Military Training: Hilde underwent Demacian military-officer training, and later, advanced cavalry training. She is highly proficient in armed and unarmed hand-to-hand combat and riding. She is also trained in the various field skills- basic survival, map reading, navigation, sign communication. Relationships:
Family
Eltan, Duke of Rivershire - Father. Age 75. Heroic cavalier who served under Jarvan II and retired under Jarvan III 10 years ago, to establish a ranch and rebuild the ruined Ravencroft name, from a family of sorcerers and conjurers, to a military family. Hilde is very close to him. He was the one who built the Ravencroft holdings on the Borderlands, starting with a modest bungalow and a single stable. "I shall serve Demacia... by protecting its borders! heh."
Olga - Mother. Age 70. Demacian nurse turned rancher. "Hmph! Smelly animals! Hot weather! Bandits! open sky... fresh air... expansive... plains... trees... I hate it here... yes. I hate it here."
Nicholas - Younger Brother. Summoner. Hilde was also close to Nicholas up to his transference to the Institute, despite his aversion to both the family traditions and his mediocrity as a mage. The entire family as lost touch with him lately, but the Invasion had brought him home. "Er, um... ah... I'd like you all to meet... Zero..."
Lionel - Initially a political ally, later turned into her husband. Is the caretaker of the Ravencroft estate in her absence. Former State Security officer."Just retire already."
Branwen - Daughter. 18 years old. Deceased. Accompanied her mother to the city during the invasion. Slain by a fell, spectral monster.
Sigrun - Daughter. 12 years old. "Mom is so cool! er... Honor and justice!"
Grandine - Daughter. 6. Magic potential.
Daisy: - Mount, a Demacian purebreed that has served Hilde faithfully for a year now. Not a warhorse, and as such can graze on grass and is less reliant on high energy feed. "Neigh!"
Demacia:
Jarvan IV - Commander.
Sgt. Wulf - Senior man-at-arms of the Borderlands Cavalry battalion. Trained with Eltan. Trained both Hilde and Branwen.
Frejlord
Njal Windspeaker (NPC) - Storm Seer and Chief of the Thunderhoof Tribe, a nomadic tribe of horsemen who live in the steppes of outer Frejlord, in the old barbarian territories near the Serpentine River. Friend and Ally. He is progressive chieftain who advocates peaceful co-existence. He was made chieftain because of Hilde's intervention- specifically, slaying his brother Ulfric Greymane, the former Thunderhoof chieftain who wanted to increase raids and hostilities in the Borderlands. Njal assumed control of the tribe and ended all hostilities with the Borderland Guard.
For the last decade or so, they have had a mutually beneficial relationship: The garrison provides a trading post for finished goods, mutual protection and material support in tough times. The barbarians meanwhile, offer their skill of horse archery, exotic goods, and informational assistance against hostile raiders. It is important to note that Hilde is the only figure truly respected by the tribe, as Eltan was known to be... zealous in persecuting barbarians in the past.
In the wake of the formation of the Frejlordian Nation, The Thunderhoof have declared allegiance to Ashe. No significant changes to their relationship were noted after.
Nora - Njal's Daughter. A shaman, healer and brewer of potions who manages the trading post when the tribe visits the town. Is a pacifist, but protected by her pet Bear.
Frigga - A skilled horse archer of the Tribe. Friend of Hilde and teacher of horse archery exclusively to the 5th Company, as part of the Garrison's cultural exchange with their tribe. Serves as a guide and interpreter on the rare occasion she visits the Frejlord, out of their friendship. Hilde refrains from calling her for favors, as debts of gratitude among the Frejlordians are serious business.

PERSONALITY AND MOTIVATION:
The Warrior is silent, disciplined, and focused. Her experiences and lessons learned from home and the battlefield has instilled the virtue of perseverance and stoicism in her heart. More than that, Hilde has seen much in her life, and is more likely to think over a solution than take action.
The warrior believes in personal honor and right, and has seen from an early age that diplomacy, prudence and discretion are as necessary as courage and skill at arms. She believes that the meanings of right and wrong are mutable- In order to truly do the right thing, one must be willing to do wrongs.

Biography:
General:
Hilde is a loyal, long serving soldier of Demacia, a member of the Borderlands Guard primarily in the territories bordering the Bubbling Bog and the Serpentine River, and having served in the garrisons of the Howling Marsh and Marsh-Ruins of Kaladoun. A courageous and highly adaptable leader with many decorations throughout the years, she has proven to be as able as a diplomat and thinker as a warrior, doing her duty and maintaining peace and order on the frontier lands.
Noteworthy was her Garrison implementing horse archery to counter the Barbarians in skirmishes; eventually a few of the tribal chiefs came to respect Hilde. She had even been made an honorary member of the warrior lodges and eventually befriended her former enemies. She opened a trading post to accommodate trade and minimize hostilities- a far more stabilizing action than say, constant warfare.
Shadow Isles Invasion:
Hilde and a part of the 5th company, including her daughter, were in the city on the fateful day the dead came to Demacia. They were there ironically, filing for the retirement of Hilde and four others from active duty to take up civilian jobs.
Her resolve would be sorely tested during the Shadow Isle’s invasion. Forced to protect a group of civilians by having them inside a secure shelter, She ends up as the sole of survivor of her detachment, as she had been saved from death by the golems under the control of the summoners.
Hilde is returned to her home, spending weeks to recover from her wounds. For her heroism and service, Hilde was awarded an Honor Blade- a very well made blade, in the likeness of her broken Cavalry Saber. She would also be one among many survivors with a newfound hatred for the undead. She would also awake to find out her eldest child had perished in battle while on patrol.
