The Mercury Hammer / Cannon
Jayce's pioneering achievement, a towering hextech weapon capable of transforming to his needs - one form is ranged (Cannon), and the other is melee (Hammer). Its forms come with new abilities and attack combinations that Jayce uses. Forged with strong Milerite, and heavy wiring, embellished with the Gear of Piltover, Jayce is never without it by his side, or slung across his back in whatever way.
While in battle, Jayce's hammer/cannon has a limited amount of energy that it is charged with (200kV), and Jayce expends energy on every attack.
1 Basic attack - 1kV
Note: 1kV = 1 Kilovolts, which is basically a replacement for Jayce's already existent Mana. However I'd rather think of it in voltage than mana, since Jayce himself doesn't actually cast anything,
Jayce always brings with him 3 extra charges (200kV), stored in a capsule for him to use. However, if he does not manage to destroy an opponent before his energy is used up, he will be practically useless.
The Hammer/Cannon's main core will attempt to draw in magical energy from its surroundings and convert them into energy, due to Runeterra's plentiful magic energy. (3-10 kV per 2 seconds)
Abilities:
Innate Passive: Hextech Power Capacitor
Everytime Jayce's hammer transforms, a powerful Hextech capacitor releases the energy needed to complete the transformation. Some of the energy surge through special gloves that Jayce wears, that convert the energy into chemical energy he can use, which causes his physical abilities to increase slightly, and make him move faster.
To The Skies!: Hammer Form
Jayce's hammer is somewhat heavy, but due to configurations that Jayce has made, he is able to lift it with ease. Jayce will use this move to leap up into the sky, and smash his hammer down at the target area, causing damage to units at the location, and slowing their movement briefly.
This attack uses up 40kV.
Electric Field: Hammer Form
Jayce's hammer lets loose an electrical field worth 50kV, which surround his body, dealing continuous damage to opponents around him for 5 seconds. It takes a time of 2 seconds for Jayce to activate the electrical field effectively.
When the field is activated, each of Jayce's attacks with his hammer will restore 10kV, by stealing the enemy's magical essence.
Thundering Blow: Hammer Form
Jayce knocks his opponent back using his hammer, stunning them and slowing their movement for a few moments. The attack also breaks through the opponents armor for a moment, causing Jayce's attacks to deal additional damage.
Jayce spends 20kV on this attack.
Whirlwind: Hammer Form (Custom)
Jayce spins himself around for 2 seconds, dealing damage each half second (30kV). Jayce may move around during the duration, but his movement speed will be heavily slowed. If Jayce manages to land all attacks during the ability, he will gain +20 movement speed for 2 seconds.
Shock Blast: Cannon Form
Jayce stores 20 shock blast shells in the shaft of the cannon, which, once charged with 70kV, it will be shot out of the cannon to the opponent's direction, or whatever direction he desires. When it hits a unit, the shock blast will explode, causing damage to nearby enemies.
Once shot through an acceleration gate, it will increase in speed and size, and resets its length to a maximum.
Jayce is able to make this attack homing, if he adds an extra 10kV, but he has never tried it out so far, and it is most likely to fail.
Thecharge shot takes 1 second to fully power up.
Hyper Charge: Cannon Form
Jayce charges his cannon with 20-60kV of extra power, causing his cannon to go into hypercharge mode. Jayce is able to land 3 consecutive attacks in rapid succession, but it deals less damage depending on the energy that Jayce charges it with.
Acceleration Gate: Cannon Form
Jayce deploys an acceleration gate on a line of his choosing. It takes 4 seconds for the acceleration gate to power up fully (50kV), and lasts for 6 seconds. When Jayce runs through it, he becomes faster in every aspect
Cannon Jump: Cannon Form (Custom)
Jayce aims his cannon downward at an angle, and then fires a blast for 50kV, sending him skywards. He will be invulnerable to melee attacks for 1 second, and then he lands at a nearby location, dealing damage and also a 20% chance to stun an enemy.
Transform
Jayce's mercury hammer/cannon alternates into its other form. The next attack will expend extra energy. (5kV)
In transforming to Hammer Form, Jayce deals extra damage, a surge of energy stored into his hammerhead.
In transforming to Cannon Form, Jayce pierces through the armor of the enemy, interrupting them for a moment, and gaining a small speed boost for 0.75 seconds.

Viktor, the machine-augmented scientist from Zaun, brought Jayce an offer – together, they could use the crystal to advance his "glorious evolution," a vision of humanity fused with technology. Jayce refused, but the Zaunite had no intention of leaving empty handed. He effortlessly blasted Jayce aside and seized the crystal, incinerating the lab's meager security force as he left for Zaun. Jayce implored the Piltover government to respond, but the officials refused to support an act of aggression. He decided to act alone, realizing that if no one struck back, Piltover would never be safe.
Jayce returned to the lab to prepare for his attack. After intense research, development, and hands-on testing, he emerged with his crowning achievement –the Mercury Hammer. Weapon in hand, Jayce marched to Zaun and began his one-man assault. Viktor's acolytes rushed to stop him, but Jayce smashed them aside, fighting his way into the heart of the lab. Inside, Jayce saw the horrifying brilliance of Viktor's creations, all powered by the energy of the arcane crystal. He realized that his only option was to destroy the power source, but Viktor stood in his way. Though their clash left both scientists heavily wounded, Jayce managed a desperate strike at the crystal. He shattered it and escaped as Viktor's machines erupted in flames. MARCH 2ND, 23 CLE -- Ahri arrives at Jayce's lab to commission a sensor for finding recently deceased bodies.
APRIL 24TH, 23 CLE -- Jayce tries to help Vi escape from Piltover, and is found as a suspecting conspirator in the case.
JUNE 21ST, 23 CLE -- Jayce escapes to Zaun to visit Vi.
JUNE 28TH, 23 CLE -- Jayce leaves for Zaun again to confront his rival, without causing any trouble, of course.
