Three of his top recruits, all absent-without-leave, and all reported to have left the city on the exact same day. Needless to say, Girard was both disappointed and more than slightly concerned, especially after they had not returned for several days. What the Cryomancer needed at this point was information which he could then act upon, something that - in this case - he sorely lacked. However, that was soon to be corrected.
He had summoned another of the recruits to his office, a young Zaunite by the name of Adalwolfa. She seemed to be an associate of all three recruits, and had not disappeared when the other three did. If anyone knew where Zac, Vi, and Andrei went, she would be the one.
Girard was presently in his office, the office itself being one of the few completed rooms within the barracks itself. It was sparsely decorated and pleasantly chilled, likely due to the Cryomancer's own aura of cold. The Cryomancer himself sat behind his desk, patiently reading an ancient Ionian tome as he awaited Adalwolfa's arrival.
Adal walked into the office the cold on the room was pretty obvious and Laurentine was sitting on his desk reading what seemed to be an old Ionian book “I was informed that you solicited my presence…well here I am in what I can be of use sir?” she asked showing her politeness to a superior.

Girard placed a small slip of paper in the leatherbound tome before closing it and setting it upon his desk, the frost creeping over it's pages receding just enough for the title to be legible: The Art of War. "Adalwolfa. Take a seat." He gestured to one of the nearby chairs before continuing. "It is my understanding that you are an associate of both Vi, Zac, and Andrei. Am I correct?" He folded his hands, crossing his fingers with his index and middle fingers raised and resting his elbows upon the desk. "Are you also aware that exactly four days ago all three went absent without leave on the same day?" Girard's icy gaze bore down upon Adal, almost as if he was digging through her mind for the answers himself.
“And here I thought they at least had said good bye to you” she responded unfazed as Laurentine asked her “Yea they went to Piltover…all of them…in the same day…for the same reason” she said a little annoyed she had expected that Vi would run back to Piltover at the first sign of trouble but Zac and Andrei going with her was a surprise and not an gradable one. “I suppose that a man as well informed as you would know the reason of Vi going as for the blob and can head going after her…it escapes my mind…maybe they are just chasing tail…if Zac is into humans and not Jell-O” Her response wasn’t as professional as one would expect but she was a new recruit and out of the oddballs in the camp she was one of the most “stable”

Girard nodded slowly. "I see. Yes, I have heard rumblings of trouble in Piltover, and yes, I may have expected Vi to take a leave of absence... But I did not expect for her to take Zac and Andrei with her as well, and to leave without any word as to where she was going."
Girard stood, his gaze set to a window which overlooked the training yard. "I will send a message to Piltover requesting word of their whereabouts, as well as requesting that they return as soon as they are able to continue their training - Or sign documents of formal resignation, if they so desire. Adalwolfa, I want you to remain on standby in case you are needed. You know those three better than I, so you are more likely to know where they would be within Piltover...I would send you to retrieve them immediately, but you would likely be arrested on-sight as a Zaunite spy. Vi and Zac have champion status, and Andrei likely got in via association..." Girard looked down slightly and massaged his temples. "You have been most helpful to me, Adalwolfa. Thank you for your service. You may return to your duties."
“Well glad to be of help” she said getting up “…I would start looking for them in jail something as st…raight forward as Vi would have gone to Caitlyn first and landed herself and maybe a couple more in Jail in the process.” She said trying to think logically about the situation “sigh this seems like a bothersome problem I don’t envy you at all” she said leaving the room “About that sending me…I may be able go without being arrested trough the diplomatic route…I have a…person I know in the Piltover medical corps so after entering it wouldn’t be that difficult to locate them…in case of the card not getting responded I mean.”

"I will send the message to the Enforcer's office directly." Girard replied, turning to Adal and smiling lightly. "And I will be sure to take that knowledge into account if your services are needed. You have been a great help, Adalwolfa."
Although Girard's exterior remained pleasant and collected, his thoughts were anything but. He was legitimately concerned for his recruits, even though he did his best not to appear invested in them. After all, they were only his until Zaun could stand on her own two feet...However, it still made him worried that he had heard nothing from any of the absent individuals, but there was little that he himself could do at this point.
