Poppy chuckles at the quick attempt to clean things up and pulls the case she had for Whomper to her, opening a small pocket on the side and pulling out a weathered dossier and opening it. It seemed like a regular dossier, but the seal on it that had been broken made it seem rather odd. The seal, was that of Noxus. The papers inside seemed to be about a man called Vincent Zeldorin, whose position was marked as AWOL. She sighs as she reads through the dossier, having done so countless times in the few months she had possessed the papers. Quietly, she mumbles.
"I will find you... Zeldorin. And you will face what you created that day..."
She then turns to Titus, looking at him with her usual gaze.
"Do not worry about the mess, without the cleanup the city had when I returned home months ago, the smithy would be quite a mess itself still. I am... used to having somewhat of a mess."
He walks to the kitchen and climbs up the counters to reach the cabinets. Titus opens the door and sets down each of the ingredients on the counter before closing it and setting himself down on the ground. He reaches for the uncooked chicken and dumps it into the pot for it to be boiled and grilled. He reaches for the knife and starts cutting out the vegetables needed to make chicken soup.
He takes a quick look at the small rounded dinner table and finds it cluttered with military paperwork. He sighs as he continues cutting up the vegetables.
"Hey Poppy. Can you try to clear up the dinner table? It's got...a lot of stuff on it. And don't touch the files on the small pocket on the side at the living room. Some of them have really sensitive stuff."
The smell of lunch and his rumbling stomach distracts Titus from seeing Poppy opening the dossier about Zeldorin.

Sighing, Poppy gathers the papers of the dossier together and places them back in the case where she took them from.
"I suppose..."
She stands up and starts to gathers papers together from the dinner table, not caring much about official or secret business at the moment, considering she was just trying to let her arm heal and relax
"I doubt there is anything I would not be allowed to see honestly, but I do not care about "top secret" or "Classified" files at the moment anyway..."
"Yea but they're military files. Plus dad would get mad if I reveal it to anyone else."
He finishes cutting up the vegetables and pours them into the pot. He then sprinkles seasoning into the pot and stirs it a few times. He then grabs two bowls with a spoon on each and sets them aside the pot.

Poppy shrugs to herself and continues cleaning the table, the case with Whomper and the dossier left on the chair she was in a moment ago. After she's done, she picks up the pile of papers and puts them amongst the other papers on another chair before returning to the case and lifting it aside.
She then sits down and pulls out the dossier again, starting to read through the information there in an attempt to figure out where the man she was looking for was hiding at...
The both can taste the delicious scent of chicken soup boiling in the pot. Titus walks over to the pot with the ladle in his hand and starts pouring soup to each one until they're filled.
"Chicken soup is ready. Start eating."
He places the chicken soup over the table in front of Poppy and sits down opposite of her. He starts to sip on the soup when Titus notices Poppy reading on the Noxian dossier.
"What are you reading?" Titus quizzes her, though he knows what she's reading and hints what the Ambassador might do.

Poppy sits down at the table and takes a couple spoonfuls of her soup before looking up at Titus.
"Some information that I was given a couple of months ago in a meeting at the Institute of War, as a gesture of peace and trust, by Grand General Jericho Swain of Noxus.
The information? The identities and known activities of the assassins that murdered my father all those years ago...
One of them dead already... this one... AWOL. A deserter. "Dead to Noxus already" according to the Master Tactician."
She sighs and looks at the dossier. She had read it countless times since she got it, but still had not found any true leads towards the man's whereabouts.

"Why would he not give it to me? It is from an era of Noxus he dislikes and tries to change Noxus from, and he is trying to prove to Ionia, the Institute and everyone else that Noxus is truly dedicated to peace...
If he withheld non-essential information about something that happened years ago by a leader he did not like, why would anyone have the reason to trust him or his rule?"
Poppy continues to eat her soup at her own pace, looking at the dossier.
"This is Vincent Zeldorin, the only assassin still alive that took part in my father's death...
Currently missing, a traitor. When I find him... I will give him what he deserves..."
He continues to eat his soup but narrows his view to Poppy. He doesn't trust Noxians and their 'promises'.
"Poppy."
"Swain was raised under the influence of Darkwill and even though he hates him, he's still raised under his influence. Why should you trust him on what he willingly gave you?"

"Tell me then captain, what reason would he have to lie, to give false information to me, right under the noses and eyes of the Institute of War? In the base of operations of the one force on Valoran that could instantly end his reign?
Do you think I have not considered all this already? That I have not given a single thought to this in the 3 months I have possessed this dossier? Do you think I am a fool? Do you? Because that is what it sounds like."
Poppy stares over the table at Titus, her gaze as serious and determined as ever, but holding a fair bit more of irritation than normal. A dangerous thing to get out of the extremely strong yordle.
Titus' eyes slightly open at the Ambassador's defensive posture. He talks to Poppy in a much calmer and relaxing tone.
"I haven't called you a fool yet, Poppy. I'm your bodyguard and I really want to call you a friend. I'm not your enemy. Lower that gaze of yours and enjoy your soup."
A moment of pause fills the air as Titus continues to sip on the soup.
"But think about it. Swain knows how the League judgments work...Swain worked with Revelash or whatever his name is to gain Kalamanda...Swain has Brand under control...and the League hasn't done much about the Shadow Isle warriors, the Void warriors, and hasn't even gotten back Brand yet. You know how smart Swain is? Despite that the Institute is very powerful, do you think Swain has already outsmarted them...and you? Sometimes he doesn't need to lie to get what he wants."

"If you believe the League has merely one method, the Judgment, of finding the truth... you are wrong. They control a high majority of all magic users in the world, and have the ability to create powerful new spells in a short amount of time.
Like in Kalamanda, as you used as an example. They created within a short amount of time with the aid of one of the Champions loyal to them, a sphere of magic that stopped time itself to those affected by it.
Also, the League no longer has authority over Noxus, to get the Burning Vengeance back, they would have to do so in an offensive act, that could cause a war. Like politics, it is not as black and white as you think, captain."
Poppy shakes her head and continues eating. She knew more about the League and the requirements for action than the captain seemed to understand. Years of politics and work with the League had given her knowledge about how these things worked, something that an Army captain would not know without specially training for the subject.

"He may be a tactical genius, but has anyone fought a force like the Institute of War before? What good will his tactics do if his forces are stuck in time, on the mercy of the League?
And do not forget, if need be, they can merely force him to be summoned to them, they have done so before for beings such as Nasus and Renekton. And then... it is a mere formality to make him a former leader."
Poppy finishes her soup, sighing. The League had been foolish, but they were a force to be reckoned with. They had been able to drive the Shadow Isles back from Demacia without nearly using their full force.
