Name: Andre Bleakwood
Alias: Stalwart
Class: Tactician
Race: Noxian-Human
Age: 50
Occupation: General
Residence: Noxus
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Ability:
Stalwart- Andre holds the line. His men do not retreat. They do not break until they are dead.
Andre is a respectable swordsman, but lacks the skill of knights and other warriors.
His blade of choice is a longsword.
Andre leads from the rear as he prefers to see how his defenses hold before making decisions on how to react. When battle is joined, he will make his way to the front.
Relationships
His first loyalty is to Noxus. Then to Swain. As with any good Noxian, he knows the next leader is merely someone strong enough to take the reigns of government and hold on. He is a loyal soldier to his beloved home and merely follows his orders.
During the power struggle of Darkwill and Swain, he had remained neutral, waiting to see the stronger man. To Andre, the stronger man lives.
Champions of note:
Swain, the Master Tactician- Loyal as long as he continues to prove himself worthy
Darius, the Hand of Noxus- respect
Katarina, the Sinister Blade- respects, but unsure of loyalty
Cassiopeia, the Serpent’s Embrace- she was a spy, but for who?
Dr. Mundo, the Madman of Zaun- Dislikes augmentations as a short-cut to success that weaken oneself in the long run
Draven, the Glorious Executioner- Show-off
LeBlanc, the Deceiver- Distrust
Sion, the Undead Champion- Respect’s skill, but not motives
Talon, the Blade’s Shadow- Distrust/will arrest on sight
Urgot, the Headsman’s Pride- Motives are not pure
Vladimir, the Crimson Reaper- Strong mage, but too reclusive to trust
OC’s of note:
Decavian Theun- Arrogant, power hungry, soft handed, little pissant.
Girard Laurentine III- Cool headed, good general and great to have at negotiations should they become heated.
Maria Blackwind- Augments are an unneeded shortcut. Strong, but how long before something breaks?
Zorn Agammond- chubby politician. A decent general, but he played too many games and lived too fat off the hog. Needs to get his act together.
Description
Andre stands just under six feet tall with average bulk. He wears black chain mail at all times.
His face would be handsome were it not for his missing left ear and an ugly scar running from the ear to under his eye and clipping off the tip of his nose. He is bald and his eyebrows and beard are grey.
His sigil is a black oak leaf on a green field.
Biography
Andre is the last son of the house of Bleakwood. He was the only child of his parents and his rise to power left him scarred. Instead of trying to solve the issue of heir, Andre focused more fully on Noxus’s advancement in the world.
He fought in Ionia and was responsible for holding a large portion of the border between Noxian Ionia and Free Ionia. His men were either fiercely loyal or deathly afraid of the man and did not break ranks when wave after wave of Ionians tried to break their line. The Ionians realized that the line would hold and resorted to other techniques.
Hit and Run, Artillery barrages that lasted hours on end, and assassination of Andre or his officers. Three assassins found Andre. All three were slain before Andre was, but the second one almost took Andre’s face.
Field medic said there was nerve damage and that it would take him being removed from the field to fix it, but Andre insisted on remaining on the front. If he had left, they would have been pushed back. A face for a few hundred men was worth it.
He only fell back when he was ordered to after the Ionian Match where Noxus was defeated.
His defensive formations have only fallen at one occasion. Kalamanda. It is being investigated.
Hugh Gaynesford ( summoners.shurelia.com/profiles/2836 ) has been found dead, with papers indicating his treachery at Kalamanda.
Warwick was declared responsible for the death of Gaynesford under the orders of High Command.
