Name: Jayne Sarro
Alias: -
Class: Human
Race: Chemist
Age: 26
Occupation: Singed's Apprantice
Residence: Zaun, Rich Quarters
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Abilities:
While not having many physical abilities other than some agility, Jayne can create various poisons taught by her university and Singed. After her first month with Singed, she ordered a dart gun that can contain poisonous darts.
Darts
---------
Neurotoxin (Singed Taught)
Singed taught this poison to Jayne. Her first assignment was to create a potion that could slow a person's reaction speed. Jayne however, achieved a potion that slowed not only the reaction time but the time which an order moves through the nerves, slowing both movement and reaction time by a minor to moderate amount depending on the size and strength of a person.
Noxious Poison (University Taught)
Jayne learned in the university about a toxin made of various minerals that caused failure in various organs for a limited time. After refining the formula a bit, Jayne added it to her arsenal.
This poison works for a few hours, dealing minor damage over time and slowing breath rate by a slight amount. The damage increases the smaller the target is. (A Yordle will take medium damage over time and require some medical support).
Frenzy Concoction (Self inflicted only)
A couple of weeks after her becoming of Singed's apprentice, Jayne was given the assignment of creating her own version of the Insanity Potion while using at least some of the potent chemists that Singed uses. The result was a potion that increases acrobatic and agility as well as reaction time.
However, this potion does have some side effects. While the imbiber has increased abilities for a while, he later suffers from a "crash" of sorts, having reduced functionality in the limbs, slower reaction time and high dehydration. Another side effect includes a strong pain in the head area, a strong pain at that. Overall using the potion may be good in a tight spot, but will definitely ruin your day. The positive effect lasts for a hour while the side effect lasts for double that time. Taking an overdose will cause amazing abilities, but will kill the user in the end.
Steel Dart
A silent dart made of steel. Capable of penetrating skin and such but not doing as much damage as an arrow or a bullet. Causes slight bleeding depending on the spot hit. The dart would not penetrate any kind of metal armor while it may have more impact on weaker metals than stronger metals.
Relationships:
Singed - Mentor. Feels him being over the top and strict but appreciates him for taking her in.
Mother - Kaya Dezhan Sarro - Afflicted by a disease and incapable. No attachment.
Father - Marcus Sarro - Works in the Zaunite Government as Chairman Magnus's subordinate. Feels committed to make her father proud.
Description:
Image.
Jayne is sassy and tough. She will stand her ground against most but her mentor and father.
She lives in the Rich Quarters since she rented a house there after Singed's first paycheck.
Background:
"Jayne was always a strange girl." One of the women in the scene said.
The enforcement arrived earlier in the scene to find Jayne over the body of the professor of the academy. His whole body inflicted with burn marks. He was still barely breathing, begging for a quick end. Jayne just kicked him with her boot and turned to the enforcers. She looked at them with a bored expression as they took her under custody.
Locked in a tight room, Jayne took out the plans of her concoction. She has been working on it for years now and the results finally seem to give fruit. If she only had the resources and the knowledge, she would've perfected it by now. The poison was supposed to inflict heavy acidic burns on infected areas but it was only to affect after an amount of time. She hit the professor in the head as he entered the room and knocked him out for 10 minutes, exactly the time that it took the poison to take root which wasn't long enough.
Many adjustments were needed to be made. It wasn't potent enough to kill after a hour nor did it tick off a hour later like she planned. Too bad the professor screamed so much, she might have tried to make an antidote if he would just stay quiet. Sure it would take her a few weeks or months, but it wasn't like he was going anywhere, tied up like that. He was probably dead by now, she assumed.
A knock on the door was sound. TRANSITION
20 minutes earlier, in the scene. A juggernaut of a man arrived. He was crude in his look, his work shown him and recognized him. He wore a suit this day, as befit his status and he decided to look what was the ruckus in one of the best academies in Zaun. When he arrived, he found the professor barely breathing and struggling. He discarded his well-being and instead looked for results. His skin was ashen black, his life drained. A quick mercy was needed, but who had time for that. Singed demanded from the enforcers, which he held by the pocket, to view the offender party, Jayne.
TRANSITION followed by a rough voice. "Was that your poison?" Jayne was terrified. She recognized that voice everywhere, her biggest inspiration. Singed was outside the door, demanding the knowledge. She felt fear but she answered anyway. "Y-yes..." She answered meekly. Singed replied. "Get out, we need to talk."
Having seeing the potential in Jayne and her formula, Singed decided to give her personal training and resources. She became his apprentice. Jayne currently works for Singed, perfecting poisons and working on the production lines. When he didn't say anything about antidotes, she simply smiled and concentrated on her real goal. Her poison, "The Ashen Widow".
Biography:
Jayne comes from a family that had influence in the city throughout the generations. Her house was always in the medium quarters and while her family was still rich, they stayed there.
Following Jayne's birth, her mother, Kaya, took deadly ill. Jayne's father, Marcus, neglected Jayne over the years because of his wish to cure Kaya. Jayne was left with a caretaker until she was mature enough to stay alone, and then she was alone.
Being neglected caused Jayne some childhood traumas, rendering her less likely to feel for those she does not know.
Over the time, Jayne developed a hate for her father. It was so intense however, that it caused her to want to rise above him. She wanted to be known, she wanted to show him she could do better only to later trash him.
Today, Jayne works as Singed's apprentice and being taught various chemical work as well as working for him developing new poisons and potions alike. She also took interest to the medicine area just because of the thoughts of her mother and her will to finish her off.
