Teemo sniffles again, still rubbing his eyes. "But... but how? I can't run away, Father would be so angry if I did... I'd never hear the end of it. He'd lock me up for good and never let me leave Bandle. I'd be stuck guarding the gate for the rest of my life!"
Though still full of worry and doubt, when the cream-colored yordle lowers a hand there is a faint glimmer of hope in his eye.

Without taking his eyes from the bigger yordle, Veigar crosses his arms. The yordle talked with a serious, but friendly tone.
"Well, if you don't do anything due the fear of your father's shadow, you WILL be stuck at Bande forever... Come on man! Sometimes you have to take your own decisions."
He sighed slightly thinking about the first time that he went outside of Bandle without company...

These words make Teemo pause, staring in slight awe at nothing in particular. It's true, he'd be stuck in Bandle forever if he didn't act for himself. Yes... he should go out exploring. Who cares what his father says? He doesn't really care anyway. The young yordle steps forward, looking up again at the shorter, and gives him a hug.

Veigar felt uncomfortable with the hug, the hugs make him feel smaller than he already is. However, he succeeded in improve the of mood of the other yordle. Even if was weird to receive a hug from someone that he just meet, the tiny yordle hugged him back.
"So... Umm... i guess that you feel better? Right?"
It was easy to guess, due the tone of his voice, that the black yordle was feeling awkward.

Young Teemo nudges his cheek against the other yordle's for a moment before letting go and taking a step back. He gives a weary nod and rubs his eyes again, smiling this time. "Yeah... a bit. You're right, though, that I should enjoy my last few years. I don't know what to do yet, but... I'll figure something out."

The younger yordle gives a sigh of relief when the hug ends. Veigar looked at Teemo and chuckled after noticing that the other yordle was smiling. Shortly after chuckling, the black yordle said jokingly.
"Oh, you can smile after all! Haha"
Then, he looked back at the mountains at the horizon, the "Sabrestone Mountains", the walls that divide Bandle from the rest of the world.
"You know? I always have wanted to see the things that are beyond the mountains, see with my own eyes all those things that i have read in books... but I've never taken the time to explore what lies beyond this tree..."
Veigar turned his head towards Teemo again, extending his hand as he did it when he said his name.
"So, Teems, You would like to explore with me as a team?"

Teemo blinks, somewhat awed again. He slowly shifts his eyes from the other yordle's hand to the distant horizon and back. A grin breaks on his lips and he nods, eagerly taking Veigar's hand.

Veigar shaked his hand as giving a handshake, because that was what he was expecting.
"Excellent, i am sure that we are going to be good friends"
He smiled widely, the black yordle had a few friends at the library, but none of them liked to explore like him. Veigar had high expectations about the places that they were going to explore.

Teemo returns the handshake and nods. He didn't really have any friends, or was ever part of a team before. Father kept him busy with training and school took up the rest of his time. In fact, the only other yordle he really ever spent a lot of time with outside of school was his mentor and caretaker, considering how busy his father was with his job.
"Friends? I've never had a friend before... so sure! Let's be best friends, Veigar!"

Veigar looked at Teemo without believing what he was hearing... that was sad, yordles need socialise between them. It was kinda obvious that Teemo doesnt goes out often due his father.
"Hey! We should celebrate this moment! There is a great bakery at Bandle that imports products from other cities, What do you say? Cupcake time?"
It was a bit late to start to explore, but cupcakes are good at anytime.

Teemo chuckles and rubs his stomach. Cupcakes are his favorite. "Mmm... you bet! Father doesn't let me have sweets too often, but I think what he doesn't know won't hurt him. Race ya!"
And with a spurt of laughter, the young yordle turns back to the city and starts to run.

Veigar blinks before noticing that the other yordle was already running towards Bandle, Teemo was surprisingly fast but the bigger yordle wasnt counting with a detail... The cream-colored yordle does not known the localisation of the bakery. Veigar was going to say something about that, but decides to start running instead... anyways Teemo was not going to hear him.
