Name:
Adelas Blackmourne
Alias:
Adelas
Class:
Illusionist
Race:
Human
Age:
20
Occupation:
Bronze Summoner
Residence:
The Institute
Alignment:
True Neutral
Abilities:
Being the son of one of the Institute of War's finest illusionists, Adelas seems to also have talent for that art.
He has yet to fully develop this strength, however, as he much rather prefers to use his tactical mind to his advantage instead of magical power. He has been able to grasp the basics of illusion magic regardless, allowing him to project a mirror of himself to the world around him.
The mirror image acts as a reflection to Adelas, quite similar to the shadow of Zed. It is unable to physically interact with other beings, acting as a mere distraction.
Adelas is also able to conjure up illusions to individuals with weak minds, allowing them to see fallacies that others won't. These are not able to penetrate the victim's mind, bringing forth hidden memories, but rather a way to distract an opponent.
In addition, Adelas wields the obligatory Summoner Spells of the League; Flash, Teleport, Heal, Fortify, Barrier etc.
Relationships:
[Champion Affiliations:]
Shaco: Common summon.
Nunu: Common summon.
Lee Sin: Common summon.
Description:
Adelas is unusually pale, mostly due to prioritizing to stay inside and play chess rather than go outside. He is thin and almost delicately weak for the same reason; lack of physical exercise.
His eyes are blue (Disregard picture with this). He is usually wearing a white robe with bronze trim outside of summoning (See image for reference), wearing a deep blue and plain blue robe on the summoning grounds.
Biography:
"The Institute brings an end to childish war and dabble, and gives tacticians a testing grounds. What is there not to like?"
Adelas was born into a family of Demacian nobles, his father being a summoner of the Institute of War. He therefore had the craft close to his body, as it was discovered that he had magical potential in the mere age of 13. Despite his parents' reluctance, Adelas eagerly wanted to immediately start his study of the Arcanum Majoris, intrigued by the unique power of the arcane. Being much too young for the craft, Adelas' father agreed to homeschool his boy until he met the appropriate age of 16, where he initiated to the university.
During his youth, he was quite antisocial, preferring to sit on the balcony and watching the children play football, discussing different attack patterns with himself. He soon found a liking for chess, finding it a necessary platform to exercise his tactical prowess.
He continued aiming to master the tactician's game, even after going to study Arcanum Majoris. He was usually caught in the middle of class, drawing a chessboard on a piece of paper. Though he was reprimanded in school to focus on his study, his father only encouraged him to continue.
Adelas' true interest for summoning sparked, when he stumbled upon the description of the "jungler" in the Summoner's Code. Combining strategy and psychology, Adelas was truly hooked on this complex role. Beginning to study day and night while watching the broadcasting of the battles upon the Fields of Justice, Adelas graduated with almost top grades.
Through strategy and elusiveness, Adelas hopes to roam the Fields of Justice in search of strategists like himself to outmanoeuvre and learn from.
