Marcy marched across the streets of Noxus in the light of the moon, she had no intention on walking past Morgana's shop o, she just wanted to come home. Her she had rings under her eyes from lack of sleep, being on the sea wasn't easy for her. It didn't help that she had broke up with Jay in Bilgewater earlier.
When the ship had set sail in Bilgewater she had realized she had forgotten her bag with vials of blood in the room Jay had rented for them, so when the ship docked outside of Noxus, some of the crew had bite marks on their necks. She had lured them down one at a time during the trip just to keep herself alive until she arrived at home. It was the first time in several years she had forced someone to give her blood, and she didn't like it.
The streets of Noxus were empty as she hurried across different alleyways to get home as fast as possible. She felt hurt and betrayed. Jay's words had hurt her harder than she thought was possible, she didn't know that words, just plain words could hurt so much.
The streets got wider as she approached the foot of the mountain, and soon she could see her house, she knew Marcus was home. As soon she reached the front door she swung it open then slammed it close again, walking into the living room and throwing herself on the couch and burying her face in a pillow.

Marcus was enjoying his time to himself. The down time allowed him a great amount of time to train. But it would appear that was coming to an end, he heard the door slam shut in the other room. He walked out to greet Marcy and jay, but only saw Marcy. He thought Marcy must have come ahead briefly while Jay got something, but then he heard the very soft whimpers coming from his sister. He rushed over to her side, kneeling down by her and stroking her dark silky hair. He didn't say anything, he knew his sister would talk when she was ready to talk.
Just because I'm an assassin doesn't mean I can't have some fun, I'll be alive for a long time after all.
Marcy didn't notice that she had passed Marcus on her way into the living room. The sister turned her head and looked at him with tears in her eyes and dark blue rings under her eyes. She put an arm around him and pulled him closer to her. "... I-I did... s-some.. thing bad..." She stuttered with her shaking voice. "I... Jay... w-we b-broke... up..."
Thinking of Jay made her cry more, she really had loved him, she still did though. What he had said to her was still fresh in her memory, it made her feel hurt and betrayed. She tightened her embrace around her brother and closed her eyes.

Marcus held his sister against him, trying his best to find the words to express how he felt. He hadn't had much interaction with Jay, and didn't particularly mind him, but Marcy said that she had done something wrong, not him. Of course she could just be trying to protect him. But one way or the other Marcus was not happy with the human right now. He hugged his sister tighter humming a lullaby their parents used to sing to them into her ear. "It's going to be alright Marcy. I'll always be here for you, for better of for worse." Marcus sighed internally. He would have to either keep Jay away from her, or get them to talk it out. He was all for making Jay stay away from her. By peaceful or violent means. But he knew his sister would atleast want to try to patch things up with him. She was so hopeless when it came to things like this. He let out a quick smile and kissed Marcy's forehead. "You'll be ok sis."

Marcy's uneven breathing calmed down a bit as the lullaby, once used by their parents to help them sleep at night, was hummed to her. She didn't move much else than needed for her to breathe, she did her best to smile at his words. "I... H-hope... so.." she whispered, "... I s... still... l-love him..."
She hoped Marcus wouldn't do anything against Jay, even though his words had hurt her she still loved him very much.

Marcus sighed and brought his sister closer to him again. Letting a final squeeze come out before breaking the hug and looking in her eyes. "Tell me what happened." He whispered. He knew that his sister was thinking he might hurt Jay, and he still might. It simply depended on his sisters response.

Marcy looked into Marcus' eyes. What was she going to to tell him? That Jay had snapped randomly and yelled at her? That she ticked him off enough to make him snap? She took a few breaths before she opened her mouth to speak before closing it again. Her tears flowed down her cheeks, "I... He... I... m-made... him a-angry..." It was rather difficult for her to speak about it, or speak in general at the moment.
After a few more deep breaths she steadied her voice long enough to finish a sentence without stuttering, "I made him angry and he yelled at me... It's all my fault" She added. In her eyes it was all her fault, she had made him angry by ticking him off like that, had she just shut up instead she'd still be by his side.

Marcus sighed as his sister gave her explanation. She was afraid Marcus would try to hurt Jay. "You don't need to try and save him, unless he actually hurt you, I won't be hurting him anytime soon dear sister." Marcus hugged his sister once more and held her against him, just in case she needed to cry again or if she wanted too. He calmed himself, letting his slight temper go down. 'I swear I won't hurt him unless you tell me too, ok?" He smiled at his sister and crossed his legs as he waited for his sisters response to his joking.
Just because I'm an assassin doesn't mean I can't have some fun, I'll be alive for a long time after all.
Marcy tried to focus but her thoughts were all over the place. Going from her mother and father and running back to Jay and away to her last job. She didn't listen to what he said, instead she slid down from the couch and leaned against her brother's shoulder whilst sitting in his lap.
"I-I'm a-a mess..." She whispered and embraced him.
Marcus hugged his sister against him once again, brushing her hair with his nails, trying to straighten it as much as he could. "You look fine Marcy." Marcus sat there with his sister for some time. Their breathing the only sound in the room. After some time he finally stood up and went to the other room, bringing back 2 cupcakes. "I got these as a welcome home present." Unbeknownst to Marcy, Marcus had just ate the third one meant for Jay, so she wouldn't cry over that too. He hated seeing her sad like this.
Just because I'm an assassin doesn't mean I can't have some fun, I'll be alive for a long time after all.
Marcy's world was in ruins, the love of her life was gone. Hurt by the only person she didn't expect to get hurt by, betrayed by him when she needed him the most. When her brother left she leaned against the couch until she heard him return into the room.
She wiped her tears with her forearm and looked at him, she noticed two cupcakes in his hands and put out her hand and waited for him to give her one of them. When he did she'd take a bite from it. She always had loved cupcakes, after she swallowed she'd look down on the cupcake. "One hell of a vacation..."

Marcus sighed as his sister finished her cupcake and sadness came back into her whole form. He had a small suprise for her but he wasn't sure if he should share it now, or wait. But he couldn't bare to see his dear sister hurt any longer and decided to tell his plans to her. "Marcy I have a surprise for you, I've been saving up some money..." He put his hand on her shoulder reassuringly. " I think I'll be able to buy us a small bar, for you to sing at and all our friends to come too." Marcus wasn't particularly skilled at comforting people, and Marcy most likely knew this was his attempt at distracting her but it was better than seeing her upset for even a moment longer.
Just because I'm an assassin doesn't mean I can't have some fun, I'll be alive for a long time after all.
Marcy looked down at her now empty hands, she closed them and buried her nails in her palms. She seemed to fade away for a second, to fall deeper into sadness until Marcus spoke. She snapped out and looked with bloodshot eyes at him as he spoke. A surprise? What kind of surprise could help her now? She felt his reassuring hand rest upon her shoulder, moving closer to him.
"I think I'll be able to buy us a small bar..." the words rang in her head as he spoke to her. A bar? She was unable to come up with a sentence that would thank him enough for it. She put her arms around him and instead of crying she sighed with a rather happy tone. It felt good hearing some good news for once, it was a warm feeling. "...Thank you..." she whispered and hugged him tighter, "...you have no idea how much you mean to me..." Marcus wasn't exactly famous for his... comforting skills... And has time had taught Marcy she knew when he tried, and it was that that mattered.
She was beginning to feel hungry, something she hadn't truly felt for some time. "I'm hungry..." she said "Like... I want eat something..." now that she was thinking on it, it had been almost four days since she had a real meal, blood on the other hand had been just a few hours earlier. "Can we get steak sent here?"
