Again, the bastard had slipped right through his fingers, he should shoot the Sheriff for stopping him there! If it wasn't him being outwitted it was someone getting in the damn way. Fate had to be the luckiest bastard in Valoran, that or Graves had had the worst kind of luck there was to be had.
'Whoever's watchin' all this from up there's got one helluva sense o' humor...' [/i]he thought to himself, scowling. Still, there was something that could be done this time...Graves was a smarter man than people gave him credit for after all. Fate didn't just get away himself, he had just about gone out of his way to get Vi out of Piltover too. He knew how his ex-partner liked to think and would probably end up calling in a favor or two from Vi in the future for the help he gave her, which meant finding Vi could lead him to Fate.
"I got a proposition for ya' Sheriff...n' I reckon' it'll suit both our interests real nice like. Care ta' hear it?" as he said this Graves had a smoke grenade in hand under his cloak. He wasn't about to be cuffed if Caitlyn wasn't interested in a deal.

Caitlyn positioned her hat goggle, the one who had enhanced vision through Hextech engineering, to her eye as she aimed her rifle at Graves.
"Graves, you are under arrest for destruction of property, risking human life, injuring and murdering. We can do this the easy way or the hard way Malcolm. And I don't care which after today's events."
A click was sound from her rifle as she prepped it to fire. She stood 10 meters away from him, near a body of a woman she just discovered.

Graves turned around to face Caitlyn features set in stone, betraying nothing he may or may not have been planning. Just the serious scowl that was always plastered on his face whenever anyone saw him. His finger found its way into the pin of the smoke grenade and prepared to pull it to begin his get away. He stood there a few moments and the only thing missing from the old west standoff was a tumble weed blowing by in the wind as Graves stared down the barrel of Caitlyn's rifle.
"Alright then I can see you aint exactly in a talkin' mood. I never was one for words neitheir but if you think yer' cuffin' me here you done got another thing comin'." he said in that southern drawl of his.
As the last word from his mouth hit the air Graves dashed to the side firing a shot towards the Sheriff to try and force her to take cover and simultaneously set off his smoke screen immediately covering the area in a blanket of smoke. The smoke was thick and nearly impossibly to see through with the naked eye and made it hard to breath if one was standing in it. In Graves' mind it would buy him enough time to get a decent head start on his way out of Piltover. He ran down an alleyway cloak over his face so he could breath in the cover of his own smokescreen. He wasn't going to waste any time, he had no plans to ever be back in prison and wasn't about to change his mind any time soon.

Caitlyn dashed to the opposite side to avoid the shot, getting scratched on the shoulder by one of the spray bullets of Destiny. She switched her lane for thermal and dashed through the smoke, trying not to breath and to follow Graves's tracks. As before, she outran him and was on his tail rather quick. She was not going to lose him, not anyone, not again. And she was done with friends. Graves might have been her friend once but so was Vi. She had no one she could trust now and she was going to chase Graves down even if it was the last thing she is going to do.
She threw a net at Graves's feet.

Graves had just cleared the alleyway, so far so good. Turns out running wasn't as easy as Fate made it look, because as he checked over his shoulder that unmistakably ridiculous hat of Caitlyn's could be seen on a silhouette in the smoke bolting after him. There was no way he'd outrun her, especially not while having to lug his bazooka of a shotgun Destiny around. Maybe if he got to the roofs he could give her the slip, but he knew if he stopped for a second Cait would be on him. He looked around for a fire escape or something he could use as a makeshift ladder for a moment before a thought occurred to him - his new arm, he could use it to get up there no problem, or atleast that's what he thought. Turns out he wouldn't have the time to try out his new plan because as he was running Graves felt something wrap around his legs, tripping him up. His momentum and the weight of his gun carried him through the air a bit before he hit the ground - hard.
Caught. That was what frantically went through his mind. He was caught, and would probably end up in jail, AGAIN and would be back at square one. That thought alone was enough to make Graves' blood boil with anger and frustration. That thought alone was enough to spur him on. Like hell he was getting caught that easily. He wouldn't let it come to that nothing would stop his revenge on Fate.
Using the strength of his new arm he ripped the net from his legs like it was made of cheap plastic and used the rocket arm to pull himself up to the roofs and took off again. It'd take more than just a net to stop the Outlaws escape.

Caitlyn knew Piltover by heart. As Graves got to a rooftop, she was already halfway through to the top using a trashcan to lift her up to some fire escapes. She raced up to the rooftop to find Graves again. She looked for another net, noting that her net grenades are out. She cursed and instead took aim to Graves's leg, and shot to cripple.

Running across the roofs of Piltover was no easy task, especially not for the Outlaw. Never in his life had he been considered by himself or anyone else to be light footed. Tough and built strong? Absolutely. Anyone lacking strength he had wouldn't have been able to even pick up Destiny without much exerted effort, much less lug it around and shoot it with such ease as he did. For a man of his stature however, he had a good gait and pace as he ran.
Graves darted across the rooftops as fast as he could, each step heavy kicking up shingles off the roofs with each stride. He did not bothering to look over his shoulder to see if Cait was still in pursuit. He knew she was, but he figured a block or two more and he could drop to the streets again and slip away in the crowd. Noticing a gap between buildings Graves prepared to jump and just as he began to leap to clear the gap he heard a gunshot and felt his right leg give way. She had shot him in the leg.
He grit his teeth, as he forced himself to jump. He leapt lamely with the power of his only good leg and he fell short and just barely caught the roof of the building he had leapt towards. Unfortunately as he attempted to pull himself up he and Destiny's combined weight proved a bit much for that part of the roof as it broke and sent him plummeting down into the alley below for a good 2 story drop. He landed head first, knocking him out cold. He laid there in a heap in the alleyway crippled and unconscious, but alive.

Caitlyn skipped down to the surface. Graves was out cold and he was bleeding through the forehead but he was still breathing... Luckily. Caitlyn quickly took out her radio and called. "This is the Sheriff, I have an 8032.3. Yes, a large champion who carries a large weapon who fell from a large building. I request backup to haul him directly to the hospital." she said with despite on her face. She could finish him off and save Valoran the trouble but she'd rather hold such a dangerous man short. First things first though, she needed to haul him to the hospital.
Shortly after, a group of 4 men in police uniforms arrived. By Caitlyn's orders, three of them carried Graves to the hospital which was rather close there, and the oher officer took Destiny back to the station to lock it in the evidence safe. Caitlyn escorted Graves and the other officers as they went to the hospital.

When Graves awoke the first thing he noticed was that his mechanical arm had been removed. If it weren't for the fact that his head felt like someone had held him down while Trundle whacked away at the back of his skull it would've alarmed him, but instead he just sat up from the cot he was in and attempted to figure out where he was. The room was small, dark and cramped and he couldn't see a damned thing. He squinted and blinked to try and get his eyes to adjusted to the light (or lack thereof) when he finally realized where he was - in a solitary prison cell. Everything leading up to this point rushed back to him - the chase after Vi, TF, his flight from the Sheriff, even getting shot and the fall.
"I AIN'T GOT TIME FER' THIS" he bellowed smashing his fist into the wall of his cell. Every second he wasted in here was another Fate would use to disappear again. Escape. That's what was on the Outlaw's mind now, he had to get out of here. Since his arm wasn't working it'd be a bit more complicated than simply bashing the door down and beating a few guards within an inch of their lives. No matter how he looked at it he was stuck again and as this fact sank in a thought echoed in the back of his mind 'In the locker ya' ain’t got nothin’ but time to plan.' Once he calmed down that's exactly what he did. He sat in his cell, head down, a scowl plastered on his face - brooding, planning and patiently waiting. There was a chance he could talk his way out of this if he could make a deal with Caitlyn...maybe. She had just about made this entire debacle personal so there was no garuntees there. Regardless, no prison cold hold him forever, even with only one arm he would be free one way or the other. Until then he would wait.
