She smiled, "Yeah, not that I've been doing that much." She doesn't do that much when she's not singing somewhere and today had been just a dull day had it not been that Liam came to visit. She wondered what he was doing at the moment, "Jay, I have a job coming up soon, and by job I mean I'm going to sing, I would love it if you were there."

Jay's face became one of surprise. "Oh, Marcy, that's great! Yes, I'd love to see your performance!" He reached over and hugged her. "Oh, man, I've really wanted to hear you sing! This'll be great!" He pulled back and smiled broadly. "When's the show gonna be?"

She smiled and hugged him back, "It's next friday, so in a week." She kissed him on the cheek. She liked singing, and now that Jay was going to watch, it made her even more excited.

With a quick grin, Jay nodded. "Alright, count me in. I'll be there." He smiled happily, excited to finally see one of Marcy's shows. She talked so much about them, he was waiting for when he'd get to see one himself.

"Great, I'll make sure that they let you backstage." She said with a smile, hugging him tightly. "So, Jay... What do you want to do today? I'm up for anything." She said with a smile and looked him in the eyes.

Jay shrugged. "I don't know...hrm..." He thought for a bit. Turning back, he smiled slightly coyly. "Well, I'd take you upstairs, but...Liam is still up there. May end...awkwardly." Moving closer, he pointed to her book collection. "Maybe we can just stay in and relax today? Read a couple of books? That might be fun. Unless you want to do something else."

Liam comes back into the living room the instant Jay finishes talking. He had a wide smile on his face and turns for the door, his sword slung around his back. Liam spoke in a mischievous tone,"Oh guys, I have to go do something for a bit. It seems you two have the whole house to yourselves and judging by the schedule I have planned, I might not be back for a couple hours." He walks out the door as soon as he is done speaking while trying his hardest not to snicker.
She smirked when he suggested they'd go upstairs, but she too realized that Liam was up there, she was quite surprised when he suggested they'd read books, "I didn't know you read books, dear." she got up from the couch and began browsing a few books, there where so many she hadn't read yet, but so many she had already read.
"You know what? You find me a book to read while I drink more wine, I can't leave this bottle half-empty." She said with a smile and took a sip from the bottle, "Or do you want a glass of wine before we read?"

Jay stood up. "I'll have a glass of wine in a minute. For now..." He glided over to the bookshelf, flipping through them. "...I need to find something we'd enjoy." Skipping across them, he looked for interesting titles. One caught his eye. Pulling it out, he was met by a techmaturgical cover and the title 'Leviathan.' It wasn't a long book, maybe an hour and a half, two hour read, but the techmaturgy caught his eye. "Hey, think this might be good? If not..."
He grabbed another book, a thicker novel, simply entitled 'The Hobbit.' "I always enjoyed reading this one growing up. It never gets old for me." Grabbing them both, he sat down next to Marcy, grabbing a wine glass and holding it out for her to fill it up. With a quick motion, he held out the two books. "Either look good?"

She sat down as he stood up, taking another sip from the bottle, she looked at him as he looked at her books. She smiled as he sat down next to her. She poured some wine into the his glass before taking another sip herself.
"I think you should read me Levathian, *hick* I haven't read that one yet." she rested her head at his shoulder. The bottle was almost empty, it hadn't been full when she opened it, but she had only taken one glass from it before. And now a few glasses later and some sips directly from the bottle, it was almost empty.

Jay sipped his wine. "Well, don't jump to conclusions. Lesse what it's about." He flipped it open, looking for a abbreviated version of the story. "Hm...it's about these two kids who live on this mystical planet called 'Earth.' Stupid name for a planet. The entire planet is going to crap after this ambassador was assassinated. On one side, the son of the ambassador has to flee from his techmaturgical nation to escape assassins that're coming for him. On the other side, a girl disguises herself as a boy to join the air force that's made up of..." he peered at the page. "Eugh, this is far out. Airships made out of living creatures."
He continued reading. "And, overall, the story is about the troubles they face, and how they eventually meet. Seems to have a sequel, but I don't think you have it." He closed it. "That or the Hobbit. What sounds good?"
