Jay had finished his coffee as well, and his scone was about half-eaten; prime condition for taking it on the go. Taking another bite, he stood up. "I'm fine leaving. We should get you those heels you wanted soon. Also, I like walking." He wiped the crumbs off his lips. "Shall we leave, then?"

She stood up and took her umbrella with her left hand and Jay's hand with her right. "Let's go then." She said with a smile. When they came closer to the door she unfolded the umbrella to protect herself from the sun that was still out.
Once they got out from the cafe and began walking she said, "I kind of like the sun, even though I can't be touched by it's light."

Jay nodded as they walked, glancing up at the sun. "It certainly is beautiful. And without it, most life would be impossible." He turned he gaze away, not wanting to be blinded. "But my favorite part is when it rises and sets. It's at it's most beautiful, and leads to another good day started or finished. Plus," he remarked, smiling at Marcy, "when it goes down, I get to see you."

She smiled and tightened her grip on his hand a little, her heart rate was a bit higher than it usually was. "I like the sunsets too, but I've never witnessed one, I've seen a few paintings of it. Will you be my sunset?" She looked up in Jay's eyes with puppy eyes.

He met her gaze with a smile. "I doubt I could live up to the beauty of one, but for you, I can give it my best." He felt her grip tighten and pulse quicken, and he matched it with a tighter grip of his own, wanting to keep her secure.

They moved down the streets of Noxus until they arrived at a shoe store, the couple walked in and Marcy folded her umbrella. She looked at Jay, "I've been in almost all shoe stores in Noxus, but not this one." She looked around the shelves, there was plenty of shoes on them. She waited for someone to come to them before looking around more.

Jay followed her into the store, signaling for an employee to come to them. He asked her to start bringing some heels for Marcy, and then turned back to her. "Want to grab a seat? We can try the shoes on as they come." He then went to a bench and patted besides him, signaling for her to sit.

She sat down next to him and moved closer, putting her head on his shoulder, humming a tune she closed her eyes while she waited for the employee to return.

The employee was back shortly with several varieties of high heels, from simple black ones to sexy stilettos to high pumps. Jay mostly ignored her, though, giving her a mere nod as he handed Marcy the first pair. "Hey, that's an interesting tune. What is it?" He asked, offering to put the pair on for her and doing so quickly if she let him.

She put out her foot, "It's a part of a song I sing from time to time." She looked at the shoes the employee had left behind before leaving. A pair of black heels caught her attention, "Why don't we try those after?" she pointed at the pair.

Jay turned and grabbed the pair. "These ones?" He asked, slipping them onto her foot. "Well, I don't know about you, but they look good to me." He put the match on, and then held up a nearby mirror. "Like how they look? How they feel?"

She smiled and looked at the shoes, they fit rather nicely and they looked nice. "I like them, how about these and another pair?" She looked at the different heels, no other pair really interested her. "No, these will do."

Jay nodded. "Alright, I'll pay for them. Be right back." He took the pair and made his way to the counter, coming back a minute later with the pair in a cardboard box. "There. One pair of heels." He presented them to her. "Anything else you want to do today?"

She smiled and put on her shoes she had used on her way here. She stood up and kissed him, "I can pay for my own shoes, you know." She said with a smile and unfolded the umbrella before going outside and turning around as she waited for Jay.

Jay joined her outside, waving to the clerk as he left. "I know. But I just wanted to get you a treat, that's all." He smiled down at her. "I honestly don't mind. Didn't make a huge dent in my wallet."
