April the 20th, 23 CLE.
A land desolated, covered with a sheet of dark sand. It was an arid desert, dry and empty, hot and dead. There was no living being in the surroundings, not even an animal, not even a beast. The dark clouds that hovered above the lands followed the Vixen as she moved forward through the dead lands along with her two companion, holding tightly against her chest the device she took from Jayce.
The walk was long, her legs were trembling, begging her to stop and drop down on the ground to rest her frail muscles after such a journey. But her goals called for her, she had little time to waste when she knew that she was about to reach her objectives. It beckoned to her, mesmerizing her soul with all the promises that were offered to her, like a sweet melody that came to persuade her.
Ahri's heart was holding off the reason that lied in her thoughts, blinding her from the dark truth she was about to fall in and drag her friends along. Were Thomas and Kevin truly aware of what was awaiting them at Noxus?

Ahri's fellow feline eared companion followed close behind the champion. Though it was hot and dry in the desert they were currently trekking through, Kevin was wearing his black jacket, the hood up and over his head to cover and protect his ears from getting dirtied by the sand. Hot weather never really seemed to bother him, though under his clothes he could feel the full effect of the sun, strands of sweat running down his face. His strides slowed as he started to suffer the exhausting effects of walking without break. He spoke out to Ahri, hoping the journey would be over soon. "Are we almost there yet...?"
John had been trudging through the desert, not too far off from the group. He was wearing goggles over his eyes and a scarf covered the lower half of his face. His brown light coat trailed behind him, the lower half already getting some sand on it. This was one hell of a lonely trip, he thought to himself.
His feet continued to carry him forward, unfaltering. His gloved hand reached up and wiped off some of the dust from his goggles. Least he was used to walking around for endless amounts of times, so this could be worse in theory, right? ... Right!
Then he heard a voice... It was faint but he was pretty sure he heard something. He turned in the direction of the voice, and peered off into the distance, he was sure he could make out a small group, might as well see if they're the friendly type of course. If things go wrong it's not like he wasn't armed.... and out in the open. That could be interesting. He smirked and headed towards said group.

If one were to look at Thomas they would notice he didn't seem to be bothered by the desert heat, the young man was mostly talking to Lucas on the subject of Ahri's aura previously at Jayce's lab, something was up with her. But he couldn't decide whether to bring this up to Kevin or keep it a secret for now, after all his aura had lied to him before and it could be nothing... but on the small but very possible chance something is stirring within Ahri and changing her path Thomas would be very willing to stop her if it involved something chaotic. But for now he silently followed a short distance behind Ahri while quietly settling the debate of the subject with Lucas.
"We keep it to ourselves until we know 100% for sure that she's not right, got it pal? Then we tell Kevin and let him in on the plan." He spoke to the bird.
Lucas nodded and continued his whistling while the trio moved, Thomas now watching Ahri in thought hoping she wouldn't be making the wrong decision.

The wind was striking over the group as they kept crossing the empty desert, making their way to the Noxian wall that seemed to appear such a mirage in the distant horizon of the dead lands. Ahri was quite unsure what it was, maybe just an illusion from the intense hate that stroke the area, or it was truly a very big wall waiting for them to cut their road from Noxus.
Whatever it was, the Vixen kept moving forward relentlessly, eager to reach her destination that was beckoning to her. No obstacle would be able to get in her way, no human, no creature, not even an object such as the wall that began to show itself clearly as they approached it.
"We're almost there..." She said as she looked over her shoulder at the copycat mage and Thomas who seemed to be having a serious talk with Lucas, though she had no idea what it was about.

Kevin let out a sigh of relief when Ahri answered him. Their journey was finally coming to an end. After his companion looked back at him and Thomas, he decided to do the same. Looking back he saw the aura master talking to his bird. Curious, he slowed a bit until they were walking side by side. "Hey, we're almost there. What are you two talking about?" He gave a light smile to brighten the mood of the long journey.
John had gotten closer to the group and by now could make out who was among them. Two men, a bird and a woman. But it became pretty obvious that she was, wait those were tails... And she had what looked like... fox ears? ...Wait... The gears started clicking as he realized who it was. Course the question was what she was doing in Noxus, but the same could be said about himself. He grumbled a few choice words as the wind picked up, pulling his scarf tighter against his mouth and nose.
His feet carried him forward towards the group and in a friendly manner he waved a hand and spoke, a grin forming underneath the scarf.
"Hello, hello, what brings you to this..."
He peered around at the... so called "landscape". No he couldn't say anything nice about this place.
"Hell hole."
...Perfect. Summed it up nicely, all it needed was some crazy animals of some kind out for blood. It was then he realized the gigantic wall... That was new, last time they didn't have something of this caliber. More reasons to love this city-state, bet they stare at everyone with their beady eyes, saying. "What are you doing here you damn foreigners."
Either way, he was sure if he could insert himself with this group he could get in, and who knows it might even be fun, and who could say no to a face like that? Not his own... Hers. But on a serious note no one can say no to his either.

As Kevin called out to Thomas he didn't respond for a few seconds, maybe he was too deep in thought to take notice? Noticing this Lucas quickly pecked his friend on the forehead in an attempt to stir him, Thomas looking around surprised came to and tried to think of something till the stranger approached them
"Me and Lucas were talking about how much longer this guy planned on following us, and what to do about him, Sometimes we talk too much instead of just doing."
Wondering he could let someone get this close to them without his gift alerting him was pure laziness on his part, he'd have to be on guard in case this stranger turned out to be trouble. If he was Thomas was pretty sure he could take him down without the others getting involved, but still the bodyguard kept his focus with his eyes on the individual not speaking

Ahri observed the giant wall in awe as the group neared it. She had no idea that Noxus has built such wall and she didn't know either why it was there in the first place, however, as intimidating as it might look like, the Fox had no intention to turn back now.
Her feet's movements stopped as she listened closely to Thomas's and Kevin's conversation before noticing the mysterious man who approached them. Her amber gaze fixed the man, wondering where it has seen that face before. It was really familiar to her but she jut couldn't grasp the idea of where she had seen him, neither when and why. Nonetheless, it seemed that the Kumiho suddenly got an idea, another addition to the group that was following her would be even better for her at the moment.
Her luscious pink lips curved into a wide smile, her sweet, predator eyes gazed softly at him as she greeted him with her soft tuned voice.
"Why hello there... 'Stranger'~. Well before I answer your curiosity, why don't you answer mine and tell me what /you/ are doing here?"
John lowered his scarf and raised his goggles onto his head. He clapped his hands together and rubbed them, grinning widely as he enthusiastically replied.
"You see, I could tell you. But..."
He taps a finger on his chin in thought, should he really tell her? ...Eh... Why not. His index finger raises near his face as he continues.
"I'll explain anyway."
A hand reaches into his pocket and pulls out a paper, unfolding it. A picture of some gruff looking man shows up, the words "wanted, dead or alive" written on top.
"This fine gentleman here on the paper thought that running to Noxus would keep him safe, soooo... I'm going to prove him wrong, and also earn some nice money along the way."
He folds the paper up and puts it back into his pocket. He had realized that she was studying his face, as if trying to place where she might know him, course the garments on his face might have made that difficult so, he had decided to pull them away. His hand went up and wiped some of the dust and dirt from his face, in an attempt to get rid of any on the exposed parts of his face, almost like a tan line, except with dirt... This is probably another reason to add to the list of "Why deserts are complete crap."

Kevin looked at the poster, "A bounty hunter?" That isn't the type of person he wanted to be traveling with. Somebody who is desperate enough for money that they would resort to killing some one for it. Defiantly not the type of guy to have around while you're sleeping. He watched him remove his face wear before turning to Thomas in a whisper. "I don't trust this guy, do you think its a good idea for Ahri to just let him tag along with us?"
After a final glance at the man, he pulled his hood down to conceal him.

Thomas took a look at the paper and instantly disagreed, a bounty hunter traveling with a champion who stole souls? No doubt there would be bounties on her head for such an act, and to his knowledge from Piltover the league was done with matches until further notice giving bounty hunters an easier time finding champions off the fields for an easy profit.
"Not one bit. But if he turns out to be a threat that's when we take him out it's four against one, Just roll with it for now."

Ahri's gaze went through each of their face, reading the expressions they have shown throughout their eyes. The wind was slapping her face, carrying the sands of the hostile desert that scratched her soft cheeks before blowing her hair, filling it with yellow dust. The vixen remained quiet as she listened to her friends closely before turning her attention to the bounty hunter with a sly grin curving across her pink lips.
"It seems like my friends have a problem trusting you darling, and I have to say their thoughts are indeed influencing mine. I don't know if you should carry on, knowing that my head is quite expensive for some people who are seeking revenge for what I did... Are you someone to be trusted?"
The question was a bit unnecessary knowing that no bounty hunter could be trusted. These men are driven by the lust for money and blood wherever it is and Ahri isn't quite safe from these people. She threw a sharp gaze at the man but kept her charming smile across her face, waiting eagerly for an answer- she would judge him easily by his tone and the answer he'll give to her, however, whether it would suit her or not, she would have to remain cautious with such man.
John rubbed the back of his neck. He could already tell what was going on. He sighed and thought of how to go at this. It was then that a single speck of dust impacted his eye. His hands clenched and he grunted a curse, wincing as one hand came up to reflexively rub said eye. A few tears and bam! Good as new. He quickly brought the goggles back down having now regretting ever taking them off. Fuck this desert and its apparent hatred for him.
He wrapped his arms behind him and smiled as he now calmly answered.
"Oh no no no, I'm not really much of a bounty hunter, this is just a side thing. Understand there is a good reason I'm doing this and not just because some rich asshole got mad at someone for scuffing their shoes or some silliness. Long story short, he's the ringleader of some group who burned down a village not to far off from Piltover."
He frowns and stops, hesitant before continuing.
"I know someone from there..."
His frown quickly turns into a reassuring grin as he adds on.
"And don't worry yourself, I have no issues with you. But if you want some additional proof."
He glanced around nervously, making sure no one else was in the area before taking a step or two back. He reached into his cloak with one hand, while the other was held up a bit as if trying to reassure them he isn't about to pull any funny business. He then slowly pulls out the knife given to him by Irelia, with all its little workings and holds it out, edge down so she can see all the details and markings, staying silent. Part of him felt like even uttering her name here would suddenly call down every damn Noxian from a 100 mile radius... But he had to at least explain in some shape or form. He then sheathed it and leaned forward, replying in a hushed tone.
"I'm a student of Irelia, you can trust me."
He then stood up straight and gave her a friendly smile.
"Names John Cole. Might have seen me around Ionia once or twice I think."

((SHORT POST BECAUSE YOU BOTH ARE LAZY AND WONT DO IT))
"I dont know Irelia personally, but if he says he's a student of the Captain of the guard he can't be lying with that knife. He's good by me, for now anyways."
With that somewhat settled Thomas re-initiated their walk towards the Great Wall of Noxus while chatting once again with Lucas cheerfully.
"Do you think i'll be able to get Swain's autograph?" He asked his companion curiously. Lucas responds with a peck on his friends forehead "What? He's got a bird and is really strong, i've got you and i'm working on it... slowly! But working on it..." The pair go off into random conversations as they continue the walk...
