It was the same personal dilemma any father could face. Their own sons. General Vespacian Flavius of the Bandle City Armed Forces covers his face in shame at the constant thought of his arrogant son. Titus may be a brilliant swordsman but his ego runs wild, and has some military officers...concerned.
He stands alone in his strategy room, always vigilant in news of any signature that can threaten the city-state he swore to defend. The Mechanized Menace's own satellites gave him the eyes he would have never had. With the Scouts, the Meglings, and the Yipsnakes patrolling the area, a sense of security blankets over Bandle City and Vespacian himself.
But Titus and his ego continue to be a thorn to his skin. And his another bid to dampen his son's arrogance, he summons his best fighter to meet with him...

Teemo marches into the room, halting in the doorway for a sharp salute.
"Captain Teemo, reporting for duty, sir!"
There have been times before where the scout captain had been called to the strategy room, though typically there were other yordles about to discuss team movements and target locations. Being alone with General Flavius did not typically bode well for anyone of a lower rank, be them Armed Forces or not.
He quickly salutes his finest scout back with a confident smile in his face. If there's anyone who can do any job better than anyone, it is always Teemo. Vespacian wastes no time and quickly gives him a hug. This is how much Vespacian respects the scout captain. If only he can do the same to Titus...
"How are you, Teemo? Well? Work getting to you? How is it?"

Teemo is a bit caught off guard, but returns it happily. This had happened a few times previously, but the scout never thought it would become a habit. At any rate, it felt nice to be on a more personal level with the General, almost as if he were a second father.
"I'm doing just fine, General Flavius. Things have been a little... odd, lately, but that seems to be more typical each day now. Why is it you called? Is it important?"

"Titus? Oh... well, what's the issue?"
Teemo never really had fond memories of the captain of the guard, especially since Titus often let his ego get the better of him. If the General is coming to the scout captain for assistance, then it must be pretty important. Hopefully nothing too agonizing.
"You know how arrogant Titus can be sometimes? As a general, I find it intolerable!..." Vespacian slams his fist at the table. "...to see a soldier who thinks of himself and only himself."
The fist relaxes and the general takes a deep breath and looks at Teemo dead in the eye with concern written all over it.
"As a father, I wish for my son to be the best. Not just in the military, but more importantly as a person himself. And my actions are not just for the better of the military, but also for myself, the family, but most importantly for Titus."
He walks over to the other side of the table and sets it straight to Teemo.
"Captain! Titus will be under your command. He will be with you where ever you go and you will make sure that he obeys orders, he respects his superiors, and he will become a humble person I want him to be. Listen. You may not like him. But I want you to give him discipline. Not just for my sake, but for his sake too. This is orders from...a father that loves him very much."
Silence fills the room for seconds before Vespacian breaks it.

Teemo stares at Vespacian silently, simply dumbfounded by the order. Watch over Titus? Teach him discipline? The request was both an honor and a curse, and quite frankly it was completely unexpected. Teemo's mind couldn't even find the words to respond.
"U-...uh... You... want me to babysit him, sir? I mean, I accept this task wholeheartedly and am glad that we're attempting to discipline him, but... Titus is... well, he's somethin' all right."
The captain looks to the side uneasily, scratching the back of his neck. Would dragging around a captain of the armed forces cause any dilemmas or end up dragging him behind? He sure hoped not.
Vespacian's voice booms through the room. He takes a quick look at his own desk with picture of Titus when he was 6 years old. He was nice and cute back then. Now he's strong yet arrogant. Sometimes reckless. Vespacian calms down and recollects himself back to his calm self.
"As a general, it is my duty to shape my soldiers to their greatest strengths. As a father, it is my purpose to make sure that my child becomes great here..." Vespacian states while he points to his heart.

"Very well, general," he states in a very formal military tone, saluting the general. However, on the inside he's fairly worried that this challenge could prove to be more of a nuisance than anything else.
"Exactly when will he be placed under me, if I may ask?"
As if by pure coincidence, the general's son enters the room and closes behind him. Titus thought that today will be a normal day of sorts, only to find out that he's wrong as Titus reads off his dad's strict eyes.
"Right now," Vespcaian declares. "Titus. You will be placed under Teemo's command."
"Woah, what, wait!" Titus stammers as he just unexpectedly received the news. "I'm under Teemo!? When did this happen?"
The general approaches to his son and places his hands on the shoulders. "Teemo will explain everything. Just do as he says."
Vespacian leaves the strategy room, leaving the two captains alone by themselves. It doesn't make sense. Two captains of the same rank but it's clear that Teemo has the final word in it. He slowly approaches Teemo with the thought of 'How the hell did I deserve this?!' running through his mind.

Teemo drops the salute and folds his arms when Titus approaches, giving him a very stern expression. He's still not very sure how to approach this, but hopefully he can make it up along the way.
"Your father has decided you're in need of some long overdue discipline. He's chosen me to administer it, and in doing so placed you under my command. You will be following my orders and, above all, listening to them. For you, this will probably not be a painless time, but if you cooperate then hopefully you'll learn and will never have to go through this again. Do I make myself clear?"
"My dad!" Titus spits out. Out of all the people to teach Titus manners, it has to be Teemo!?
"My dad! Told you!" But fighting it is probably useless anyways. The captain of the Scouts probably has better relationship with his own father than with the son. And while Teemo's the natural nice yordle on the outside, even Titus is intimidated by him a few times.

Teemo nods, not smiling in the slightest at the acknowledgement Titus gave to the order. He didn't wholly believe there was any truth behind it.
"I expect you to behave on your best behavior, and make sure you look out for the good of the team rather than yourself. Focusing on your own needs... is what leads to the loss of lives of those in your squad."
For a moment he looks to the floor solemnly, but quickly puts a compassionate smile on his face and gentle hand on the other captain's shoulder.
"I didn't choose to be your disciplinary adviser, captain, but I'm glad we can use this time to understand each other better. Who knows... maybe you'll even learn something about yourself in this little adventure."
No sound came out of Titus but he only gave Teemo a small nod.
"I guess this is for the better...dad always complains about my attitude..."
A touch on the shoulders from Teemo and Titus already has hopes that he could get a good friend of his. Maybe this discipline lesson won't be bad after all. He looks at Teemo with a small smile from his face.
