind as she closed her eyes and tried to ignore them to finally be able to sleep. But alas, the voices grew louder and louder until suddenly... an image appeared in her mind, a whole scene. The sound of the wind slowly faded away as a more peaceful melody came to appease Laufeia's soul. It appeared that she was sitting by a river, gazing upon the beauty of nature and watching the other kids play around in the garden that was across the river. A smile curved on her lips for the first time in so long as she admired the beautiful scenery that was put up on display.
She heard a familiar voice coming from her left and turned her head in the direction of the source. A tall man, bearing white hair and blue eyes, seemed to be enjoying a conversation with an older man who was wearing the usual villager outfit. Laufeia took a closer look upon the figure until she noticed that it was him, her father! Happiness and joy spread in her heart as she stood up and began to run towards her father, laughing and smiling while her arms widely opened up to hold her dear father.
But as she got closer to him, the blue sky suddenly started to fade away as a crimson veil began to eat bit by bit the blue curtain, devouring the sunshine that illuminated the lands, leaving nothing but a black dot in the bloody sky. But Laufeia didn't notice the change, she was too focused on her father before she saw that his figure was slowly fading away in a black mist while a demonic laughter roared around her as she tried to catch up with her dad. A loud thunder boomed in the skies as her father simply disappeared from her view, leaving nothing but a pile of bones just where he was standing.
"No matter how hard you try, no matter what you do, he won't come back..."
After she heard those words, another laughter resonated around her before she finally opened up her eyes and looked around her. It was all dark and the only thing Laufeia could see were the stars that were above her head, reminding her that even though her father is gone, he is still watching her and counting on her to do her best to restore her village's honor and to aid the people in its reconstruction.
