Gregori sat out in the sun, his heavy grey cloak wrapped around him protecting him from the blistering sun as it burned over head the dull desolate landscape. Dead tree's, splintered and bleached grey from the harsh sunlight littered the Voodoo Lands with various sink holes, created from the magical storms that would sometime occur within the territory had caused many deaths for those who would travel these lands. Those of the Grey Order however knew these lands better than anyone, they knew where was safe to walk without being swallowed by the earth, where to hunt without falling prey to the beasts powerful enough to survive.
Gregori was not thinking of such things however, he was sat with his eyes closed, his head bowed and legs crossed as if in meditation, in fact he we simply waiting for his daughter to arrive.

Annie was in a bright mood today. It had been a while since she thought about anything other than burning things alive. Things were.. different today. She wanted to see her father again. She had a smile plastered on her already happy face, and she eagerly came walking up to her father as he meditated.

Gregori heard his daughter arrive, a faint smile came to his lips as he raised his head and pulled back his hood to reveal his weathered features and greying hair. A look of happiness showed in his eyes as he looked upon his pink haired girl, "Hello my little ember." He stood and looked about the lands around them, nothing was in the vicinity so they were free to practice the magic as they saw fit. He placed a hand upon his daughters head and knelt to her level to meet her green eyes with his own dark gaze, "I'm very proud of you recently and your growth in the league."
He lowered his hand from her head, "Your pyromancy is by far the the most potent I have seen in some time. But, I think we ought to tap into other schools of magic."

"But fire is ... fire!" Annie frowned at his comment of tapping into other schools of magic. She knew only a few other existed but none excited her like Fire did. She had seen Lissandra on the Fields with her black ice, and Xerath wielding arcane powers. In her own little mind, Fire was by /far/ the best school of magic. It was so explosive.
Annie didn't know exactly how to respond, so she stood still after her little comment.

Gregori chuckled at her defiance, he would look over her for the stuffed toy, "Tibbers isn't fire magic, it's fire and another kind." He smiled at her, "While fire may be the best, there are many kinds of magic that can work in conjunction with it. Just like Tibbers." He continued to kneel before Annie, "I'll give you a demonstration, there is always the chance that you may like to know another school of magic."

She tried to look optomistic in what he said. But she really wasn't. She didn't want to defy her father, so she opted to simply keep her mouth shut. She looked off into the blistering distance, the wastes ahead of her were a semi-welcomed sight. She liked being here as long as she was with the comfort of her father.

Gregori stood as his daughter looked away, she had to learn she couldn't get her way all the time, it was important for her to know more than just pyromancy. Gregori walked away from her briefly and closed his eyes, a hand raised before himself as he felt the ground around them. Where it was hard, soft, where stones were lodged in the dirt and where the weak points in the earth were. He began to focus, the earth began to quake around Annie and Gregori, cracks splintered around outward from beneath the Grey Warlock, webbing out before him and stretching far.
The raw amount of power being summoned by the Warlock could be felt all around, Annie's small form would feel as though there was a massive amount of pressure pressing down around her as the Warlock channeled his spell. Gregori's eyes snapped open, a pale white glow emitted from his eyes as the magicks flowed through him, making his will reality. Massive rocky cones suddenly began to erupt from the cracked earth that stretched before the Warlock. The 6 foot cones themselves looked normal, nothing out of the ordinary other than how they had been created. Dark brown in look, the rock looking solid and stable.
"Geomancy, the magic that allows one to manipulate the earth around them. Create mountains from sand and crumble walls to dust." He spoke softly, an odd contrast in comparison to what he had just done, the great cones of earth before him looking like they would take a great deal of effort to bring down. "Now, I would like you to try. Focus on the earth around you."
He turned to Annie with a soft smile, "Close your eyes and focus feel it, reach in with the same focus you use to call on the fire, but call on the earth instead. Call on the dirt you feel beneath your feet, try make a small cone."

What he did kind of excited the girl. She smiled at his spectacular display but in the meantime, had fell on her bum while the ground was unstable. She could take it, but when he began to talk to her after, she looked up at him with a bit of shock on her face.
She was eager to try.
A grin formed on her face and the girl dug her hands into the ground in attempts to get a better feel for what he was saying. She closed her eyes and focused as hard as she could. Over time, she would slowly become more imersed in the power and the ground began to shake as he preformed not long ago.
This one was to a lesser scale, but Annie channeled her powers to a point where she screamed at the top of her lungs, pulling her grasp out of the scaly ground and ripping the ground a few metres from them up. She seemed to have some kind of control of the object.
Except it wasn't inanimate.
An elemental took shape, and around it burned fires as if it had a molten shield. It roars loudly, Annie's eyes boiling red as she grinned.
"BURN!" She shouted, and the elemental fell inanimate. Annie could no longer poor her abilities into the elemental. She fell to the ground, breathing heavily, a look of traumatization on her face.

Gregori watched the display with an impassive expression, not even moving to help his daughter as she created the massive golem like creature from the earth and setting it alight. He knew she was capable of defending herself should it try harm her, there was always Tibber to aid her should something go wrong anyway. The Grey Warlock smiled softly at his daughter once it was over, the creature inanimate remained where it stood as he moved past it to gently embrace his daughter in a comforting hug, "Dear, that's not what I asked you to do. Are you okay?" he spoke gently to her, knowing it would have drained a lot of power to create a near sentient creature like that in such a way.

A smile crossed Annie's face after she realized what she did. She embraced her father as best as she could, a weak hug at best. She kept her eyes on the inanimate golem, and couldn't help but say, "I created that?" She let go of her father's embrace and sighed. "That was FUN!" She said loudly, looking up at him with a grin. "But I don't think I can do anything else.. for a lil while." She pouted, "Unless you have some sort of potion." She shrugged.

"A potion?" The Warlock chuckled at his daughter, "No dear, but I can transfer my own energy to you in order to allow you to try one more time. Copy what I did... Don't make another. "He looked over his shoulder at the creature, "Golem, I suppose you could call it."
There was no spectacular light show of magic as the warlock filtered his own energy into his daughter as they hugged, but Annie would feel as though she were filled to the brim with energy as Gregori released her, his face a little pale due, and his dark eyes seemed to be a little darker, but nothing else to much affect.
"Remember what I said, this time, try copy what I done but with a single cone."
