Alternate Lores: What if!

Here's another one. This time, I'll incorporate actual history to League lore.

Swain's Great Patriotic War - The Story of the Soviet Northern Front (NON-CANON)

Featuring Northern Front Swain and Northern Storm Volibear

Unlike the lore in which Jericho Swain was a natural born Noxian, Jericho Swain and his friend Mikhail Chukov was a Russian. Ever since his birth, he has witnessed events that will construct the future of the Russian land. One notable event was the Russian Revolution of 1917 where he witnessed his father murdered by the Communists. But even with a series of harsh times like the Great Purge, Jericho Swain quickly rose up in rank and became a Field Marshal at such a remarkable young age. Josef Stalin chose Jericho Swain and his trustee aid, Gregory Zhukov, to modernize the military of the Soviet Union. His friend Mikhail Chukov became a Field Marshal one year later and he has gained a nickname, Volibear, for his ferocity in battle. Soldiers respected and love the two field marshals and Swain and Volibear devoted themselves to the Soviet motherland.

In 1941, Hitler launched Operation Barbarossa, which authorized the most massive invasion in history. In September 1941, the armies of the Third Reich lay siege to Leningrad. Swain and Volibear were the two field marshals defending the battered city. Every day, the Nazis tightened their grip. People die of starvation and the Soviets could not break through the Nazi bind. Even with Stalin's no retreat order, it was futile. The Nazis might win the war as it seems, for even the empire of the West, the United States, found itself licking its wounds when Japan made its surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. Desperate to save his people and the Soviet Union, Swain and Volibear did the unholy.

One day while the Siege was going on, Swain and Volibear found a raven, sitting on a dead Russian. As the two field marshals get closer, the raven let out a screech and a demonic voice can be heard. "You shall have your triumph," the raven quote, "but the price of war will be too great for you, for you both shall forsake your life and reincarnate yourself as something you will never be. The scars of war will follow you." Swain was willing to follow but Volibear hesitated. Taking the pride of the Soviet Union, Swain let himself be consumed by the raven's power. Volibear gawked at the different Jericho Swain with horror. Volibear tried to flee from Swain but several Russians mistook him as a retreat and they shot him to the ground. Seeing his friend dead, Swain demanded that Volibear is to be alive again. The raven morphs itself into a unimaginable horrible creature and devoured the dead Field Marshal alive.

Swain would liberate Leningrad from the Nazis in 1944, but this would cost him his face, his leg, and his life. There was no one to save him except the raven. Accepting his fate, the raven feasted on the dying Swain. The two dead field marshals were reincarnated in the land of Valoran, as the raven promised, though they remember memories that they never actually done, such as Volibear being born as part of the Ursine and Swain joining the Noxian military. When the two former Soviet commanders found each other face to face in the Fields of Justice, Swain can only comment, "Dvum smertyam ne byvat, odnoy ne minovat'."
