Marcy was quite shocked as he pushed her hand away, she looked at him quite confused. She moved her hand to her chest, "W-why are you yelling at me?" She never expected this from him, not this kind of anger aimed at her. She felt hurt and actually a bit afraid of him now. "I-I just asked why you were angry..." She took a step back from him.

Jay sighed angrily. "I don't bloody care! That was my whole paycheck, and I spent it all to just get you a room! How would you like it if all your savings were lost just to get a little comfort? Huh?" He turned to her and levelled a finger. "I don't want to lose everything I have just because of some silly vacation. It's...it's..." He fumed silently for a moment and then pulled his hand back, tearing up slightly but still angry...and quiet.

Marcy's eyes teared up and tears began running down her cheek slowly, "I-I'm s-sorry Jay. I-I didn't know..." She stood there hesitating whether to embrace him or take another step back. She felt hurt and betrayed, she didn't want this to happen, that wasn't why she had come here to Bilgewater with him.
"I-I love you Jay... B-but I'm not sure if you feel the same any more..." She took a step back from him again, "I didn't want this to happen..." She looked at him for a response, her tears made it harder to see, but she could see he wasn't looking at her.

Jay was still quiet, and he just looked at Marcy. "I...I'm not sure...I think I..." He fumbled over his words, but in the wake of his anger, he couldn't say what he felt. Instead, he just looked away from her. "Just...I just can't...Marcy." He broke down and just sat besides the railing. He'd taken it too far, and knew he couldn't take back what he said. "Marcy, I'm...sorry..." He wiped the tears from his eyes quietly.

Marcy wanted to just run up to him and forgive him for what he had said, but at the same time his words hurt too much. Tears began flowing faster down her cheeks as she took another step back, "W-we are done... Jay... I... I'm returning to Noxus... Don't come after me..." She said looking on him one last time as he sat against the railing before turning around and realigning the umbrella to block the sun as she hurried back to the docks.
The trip back to the ship was rather fast, as she spent no time looking back nor returning to the inn. She just wanted to go home, away from Bilgewater... away from Jay. She made her way up on the ship, the captain approached her, "You have to buy a ticket, Miss." She just glared at him, exposing her fangs. No one wanted to mess with a sad Vampire. The ship set sail just after she had gone below deck, moving to the room she had shared with Jay. She leaned against the wall and just cried her heart out. "Why did this have to happen? Why did it have to happen to me? Why Jay?" She thought, blaming herself for asking Jay to go with her to Bilgewater.

Jay sat for a minute as Marcy left him, stunned by how fast it happened. When he recovered, he jumped to his feet and sprinted to the docks, trying to catch Marcy, but it was too late. He got there just as the boat left, watching it sail off towards Noxus. He collapsed to his knees, sobbing. He really had just let her get away...all because he lost his temper.
He sat on a crate, crying to himself as he thought over his situation. He was in a foreign land, he just broke the heart of the woman he loved who had a protective older brother, he had no money, only a few days left to stay at the inn...he was doomed. And in his sadness, he could only think of two things; how crushed Marcy must be and how quickly Ma'am Maria would kill him when he got back.
