Yoshi looks at Teo again, seemingly dazed at the bow tie. Probably never seen it before. He approaches him and gets to his eye level.
"This is called a bow tie. And you put it around the neck," Yoshi instructs while he points to his own purple bow tie.
He places it around Teo, snaps it in, and adjusts the bow tie so that it fits comfortably. After taking a quick look, he takes the tuxedo and fits it in, grabbing the little arms and inserting it through the proper places. Then he fixes the finishing touches and moves Teo next to the mirror so that the two can look at it.
Teo gulps, staring at somebody he doesn't recognize at all in the mirror. Everything about him seems so... different.
"I-isn't it a little... much? I don't even feel like myself right now..."
As if instinctively, the young bard reaches down to his side, feeling around for his flute. When he realizes it's not there, it's as if a bomb goes off in his chest. Immediately his eyes are darting this way and that, head spinning and heart rate rising, breathing becoming more rapid as he searches. He scampers around the room, searching, unable to remember where his old clothes were placed.
"My flute! Wh-wha, where, where is it?! Where is my stuff?!"
Yoshi wasts no time and rushes out of the room, frantically searching for Teo's clothes. His first thought would be the shower room. However, by the time he arrives there, the antsy Horatio is moving on to the worst case possible: knock knock jokes. It can only mean that the situation's that bad! He darts out and barely notices a pile of rag clothes. He rummages through the pile of dirty clothing until he felt a cylinder piece under Teo's hood.
Aha!
Picking it up and after quickly washing it at the shower room, he runs back to the dressing room and presents it to Teo.
Teo continues to search through the changing room, tears starting to well up in his eyes. The flute was everything to him... his whole life. Without it, he'd be nothing. He HAD to find it! But with each passing second, the thought of never seeing it again dug deeper and deeper into his brain. It was just so horrifying! Then Yoshi steps in the room, making the young bard jerk his head in the elder yordle's direction. Yes! He had found it!
"My flute!!"
Immediately Teo rushes at Yoshi, wrapping his arms around the maestro tightly as tears spill out onto his tuxedo.
"Y-you... found it! Thank y-you so much, Y-Yoshi...! I-I couldn't imagine... not h-having it anym-more."
Yoshi is taken aback at a crying Teo when he presented him with his flute. But the elder conductor does not try to separate himself from Teo. Instead, he hugs him tightly and gently wipes off his tears from his beaming face. To comfort him, he lowers himself to meet eye level with him.
"You know some of our music and if you get stuck, don't worry. Let music flow through you. Plus I want you to have a solo performance after this. I love your music, Teo. What do you say?"
Teo bites his lower lip, looking down slightly. Performing with the band, in front of so many yordles? The thought makes him shiver once again, but he still gives a small nod.
"O...o-okay. I'll do it."
He looks up again into Yoshi's eyes, even smiling a little. Yeah, he'd try for the maestro, since he was so kind and helpful for so long. The little yordle wraps his arms around the elder, his nose nuzzling into Yoshi's shoulder.
He brings Teo closer to a tight yet comfy hug. Yoshi can feel a small aura of happiness coming out of Teo. As the two let go of each other, Yoshi views Teo, ready for the show to begin.
"Well...let the show begin."
With that, he takes Teo's hand and escorts him to the front of the stage. It doesn't take Yoshi to find Teo's designated seat: a wooden chair with his name taped at the front. The musical sheets stand in front of him. The band members in front of him stand poised and sophisticated, ready to start.
The young bard sits down, holding his flute nervously in his lap. Now was the time. He'd perform in front of this crowd with the band, hopefully not making any mistakes. Would they notice if he did? And worse, could he control his magic? Sometimes he wouldn't even be trying and illusion would start appearing... that's certainly something he doesn't want to happen.

A Yordle was running through the streets. I'm going to be late! Tristana, in a normal yordle shirt instead of her uniform, had heard of the concert and really didn't want to miss it. She got a little carried away at the shooting range though. As darted into the town center, she didn't hear the music playing and thought. They're at the break already? DANG! She asked someone in the audience: "Did I miss the whole first part?" "No Miss, they're about to begin!" Whew, I'm on time after all. Tristana thought, while trying to control her panting as to not disturb the rest of the audience, and moving towards the stage.
Yoshi takes center stage and pulls Horatio back by the touch of his right shoulder. He whispers to him in gratitude.
"Thanks, Horatio."
After Horatio takes his seat and the band is ready to begin, Yoshi puts the tip of the wand right in front of his mouth. The wand glows dimly in musical energy and Yoshi's voice will soon resonate throughout the entire town square.
"Ladies and gentleyordles, I'm glad you all came for this evening event! The show will begin momentarily!"
The crowd claps in excitement. Some actually cheered and wooped from the back lines. Once the crowd died down, Yoshi starts to move to and fro on the stage as he continues his introduction.
"Well first and foremost in a few months or so, the Bandle City Band will be part of a greater music group known as the Yordle Orchestra, which I will be also leading. The Yordle Orchestra is actually made of several different music groups and they have invited our band to be an integral part of it. So expect to have our band to not only perform swing music, but when a group of band that make up the Yordle Orchestra congregate, we'll be performing a variety of sorts as well!"
The audience cheers again as usual and dies down to quietness.
"Without further ado, let me introduce you our first piece."
The conductor raises his wand while one male singer comes forth into the stage, with his own glowing wand to project his voice. The wand signals its ideal rhythm and the trumpets blare in its swinging joy. The swing show has officially begun!
Teo takes a deep breath as the music is about to start, preparing himself. He happens to be one of two flutes up on stage, which isn't odd considering swing bands typically have few of them compared to the other wind instruments. The young yordle plays along, not brave enough to look towards the crowd and instead focuses his attention on Yoshi.
The music dies down and Yoshi can hear the thundering applause coming from the audience. The singer returns to his seat and the conductor wastes no time in tapping his baton to signal the drummer to start the beat. The trumpets make a return to sound out the lively swing to the audience.
