A figure moved slowly upon the Noxian trade route, a thick black cloak enveloping it body in darkness obscuring any features it may of had from public view other than a few strands of long smooth dark blue hair that hung down over the sides of his face. Those it past on the way to Noxus grew uneasy, the aura of death flowed from it's body, a suffocating coldness seemed to choke those who walked by, draining them off any sense of happiness causing them to feel completely and utterly alone in the world.
Its movements stopped before the reinforced gates, when it raised a head to look upon The Wall a slight grin appeared upon its now visible cracked black lips. It had been sent to deliver the message. Though its eyes were hidden from view, its lower jaw was now visible, its skin was deathly pale and drawn in tight around the bone as if there were no muscle at all. Its mouth was ever so slightly open, its breaths shallow sounding like a hoarse whisper.
He was a herald from the Shadow Isles, his message was for the Grand General himself.

Darius moved down to greet the messenger, he knew the Grand General was wanted and while he did not know exactly where Swain was he knew he would and could handle whatever it was this figure wanted. It was something from the shadow isles he was told.
He approached the the Raedsel, six more than well trained men marched with him. His own armor donned and weapon brandished. The gate was opened and the group of seven stepped forth. Noxians never retreated and never dwaddled.
"The Grand General was unable to attend to this. You will have to settle for me instead. State your business." Darius' tone commanded authority.
Azazel simply smiled from beneath the hood, the few long black strands of silky hair that hung loose fluttered slightly in the light breeze. The Summoner was wrapped in black robes instead of the usual blue or purple, he looked just as alive as The Hand of Noxus himself. Darius and the Raedsel would feel a sickening aura flow from the undead summoner, despair and suffering would grip at their hearts, a suffocating coldness seemed to pierce through their flesh as Azazel took a single step forward.
"And settle I shall," As Azazel spoke it was as though is every word were laced with venom, yet he smiled almost disarmingly, "I am here by command of the Ruined King himself. He wishes to contact the Grand General of Noxus."

"For what purpose?" Darius did not even let an ounce of any feeling seep from his person. The honor guard was honed to not flinch though perhaps some, beneath the darkness of their helmets. Their leader's face was stone. His eyes locked upon Azazel with nothing less than a stoic and unamused look.
His hand remained upon his weapon, his stance unwavering. If his presence was intimidating the Hand of Noxus, it was incredibly difficult to tell.
Azazel simply chuckled and spread his arms wide, "Why I am but a lowly messenger, how am I to know the plans of someone so great as the Ruined King?" He brought his hands together before him, his fingertips pointed at Darius, "I was to contact the Grand General in person. The Ruined King himself would like to speak with the leader of Noxus." The smile faded from the summoners face, though only his jaw was visible it would feel as though his eyes were piercing through the hood and boring into The Hand of Noxus. "He does not like to be kept waiting. You do no want to insult the King... What we done to Demacia? That was but a scouting force."

Darius' eyes narrowed with annoyance as this messenger grew more and more belligerent. His patience diminished as it became clearer to him that the messenger meant ill.
"You said you would settle. Respect the chain of command or this discussion is over." His voice didn't raise and his words served to remind this "guest" of his place. "The Grand General is unavailable. I am his second. Relay your message or attempt to meet at another time."
Azazel let out a heavy sigh, this man was just as idiotic as he looked. Clearly Darius did not understand the situation he was in. Should he assault the messenger, The Ruined King himself would take it as a grave insult. Azazel simply straightened his back and slowly moved his arms to pull back the black hood that obscured his features. Cyan fire blazed in Azazel's eyes as they seemed to pierce through Darius, his hair perfectly straightened hung down around his face, as he spoke it carried the same chilling cold tone as before,
"This message was not meant for your eyes, mortal. Nor can I share it with you unless the King commands it. He sees what I see. He hears what I hear. Turn me away at your own peril, I am willing to wait within the Noxian city until such a time that I can bring this message to the Grand General himself. None other shall see what the King has to say. Peace or War, Darius, The Hand of Noxus. You decide."

Darius inwardly sighed though his exterior did not crack in the slightest. His head turned and his eyes focused in on those guarding the gate. "Open the gate. Send word that we have a 'guest'." He viewed compliance as the best option for now, however if something happened he knew it would be upon his head. The gate began to open as he turned to face Azazel.
"...Remember where you are messenger." He warned. He may have been powerful but even he would be a fool to provoke the full wrath and power of a City-State prepared for the coming storm.
Azazel simply bowed, a slight smile upon his face, "I know exactly where I am, Darius." He straightened himself, "Thank you for your hospitality." He then looked toward the gate as it opened, the small smile remaining upon his face. It would be interesting to see what the King had to say to Swain. Azazel knew full well where he was, it was hard to forget in such a place. Azazel in all honesty had been hoping for someone to try harm him in some way or another. All the traveling had caused some pent up agitation.
