John kept up his position at the back of the group. His eyes shifted up to the wall, least they didn't have much longer to go. He still couldn't believe how fast that thing went up and how paranoid they must be to have spent so much on the damn thing. It was then he realized he was a bit thirsty, his hands went to his coat searching for his canteen. A grin showed up on his face as he found it, pulling it out and his scarf down. His hand went to work untwisting the cap and pulling it off, bringing the canteen filled with cool water up to his lips, taking a few quick sips.
"Aaaah."
He let out a satisfied sound as he brought the canteen back down and capped it, hiding it back in his coat. His hand moved up and wiped across his face, which was now being covered once again with the scarf. He looked around and shrugged deciding to start moving up towards the wall.

The number of patrols had been steadily increased as the nine-tailed fox and her group of companions approached noxian territory. A particular group of soldiers had already laid eyes on the strange group and walked towards the group at a steady pace.
Five armored guards would stand in a perfect line, preventing any further movement. A single small, hooded figure walked from behind the guards and approached the kumiho. "Greetings, champion Ahri. I assume you wish to cross the noxian border, yes?"

As Ahri was leading the way, she noticed the group of guards slowly approaching her and her friends as they faded in through the dusty veil, looking like shadows moving through the wind that bit her cheeks. They didn't seem quite friendly at all, mostly because of the sinister look that pierced her gaze and from the black armour that they wore with the Noxian emblem clearly shown on their chest plate.
But then, came out a hooded man, looking as mysterious as the soldiers themselves. However, the hood made it hard to see what was lurking in the mirror's of the man's soul, perhaps it was to avoid Ahri's power? Or maybe it was just his style... Humans can be strange. And she always wondered why people gathered up in such way, especially the guards whenever she set foot in any city-state beside her own where she is somewhat trusted by the people there. She cocked her head to the right, listening to the whispers of the wind once more before a soft melody ran out of her lips, carried by her voice as she spoke to the man in a polite tone.
"Why yes, I do wish to make my way to Noxus, unless you have a certain problem with my presence there."

The hooded man bowed before the Nine-Tailed Fox; perhaps out of courtesy, or maybe to prevent eye contact, one would not be abe to tell. "Oh no, madame - it's not that. Your pressence will not be troublesome at all." The summoner straightened his back and joined his sleeves in front of his chest. "However... entering Noxus takes a bit of... paperwork... nowadays." He quickly turned on his heels and made hand gestures to the five soldiers, who quickly positioned themselves around the group, like a protective pentagon. "If you would be so kind as to follow us..."

Thomas sighed to himself as the guards circled them and silently followed, hopefully they weren't walking into a trap or worse: an execution. Noticing Lucas had made it back to his shoulder he petted his companion on the head and spoke aloud casually, the message being directed the Lucas.
John arched an eyebrow as they were circled. His eyes glazed over the proceedings as he stood behind and to the right of Ahri. It was slightly off to him that the summoner paused when he said paperwork. But it could be just that said summoner hates paperwork. Which is understandable, he couldn't think of one person who got any type of excitement over that word.
But it was all probably nothing. Worse comes to worse, he just needs to stick close to the champion, she could definitely hold her own. He slowly blinked and followed alongside the group.

"Very well, I doubt it's that bad."
A hint of amusement lied in her voice as she followed the man steadily, however, she didn't really trust that summoner at all. But it didn't matter, so long as Ahri and her friends are okay. The Vixen looked over her shoulders as she gazed at Thomas, then back at the little blue bird perched on Thomas' shoulder. A sweet smile curved on her lips as her amber eyes briefly fixated the bird before she turned her attention to the soldiers that surrounded them.
Ahri was feeling slightly uncomfortable with the amount of men that were around her, not that she's not used to it, but she felt an unsettling aura emanating from them. They looked emotionless, void from any human-like feelings. Darkness seemed to be lurking in their heart as she gazed into one of the men's eyes. He was stone cold, his expression was neutral and he was more focused on what was in front of him rather than his surrounding. At first she thought that they were doing that on purpose, but as she kept gazing at him, she wondered if they were humans or not. Perhaps they were robots or any other type of life form that look alike the human beings?
Ahri looked back at the summoner and began to walk slightly faster towards him, while her feet dipped in the warm sand of the desert that invaded her ballerinas, causing her to jerk her leg a bit in an attempt to get rid of the sand. As soon as she was right behind him, she leaned in closer to him and asked him a simple question out of curiosity.
"These soldiers... are they human? They seem to lack what the rest of the humans have..."

The man's fingers joined in front of his chest, a sly smirk becoming visible from under his hood. "They may lack fear, but I can assure you they are human, madame. They are la créme de la créme of the Noxian military after all." The small group slowly approached the Wall - what once was a black line across the horizon was now clearly a gargantuan construction. A crooked finger came from under the Summoner's sleeve, pointing Ahri and her companions towards a wide porticullis. "That way, m'lady. Enjoy your stay."

Thomas went where the guard pointed and began playing a guessing game of sorts with Lucas.
"Who's blue and always told us no?" "Shen." "Nice one, who's green and told us maybe?" "Akali." "Who's purple and almost killed me when i tried to visit them?" "... Kennen?" "Nope, Syndra." "Well played Tom tom." "Thanks pal."
He had to come up with something else to relieve the boredom, so he began to devise another game while they walked to wherever they were going.
John whistled in amazement as they got closer, the wall looked big but he didn't expect something this imposing, wonder how they got that up and running so fast. His hand idly rubbed the side of his nose and forehead as his steps toward the wall continued, thinking about what to do when they arrived. Hopefully something to do with eating... And maybe sleeping, that would be just swell. He stretched his arms back and rested them in his pockets, his mind wandering idly.

As they approached the gigantic structure, Ahri continued to marsh forward while her astonished eyes gazed at the wall in awe. It was fearsome, intimidating, and a bit unsettling for the Vixen - She felt a bit unsafe here though she knew that nothing really bad could happen... right?
Ahri's eyes shifted from the monstrous wall to the little finger of the summoner that pointed at the entrance; She looked back at her friends then at the summoner before going to the designated location, slowly treading on her light feet.
She didn't know what was behind it, nor did she know what sort of papers she had to fill, but she hoped that everything would be okay because she never truly trusted Noxus and its people. She never forgot how some Noxian chased her down once after they caught her, and she was pretty sure that the same people would attempt to hurt her if they ever saw her set foot in their city.

Past the massive doors, Ahri and her companions would find exactly five stone stairs leading up to a modest chamber, with another large portcullis in the back and two wooden doors left and right, small in comparison to the large gate Ahri had just stepped through.
The chamber itself hosted several filing drawers, chairs, and tables covered writing utensils and registry books. Usually, noxian bureaucrats would mash pound at their typewriters and fill their books while soldiers kept a watchful eye on any possible immigrants. At this moment, however, only one soldier was present in the room - Urgot, the Headsman's Pride; who had ordered every being with a beating heart to exit the chamber. One could say, the cyborg wasn't particularly fond of Ahri's tricks.
As the vixen entered the room, Urgot's eyes seemed to flare up and lock into her, blade and cannon following suit. Tell me, fox. What business brings you and your... companions... to Noxus?.

John followed the group up the stairs, counting each one as they entered the chamber. Just a fun little game to keep himself busy as Ahri was doing all the talking anyway. Seemed like a very...Noxian styled chamber. Oddly quiet and empty though. Who knows they probably didn't trust her or something. His eyes slowly scanned the area for anything out of place.
They stopped on Ahri as he remembered... Gonna have to get that blade back at one point. God knows what kind of trouble he'd get into if he lost it. Part of him hoped they wouldn't check for weapons... But... Wait there is some genius to her holding it, being Ionian and all. He rolled his shoulders and silently yawned, watching the proceedings.
