Cordellia took a sip from the bottle, simply relaxing in the warm waters of the spring enjoying Wukong's company. She frowned as Wukong asked her about what motivated her, with a small sigh she began to speak, "Well... Back when I was a child, both my mother and father fought for Demacia... They grew close, had me and then my mother had to stay home and look after me while my father kept fighting for the good of the nation. She grew to resent me, you know. Because she couldn't be with my father... My father still loved me though, always coming home with presents for me from where he was stationed."
She shifted slightly in the water, this was the first time she had ever told anyone about her home life, she glanced at him. She was hesitant about telling him, but he had no reason to tell anyone, "When my mother was fit for duty once more, she left me in the care of a man who had been crippled by the wars, a friend of my fathers. I grew up with Jarvan and Garen too, they're both champions now I'm not..." She paused again, swallowing another mouthful of sake, "So I trained every day, every night... Developed my own fighting style even... When I thought I was finally strong enough, I challenged Xin Zhao to a spar, to show I was good enough... I was crushed." Sadness crept into her voice now swallowing a larger mouthful as if to wash to feeling away.
"I want to stop that from happening to others, I don't want families to be split up, I don't want people to feel the pain of loosing another, I don't want my friends and family to go into a war without knowing if they'll see their friends again... If I learn Wuju, then I can hopefully finally become strong enough to protect them all.."
Wukong listened intently to her words. Every last one she spoke, he drank in being a rather good listener despite being almost always very excitable and talkative. He'd watch her expressions change, and the increased amount she drank with seemingly each pause. His brow knit up a little with concern more at her drinking then her story.
An understanding nod followed however as he took a long draw from the bottle, "You want a lot of what others want." He began, "But war is a common thing among humans, and even animals to a degree. Fighting for territory, and dominance. It's what drives the world even on the smallest level." He chuckled softly, "But with humans it's driven by logic, and emotions whereas animals are driven to war by instinct. They fight with what they were born with."
He softly lifted his hand beneath her chin, turning her face towards his, "You should do the same. High expectations of yourself are great! But realize that you can't eliminate all the hurt in the world. Just add to it your strengths, and help where you can."
When she talked of Wuju, he chuckled softly, "Wuju isn't about strength and battle. It's about understanding yourself. You refine yourself by learning more of who you are. Wuju style is simply one way of going about it! Your own strengths will come through the longer you seek the guidance of Wuju."
"One path is not the only one that leads to enlightenment, Cordellia." He allowed his fingers to slip away from her chin, letting out a jovial laugh, "Every mistake is a lesson."

Cordellia remained totally silent as she listened to him speak, she didn't expect Wukong to have any wise words and was simply stunned when he spoke them. She lowered her eyes as he released her chin, by now she was beginning to feel slightly light headed. She sighed and sunk into the water once he stopped speaking, she didn't know what to make of what he said, she remained under the water for no more than five second before popping back up and frowning a little, she looked to Wukong, "Why did you learn Wuju?"
Wukong tilted his head a bit and smiled his bright smile, "I wanted to know who was the strongest, and Master Yi told me about the League." He relaxed back again, drinking down a couple gulps of sake, "He said he'd introduce me and teach me the ways of humans, and he'd teach me Wuju so I might take on a student someday. Guess you're sorta my first! But Master Yi far more wise then I." Laughing a bit, "He's a great teacher."
Wu glanced over to her again and lightly splashed her, "Hehehe.." His cheeks reddened again before abruptly standing and shouting to the sky, "THE SKY IS AMAZING!" Pointing after a spot, "I just saw a shooting star!" Or maybe he was seeing the sky blur from all the sake.

She smiled a little, "I'm kinda your student and his, I guess." Cordellia cringed away as he splashed her, letting a soft laughter escape from her lips as he stood and shouted at the sky, she would take another drink from the sake before placing the bottle behind herself next to the pack. Cupping her hands, she would stand and throw water at the monkey's face as he stood pointing at where he thought the shooting star was.
As the water hit him, he'd snap his head back towards her, shaking himself wildly to splash her with as much water as his hair and fur would send flying in her direction. A wide grin spread across his face before he'd reach out to grab her, trying to push her firmly, but gently, back into the water, "Hahaha!"

Cordellia ducked away from the water being shaken from the monkey king, "Ugh! You jer--" only to be pushed over, she let out a yelp grabbing for his arm as she fell back into the water, attempting to pull him with her. Should she somehow pull him off balance and drag her with him, she would push him down and attempt to break through the surface to take a breath of air.
Oh he was so confident she couldn't possible pull him down. But with all the alcohol, he felt air moving around him then the sudden impact against the water. Beneath it, he'd be floating above her, eyes wide with a look of bewilderment. A big grin spread across his lips again just before he burst from the water and stood back a bit from Cordellia. He'd allow a heavy laugh to escape him, before grabbing for the sake bottle he'd been nursing all evening,"You're almost as tricksy as me!" He winked, "Almost." Beneath the water, his tail wrapped about her ankle to pull her off balance and back beneath the surface of water, releasing immediately so not to hold her down.

Cordellia hit the water once more, swallowing a large amount of the warm liquid before break the surface with a mixture of coughing and laughter. She stood and looked upward to the night sky not realizing how late it had gotten. She frowned slightly and finished off the last of her bottle, it didn't effect her as much as it seemed to effect Wukong, "I wonder if we should head back soon." she said while wringing the water out of her silvery hair, a small smile on her face as she looked at Wukong.
Wukong had by this point began chugging most of the remainder of his bottle. He stopped and looked at her a bit off balance, licking his lips a bit. One eye slightly open more then the other. A clear sign he was a bit drunk, "Back?" He asked, "I wanna walk! And fight!" Stumbling to the edge of the hot spring, he'd carefully climb out before moving towards where his clothing was. Without even considering modesty, he'd unwrap the fundoshi, letting it drop to the ground before wildly shaking himself off. His back to Cordellia.
After a bit of 'drying' he would pull his pants on, stumbling a bit and bouncing around on one foot before he'd manage to pull them on all the way. A laugh following, "Ha! Wonder who left this here!" Pointing at the fundoshi he had just dropped on the ground. "Ahaha.. oh.. they're mine!" He snatches them up, ringing them out before the staff would pop up next to him and he'd promptly place them atop it to dry.

"Wana walk and fight?" She smiled, "I didn't bring my sword with me." as he shook himself off, she too would climb out of the water grabbing a towel from the pack, "You know, we could just camp here for the rest of the night. I'm sure Master Yi wouldn't mind in the slightest." She would start to dry herself off, moving toward her clothing and slipping into the linen pants and then throwing on her top, "Where do you want to walk to?"
She completely ignored the comments about the fundoshi, simply clearing her throat and trying not to laugh.
There was an odd air of silence on the air as Cordellia got dressed. After she finished, and would turn, Wu would be slouched against a tree completely passed out. He'd slowly slide forward away from it before falling completely out cold, onto the grassy ground. He'd hardly move aside from his breathing, with a bubble of air growing and shrinking upon his lips as he slept soundly.
Seems the sake was a bit too much for the Monkey King.

Cordellia would smirk at the sight of the passed out Monkey King, "Guess I finally found a challenge he couldn't overcome." She chuckled. She walked off for a few moments, gathering a some wood for a fire using her survival training she gained from the Demacian military. Soon she there would be a small fire crackling a few feet away from Wukong. Cordellia soon lay down next to it and drifting off to sleep herself.
