3rd of May, 23CLE Mogron's Pass, The Great Barrier Noon
Its been a week and a half since Decavian and his forces left Noxus. They would make better time but the Hextrucks that were supposed to carry the sand he was sent to bring had a slower pace. Another reason would be that they had to take a longer route, farther away from the institute. This decision was time costly but wise in Decavian's opinion. The farther away from the institute summoners the better. He hoped that there won't be much issues passing the pass itself though he was briefed that there may be summoners there, guarding.
Mogron's Pass was now in sight. The wall that stretched between the two mountain ranges that made the barrier may provide difficult to move through with his rather large convoy of soldiers, workers, supplies and hextrucks. He brought his elites here just in case and made sure to pack enough supplies for a month of work and a month of travel. Salted meats and fish, dried up vegetables, tightly vacuum packed bread and other rations resided in the supply caravans. Each soldier received a set of light armor due to the intense heat and two sets of clothes.
The company itself included his elite riflemen, swordsmen, mages and his most trustful lieutenants. 200 soldiers and 75 workers in total.
Decavian stopped the convoy and had the men settle. He sent two teams of two scouts each and decided to wait for their return.

Amelia's eyes were closed as the distant sounds of people woke her. She groggily opened her eyes to darkness, in an instant her heart began to pound in her chest. Her breath quickened, where was she? She felt something wrapped around her tightly restricting her movement, soft whimpers of fear escaped her lips as she struggled only to feel whatever it was fall away from her form. With shaky hands Amelia reached out to feel the soft texture, she realized it was fabric, a blanket?
She frowned in the darkness, slowly trying to sit up, still disorientated from waking in a strange dark area. She turned her head to see a pinprick of light, her eyes widened hope flickering into her expression. She clutched the blanket and slowly made her way toward the light as the sounds of the people continued to echo through-out what Amelia assumed was a cave. Had she blacked out again and transformed? If so... Where had the blanket come from? Her eyes slowly began to adjust as she moved toward the light.
Where had she been last? Demacia... With that strange cat creature with the jewels... After that? Nothing. How long had she been blacked out for? She wasn't hungry so the void creature that took over her mind had somehow been hunting she assumed. Maybe the people could help her?
Amelia stood at the mouth of the small cave, the noon sun basking her in its warmth, as she looked around she saw where she was. She was only half a mile away from the Noxian convoy as it made its way through Morgon Pass, she herself didn't know this, but slowly decided to try make her way down the mountain toward the noises of humans and the low rumbling of the hextrucks.

The skies above were a dull gray, the low-hanging clouds obscuring the Great Barrier's tall mountainpeaks. The air was hot and humid, and the scent of rain was heavy in the air - a blessing not often seen in these parts, but the southern-blowing wind likely brought humid air down from northern Valoran to these relatively parched lands.
All seemed quiet, save for the caravan and those it shared the road with....Until - faintly at first, but steadily growing louder by the moment - Those traveling the pass could hear a great noise of whooshing air, as if some gargantuan beast was flapping it's wings.
It was not until later, when the flapping had grown much louder and a great black shadow in the shape of a dragon appeared off in the clouds that the travelers realized that their initial thoughts were one hundred percent correct.

Decavian looked up as the flapping of massive wings was sound. He raised his hand, his men not moving an inch. As the flapping got louder, and louder... A massive black shadow loomed across the field. Shaped like a dragon, the same shape which appeared in the sky.
Decavian frowned and held his hand up still. Perhaps the mighty beast of legends and myth was not aggressive. Maybe it wasn't looking for a fight. Decavian was not going to see if he and his men can slay a dragon. That wasn't smart, not at all. Nor did he think that the Dragon would even bother to turn around.
As soon as the shadow moved he noticed another strange sight, a figure moving from the east towards the caravan. The figure seemed small, the size of a teenage girl. He could barely make out the details of the figure. He was starting to regret taking on this mission. He made his way closer to see if he can get a better glimpse. It was, after all, a girl. He quickly ordered two of his lieutenants to retrieve the girl and bring her to the safety of the caravan. It wasn't half a moment later when he decided to pick up the void-tracking device that he received in the briefing. The line started spiking as the girl got closer. He reared his horse and rode to his lieutenants as fast as he could, stopping them in their tracks. "Hold it." He said. He looked back to see that his men were staring at him from afar. With a gesture of his hand, a row of riflemen lined up before the convoy, aiming towards the girl. He then took off from the horse and give it to the man on his right. "John, I want you to be extra careful, okay? Take the horse and intercept that girl. Try not to scare her off, nor anger her. She may not be what she seems."

Amelia's eyes moved toward the sound she heard off in the distance, the sound causing her some confusion while she slowly made her way to where she the sounds of people had been coming from. She decided it was no big deal until she saw the shadow on the few clouds. She paused, her eyes widening, perhaps it was too far away, hopefully whatever it was doing here didn't involve the people she could hear. Her pace quickened, hoping to make it there as the shadow had made her nervous.
Eventually the Noxian convoy came into view, Amelia watched quietly while her advance toward the Noxian's slowed, unsure how she should approach the group. The girl stopped completely as two men advanced toward her, only to stop as a man upon a horse picked up a strange device and called them back. At once, a group of men lined up their rifles, aiming directly at her... Danger...
The screaming and clawing in her mind started in an instant, the creatures before her, the humans, had just made the worst possible decision. They put the girl in a situation where she felt threatened. The void creature within her stirred causing Amelia's iris' to flash a deep dark purple, not that they could see it from the distance, the Noxians would have to be extremely cautious about what they done next.

Decavian looked down at the Void tracking device as the spikes rose up higher. He immediately ordered the approaching rider to stop with a quick order and the riflemen to put their rifles down but be ready. He got down from the horse and took some binoculars to have a better look.
The girl herself seemed quite normal save for the suspicious attire. He ordered his men to stand at attention and briefed them quickly. Caution was needed because that girl was certainly dangerous, and Void. He reviewed quickly and decided that she responded to danger. He knew he was about to do the mistake of his life but he couldn't risk his men, nor the operation.
"Men, stand on guard and do not dare to lift a weapon. If I get torn to shreds you have the order to terminate the target with extreme prejudice. If that does come into order, John you will command this Op and see it through. I want the sand in Noxus in less than 2 months or I swear I'll haunt you. Got it? Good."
Decavian gave his weapons to a nearby servant and went slowly towards the girl.
