Biography: Fraya's family history is extensive. Hundreds of years ago, her ancestors led a small group comprised of several families to the far north of what would be Winter's Claw territory and established a settlement. There, they would live in obscurity for centuries, only the occasional trader or traveler coming to visit. The village never had a formal name, and outsiders simply called it the "Caribou Village", taking the name from the village's symbol. Roughly one hundred years ago, however, tribesmen of the Winter's Claw passed through while hunting. They told Fraya's great-grandmother, the matriarch at the time, of their tribe. Enchanted by their tales of glory, and finding that their ideologies meshed well, the matriarch offered a proposal. Her village would join the Winter's Claw, fight for the Winter's Claw, and die for the Winter's Claw, if need be, for the honour of fighting alongside them.
Eighty years later, Fraya was born. Growing up in her village proved difficult and harsh. She had to endure the agonizing winters of the far north, even witnessing her infant sister freeze to death during one particularly vicious storm. The eldest child in her family, Fraya is next in line for the position of village matriarch, following her mother, Regja.
Living is the harshest, most inhospitable territory north of the Great Barrier, Fraya, like everyone else in her village, learned to handle a weapon in her young childhood. By the age of sixteen, she became quite skilled with her battleaxe, which she has become quite attached to, going as far as to name it "Fleshhewer".
With her family and village sworn to the Winter's Claw, Fraya fights for the them , and is more than willing to give her life on the battlefield for them.
