Still deep in his sleep, the scene in Ron's mind shifted.
He was now 12 years old. His father took him to Demacia on a work related trip. The great gates of the city loomed above the young Yordle's head as they entered the city from the main entrance. He didn't know much about his father's work at that time, that he was there to work on some sort of a security system for a Demacian store. It was supposed to be some kind of a big work and they were supposed to stay there for 3 weeks or so.
A carriage took them to the inn they were staying in. The room they had wasn't anything fancy though his father noted that it "wasn't too bad".
A day later they went to the store in which his father was supposed to work in. It was a pawn-curio kind of shop with many bizzare items. The owner of the store was an elderly man with kind eyes and a soft voice. His father asked him to wait outside while he discussed with the owner about the terms of their agreement. Ron walked outside and sat down on the pavement stair and watched some humans walk by. He wasn't frightened by the humans because he knew they were good to Yordles, but their size made him wary. What if they step on him?
A few moments later a bunch of human kids arrived. They weren't as large as the adult ones but they still easily dwarfed Ron who was just a little Yordle kid at that time. One of them spotted him and pointed at him, saying something to his friends. They walked towards him and circled poor Ron who was confused and started to get scared.
"Well, what'd we have here? A small little doll that some girl dropped?", said the one who pointed at him earlier with a sarcastic voice.
"I-I'm a Yo-yordle..." Ron replied, now scared.
"Then why aren't you bowing before me, freak!?" The boy replied.
"W-why would I b-bow to y-you?" He replied, trying to sound brave but without success. His voice now trembled.
The boy grabbed him by the collar and lifted him, somewhat enjoying Ron's pitiful reactions. "I'm a noble, y'know destined for greatness and money and all. You're just a freak of nature. Your very existance is to cower and show honor to people like me so they won't destroy that already messed up face of yours."
"I-I'm not a-afraid of y-you. Y-you don't have t-the righ-" His trembling voice was cut when he was thrown at the store's wall. A nearby guard walked towards them, hearing the commotion and the kids fled from the scene. Ron held his head with his hands and tears started rolling from his eyes. The scene became blurry again.
