Ahri smiled as she looked over the mountains where he pointed at. The walk seemed to be long but the journey would surely be amusing so she decided to lead the way. She gazed down at Suk and beckoned with a quick tilt from her head at him to follow her as her feet carried her over the soft ground of the Ionian forest.
Suk eyes start wandering around as she looked away to the mountains. Mostly out of nervousness though, it was hard keeping eye contact with people he never really met before. Plus if things hit the fan, it was best to find a place to scurry up to and hide in. He looked back to her, seeing her already a few feet away as he quickly ran back to her.
He looked around, pulling his hood back up as he hunched softly. "So uh..." If they were gonna be traveling together for a while, might as well break the ice. "Were you born like this?"
A soft giggle escaped her delicate pink lips as she remembered the days when she was still a white fox running across the forests, hunting with her friends and enjoying the sights of nature. Things have slightly changed now, she became a human and has gained the responsibilities of one. She has new goals, new things to achieve: She wants to become a part of the human society and be treated as one. She gazed down at Suk with a soft smile and said.
"Not really, I was just a white fox when I was born..."
Suk heard the giggle that escaped her lips, and just stared at her. Well... Suppose that was an answer then. However, she stated that it wasn't a born trait, and he slowly looked away. "Oh..." He said softly. Maybe... Maybe he was the only one like this. None are born this way now, only creatures are. Though it was interesting to see how she was a fox turned human, and not the other way around.
"Well... That's interesting. Is... Is being human going g-good?" He asked, "You know... Walking amongst them... Unless you aren't generally l-liked by them either." He mumbled, looking away a bit embarrassed.

"It is quite interesting... it's a whole different world from what I am used to."
She looked at him and smiled before she looked forward and stopped as her ears twitched. She sniffed the air and shrugged before she carried on, an odd scent was carried by the wind, but it wasn't too alerting.
Suk had lifted his snout to the air as well, nostrils flaring only a little as he took in the peculiar scent. Then again, there were many new scents in this area, including her own. Smelt funny though, maybe it was perfume, but even then he wouldn't know what that was. Monks didn't use perfume. "Right... So, what else do you do around here than? Besides, walk around. Do you have a home amongst the human civilizations, or do you just live out from them?"
He walked by a bush, bundles of berries on them. He leaned in, sniffing them for a little bit. He may have lost touch with the mainlands of Ionia, but he could tell the difference between good, spoiled, and poisonous foods. Even with living amongst the monks he kept those instincts he knew would be useful. Seeing it was good, he plucked a berry, putting it in his mouth as he let the sweet flavor settle in before he took another...
And another...
And another...
Oh dear... Someone obviously hasn't eaten a little while...

While her feet carried on, Ahri remained distracted by the lovely elements of the woods that surrounded her. The melody mixed in with the different scents that formed a unique perfume had her senses captivated while her eyes admired the green beauty of the trees and the colorful arts of the flowers and different types of plants. If Ahri had the chance to build her own home, she would probably have it within these woods that she worshiped so much. The lovely summer breeze grazed against her skin and made her body shudder as it was wrapped up in a pleasant sensation, but it also snapped her out of her current state which let her notice that Suk was not following her but was however, distracted by what seemed to be a tree covered up in delicious berries.
The Vixen's honey eyes gazed upon the blessed tree that seemed to be offering its tasty fruits to whoever passes by as a sign of generosity and good will. The tree may be different from the humans, but it had its own feelings and emotions... Pain, joy, satisfaction, all fulfilled by different type of actions and Ahri perfectly understood that since she lived among nature for a long time before she turned into what she is today. Her gaze looked across the wide numbers of berries that were at display and licked her lips as she decided to pick three off the tree, gently grabbing them and picking them off the branch while she felt their soft texture with her delicate fingers. She decided to keep two for later and ate one of them to taste the cuisine of this generous tree.
The creamy juice of the fruit spread across her tongue and filled her mouth as her teeth ripped off the flesh of the savory fruit, making the most out of its taste before she carefully swallowed it and enjoyed the last bit of sweetness in her mouth before it vanished along with the fruit. It was a delightful moment for her and the fruit was absolutely marvelous. She looked over at Suk and smiled as she watched him enjoying himself and filling up his stomach. It was better for him to be ready for the journey and be full rather than suffer from the hunger and not find anything on their way back to his home, because Ahri's meal may differ from his meal which may not be too good for his body if he is not used to it.
Suk hadn't really taken time to really savor the sweet taste of the berries. The only thing he was able of eating this weeks was perhaps two fish a day. His jaw quickly snapped at the berry in his hand, quickly chewing to try and fuel up for their journey ahead. Whether this would actually help, or if it will go right through him, he doesn't really know for sure. What he DOES know is that food was food, and he was damn hungry.
It was only when he looked over to see Ahri smiling at him did he stop for a moment. He swallowed what was in his mouth, wiping the juices on his robes with a small embarrassed smile. "S-Sorry... I was just uh... H-Hungry was all." He said, before clearing his throat. "Perhaps we should just take some for the road?"

Ahri's hand came to cover her tender pink lips as she let a cheerful giggle escape from their grasp. Her beautiful amber eyes peered into Suk's reptilian eyes, nodding as she said. "Yeah you are right, it would be good if we had something for the road to enjoy ourselves with." She looked around her and tried to think of a way to carry a good amount of berries without holding them in their hands. But what could nature probably give her to achieve such task? Her sharp gaze kept scanning the area while her mind remained busy trying to think up of something.
That was until she finally found a lonely lily pad that seemed to have been carried by one of the animals around but was left behind for a certain reason. A bright idea popped in her thoughts as she picked it up and went to a nearby tree. She began to scratch the hard brown wood with her delicate nails as if she was trying to remove the bark, and if one understood nature as much as Ahri did, they would realise that she is trying to recover some sap; to make a little bag with the lily pad to be able to carry the delicious berries. The tree finally rewarded her efforts as it released a decent amount of light brown sap that covered Ahri's white fingers. A satisfied smile curved on her bright lips as she began to work on the lily pad, bringing the sides together to finally make a small bag out of it.
After she was done she grabbed some leaves off the ground and wiped her hands with it before looking up above her as if she was thanking the woods for giving her what she wanted as a reward of her efforts and cunning senses. She stood up and brought the lily pad bag to Suk, handing it over to him so that he could fill it up with berries that they could consume throughout their journey, and who even knows when it could come in handy other than simply carrying berries around? So many things could be done with nature to benefit you without harming its elements.
Suk looked to her as she spoke to him, before briefly looking away with a nod as shortly sharp fingers scratched the back of his scaly head. He could never of outmatch those deep oceans of amber wonder with his shallow ponds of gold. God she was beautiful, and he was so... Well... This. Not to mention this time, he could actually confirm that she had beautiful eyes, and not just great "eyes" either.
He felt awkward just standing there as she did all the work. He wanted to move and help, but his body just seemed to freeze and refused to budge. He had a feeling she was searching for sap. The mountain tops held very few trees in the thin air, and those that were there weren't big, contained little to no sap. Their leaves and bark did prove their worth to the small village however. He could definitely tell this woman, or fox, was more close to nature and not civilization.
He gave a small thank you to her as he began to pick the best berries for the road, making sure to get as much as he could without breaking the pouch. While doing so, he thought that it was best to keep some sort of conversation going. "S-So... What's this Institute I hear about so much? The monks told me a-a little bit about the people from here who go there, a-and the different nations, but what else is there?"
