It was an annoyance to be sure when the Ionian officials caught wind of the presence of two particular Champions that had seemingly slipped right past their security. While nothing was going wrong, per say, they felt rather uncomfortable by their presence. One Cassiopeia du Couteau and one Talon. The former was nowhere to be found, but some had spotted the latter conversing with another familiar Champion - the multi-tailed fox, Ahri.
Three of the officials made their way over, pushing gently through the celebrating crowd to the outer ring of the festival. One stopped Talon short, barring his way. He held his hand out, gesturing for the Noxian to stop.
"Champion Talon," one officer began rather gruffly, his hands held tight at his sides. They were unarmed visibly, but the Ionians knew better than to confront a master assassin without some form of protection. "I'm afraid we're going to have to ask you to leave. Though you may claim you pose no threat, this festival is to celebrate the defeat of Noxus - as such, I hope you understand our concerns. You will have to leave, either from your own free will or not is your choice."
A message had been sent to the official's hextech receiver, stating that they have found Cassiopeia and that they had offered the same. To leave of her own accord or to be escorted off the island.

Karma returned the gesture elegantly.
"The pleasure is all mine Irelia. I must say,you have really outdone yourself on the festivities. But remember not to overexert yourself, this day is dedicated to all,and that includes you.I really hope you would set some time aside to fully enjoy the festivities yourself"
Her words had a twinge of concern to it.She was genuinely happy to see Irelia, and felt that she of all people deserved to be enjoying this very day.
However she could sense her thoughts were someplace else. She did a quick survey of the event, and finally laid her eyes what looked like a growing congregation of champions. In the center of it all,was Ahri and a man that looked suspiciously like Talon. She now viewed the whole affair with more clarity, given the discord between the the two countries,a champion from Noxus would definitely attract animosity among the Ionians. Her face remained impassive as she wordlessly watched the scene unfold.Nevertheless, the Noxian would be heard,it would be mockery of Ionian customs if one of them draw steel without good reason.

Ahri's face expressed some sort of irritation when the guard stepped in on Talon and her, cutting her off as she was about to converse with the man she has sought to know more about. Her charming eyes shifted to a more threatening ones as she glared at one of the officers, although she wasn't gonna start any trouble, it was a threat for a later date if she ever crosses him again, her tone was dry and cold as she replied, gesturing to Talon not to speak.
"I'm not gonna argue about politics and how the assassin is not directly related to the war, but know that this day is supposed to be more than a simple celebration of victory, this day, in my opinion, is supposed to be a gathering day, where we forgive and enjoy our time with everyone."
She gazed back at the assassin, asking him to forgive her for this disturbance without saying anything. She felt embarrassed that all of this had to happen, and a bit bitter that she's forced to leave him on this low note, after all, she wanted to draw herself closer to him, and that opportunity was taken to a halt because of those pesky guards.
"Talon, you may have to leave now, but I do hope we will meet up again in a much more pleasant place, where people wouldn't care about your birth place or from where you come from..."
Ahri glared back at the officers, gritting her teeth briefly before spitting out her words at them.
"I'm gonna discuss this issue furthermore with Irelia, you can leave now, he won't trouble you no more."

Talon looked from one official to the next, his mood darkening as his eyes passed from one to the next. He could already feel the subtle hints of anger in himself, the only emotion he felt he truly knew. With a clenched jaw and narrowed eyes and a voice dripping contempt, he spoke, "I suppose I was incorrect in the assumption that your people were interested in peace and understanding. Were I here to kill, my target would be dead. Were I here to incite a riot, your people would scream and fight in the street. If I were here to upset the tenuous balance you cherish, your blood would run cold in the gutters. It had not even occurred to you that I might wish to celebrate peace, simply because I am Noxian? You speak of open-mindedness..."
The official in the center had the luck to be the one Talon placed a hand on the chest of and shoved aside to clear his path to leave. It was none too nice a shove, easily strong enough to topple the man into his compatriots or the ground if he was not careful. As he continued past them, he finished speaking, the disgust in his voice palpable, "Practice it sometime."
When he was a fair distance away, he looked back to glance at Ahri. They would meet again, for there were still questions that needed answering, things only she seemed to know, to understand. He had no idea if she were watching, nor if she cared to, removing the false splash of red about his neck in anger and letting it fall to the ground. Perhaps a beggar could use it. He needed his own cape back, his weapons. He needed to feel the tranquility of murder and it was lost on him exactly how twisted that thought was, not even thinking of a target, simply wishing to end a life out of bitter distaste.
Twisted Fate was about to argue, but it seems Evelynn did not change since they dated. As she dragged him around mentioning something about having "fun". There were very few things Evelynn considered fun. However, considering how she waved down Ahri, who then left it became clear as to what "fun" she may have planned on, "Well Eve, Ah reckon' we just got blown off." He said before looking around at some of the festival games, "We can keep lookin' fer' others or stick round' here n' enjoy some games till Ahri comes back."
Evelynn sneers at the fox woman as she walks away, only to look around, "...Thanks for stating the obvious..." Her eyes wonder around the festival once more... Who to- They stop at the bar, Graves... She smirks and pulls Twisted Fate along, "Care for a drink Fate?" She stands close to Graves, purposefully so that TF and Graves were rather close... "Oh hello Graves! I didn't see you there... How's the manly rebel going hmmm?"
Was she late? Early? Didn't matter, fact was Skylark had arrived exactly when she intended to. The first route the sky pirate took would carry her towards the bar not caring how much she might stand out in the crowd. She wasn't exactly the most well dressed. In fact, she had more the look of a wanderer then anything. Her gaze floated about the crowd for familiar faces - one being Twisted Fate who seemed to be entertaining a rather odd looking woman at the moment. She'd shrug a bit and make her way through the crowds. It'd been a long time since she'd been home. Her clothing and heritage making it clear this was where she belonged - renounced or not.
As Sky reached the bar, she'd order some sake with fingers drumming along its surface. Ethereal violets flitted about curiously, though she wouldn't immediately seek to speak with anyone. The only person here that drew her focus was Twisted Fate after all. And he was busy.
"Maan.." She groaned a bit, throwing the shot of sake back with ease. "There's got to be something worth doing here.."

Almyra decided that she was growing thirsty, she walked out of the water and put her boots back on. Still soaking wet from her fall, she sat down at the bar, ordering some water. She looked around at the others again. All but one new arrival, who had the appearance of a fellow wanderer, seemed busy talking. She merely observed them, watched how they interacted. She gave a slight shiver as her wet clothing began to grow cold. She found herself somewhat annoyed at the shark that had startled her earlier, along with its owner.

Sky's gaze fell on the soaking wet woman with eyebrows rising slowly. She'd slap a few gold pieces down and move over to the seat beside her, "You'll need more then that if you want to warm up." Smirking. The Ionian leaned against the bar with her elbow propped atop it, "Want some sake?"
Before Almyra could respond (if she does) Sky was already ordering a full bottle, and another sake glass. She'd pour the woman a drink before refilling her own, "Who'd you piss off anyway?" Motioning lazily towards her wet clothing.

Almyra tilted her head slightly at Sky's offer. She knew little in the names of food or beverages. She mostly just drank water, some drinks offered by other people made her feel... strange. "Sake? What is sake?" She looked down at her clothing again. Pissed off? What did that mean? She looked back at Mai. "I am unsure who I 'pissed off,' I was standing in the water and a large shark startled me, I slipped and fell."
John smirked and looked down at Erica. "So, anywhere you want to head first?" Erica pondered for a few seconds before pointing at the table where Irelia was seated and responded. "Can we say hi to heeer~?" He slowly turned, following her finger and spotted who she was pointing at. "Ah, she might be a bit busy, you sure?" Erica crossed her arms and her brows angled downwards, while obviously irritated, it was hard being that even then she seemed to be trying to smile. John stared back blankly for about ten seconds before sighing. "Right I can't argue with that, you lead the way..." She smiled and quickly turned, heading towards Irelia, John a few steps behind.
Sky smiled as she nudged the sake towards Almaya, "It's a mix between fruity and a little dry. It's good! Totally should try it." She'd lift her own and drank it down in one go. It was quite smooth, and didn't have a harsh aftertaste like people would expect of most alcohol. She also didn't exactly order anything cheap. The Sky Pirate clearly knew what she wanted.
As she heard mention of a shark, Sky would pause and look oddly at the other woman. "Eh?" Lifting an eyebrow sharply with one eye slightly pinched, "Are you feeling okay?" Teasing a little, "Naw, you don't look sick. Must just need to drink some sake."

Ahri watched Talon as he disappeared under the veil of the dark night, with a satisfied smile covering her lips. Even though the whole encounter didn't go as expected, she knew deep down that she'll see his face one day or the other if Destiny allowed her to. She contemplated his distant silhouette before turning her attention on the red splash that fell softly on the ground, like a feather coming down from the skies.
The Fox raised her eyebrow and curiously stared at the red fabric; perhaps it's a good a idea to pick it up and keep it with her until their next encounter? It might also be a good way to remember this mysterious man who has left his marks in Ahri's thoughts. Never had she felt such sensation by simply looking into a man's eyes, those cold, frozen eyes, which hid so much inexplicable emotions, yet they were very intriguing.
She slowly moved on the warm, soft sand, getting closer to the object that was in her line of sight. With a hand resting on her chest, she lowered herself and picked up the scarf, feeling every bit of its texture against her sensitive skin. She rolled it around her neck elegantly, making sure it blended with her dress even though the colors didn't match. It seemed like it created some sort of fancy contrast between the navy blue of her dress and the red of the splash.
Cassiopeia sneers when she gets the message, she eyes those who gave it to her, eyes shining silver she was about to turn them to stone... The silver fades from her eyes, "Ionian tolerance? You are nothing but racists... I had nothing to do with the invasion..." She spits a glob of purple acid the feet of the one who had requested her to leave, she slithers away from the party, the acid beginning to eat away at the floor sending purple wisps of steam into the air... She would be gone within a few moments. ((Seriously..))
Almyra looked briefly at the drink, then picked it up and took a sip. She didn't give any indication of whether or not she liked it. It wasn't bad, she had certainly drank worse. She put the drink down again. "Yes, I am fine. It was a shark though, a small blue creature was feeding it. I think he called it 'Chomps' as he did so." This "sake" didn't make her feel any warmer, perhaps she needed to drink more. She picked up her glass and quickly downed it.
