Location... Ironspike Mountains/ North of Noxus. Date... 17th of November, 23 CLE. Current Time... 15:52 / 3:52pm.
Well, I suppose it is time go back home. The sun is slowly sinking at the horizon and I better not end up staying here for the night. This wasn't really a bad day I guess, got me a mountain goat that will surely keep me good for the night and the morning. Hopefully the wild dogs won't scavenge it if I ever leave it outside... Like always. I wonder how my parents are doing, and whether or not Noxus is fine. Ugh, hopefully they got rid of that Darkwill, you can't have a worse ruler than him; Leading us into war in Ionia and allowing the murder of innocent people, what a pathetic waste!
Hmpf, but I have to shrug off these thoughts, at least I was able to prevent one murder out of thousands, which is... *sighs* It's still terrible when you think that there were other murders in Ionia because of your own state which you loved and held dear to your heart...
Aaron made his way to the shack, placing the hunted goat by the door as he went to get all the necessary materials to make a fire outside.
So, four, five, six... alright, perfect amount for a camp fire, this would do the trick. Hmm, where is that little rascal? Heh probably sleeping, I'll wake him up when I finish cooking the meat.
He started to toss in the wood he gathered on top of each other before arranging them in a way where he could get a decent fire.
And this... is... the last one! Voila! I guess this should do it. Now to light it up and... there we go. Ah, so warm, kind of reminds me when I used to sit alongside my mother and father by the fire in our mansion and talk about fun things... I miss them so much. Heh heh, then again, I can't really see them until I prove my innocence, and I am not even sure how I'll pull that out. Ah well, I'm not complaining of my life so far so I guess I still have time to think. Now let me grab that goat and prepare the meat.
Hmmm, the meat looks quite juicy compared to what I used to get, this is perfect! Now where did I place the stic- oh here they are. Hnnng, aaaand... gotcha! Well, five big pieces of meat, and probably a few more left. Alright! Let's start cooking Aaron.
Aaron placed the pieces of meat above the fire and spent about thirty minutes to cook them while he gazed at the fading sun.
What a beautiful view, it's something I could have never seen at Noxus at all. I guess I prefer the outside world rather than the city, but this is not as beautiful as Ionia. Ionia was something different, it was like... paradise. All those beautiful views, it always seemed to be spring in Ionia and nature looked so young and beautiful... just like the women there, heh heh. But I will never forget the face of that one girl... Leya. Those eyes were so mesmerizing and I just can't forget her sweet smile when she was healing my wound. I really felt like my heart was about to rip out of my chest and offer itself to her... That sounded a bit gore-ish... But whatever. Well, the meat is done, gotta wait a few minutes to let it cool for a tad bit. I'll just lay back on this rock and stare at the beautiful sky...
Hmm...I wonder what day it is...
I'm not even sure how old I am... Last I remember I was twenty... nine? Yeah, twenty nine... Maybe I'm thirty or thirty one, it's hard to notice the seasons up in these mountains. Time flies by pretty quickly, I may even be older than what I think I am, who knows. *Sniffs* Hmmm, this meat smells delicious, I can already feel this is going to be an amazing dinner! Now I have to go and get that lazy cat... *whistles* " Dagger! Come here, dinner's ready! " Hopefully he's awak- Oh look who's here! Hahaha. " You're really adorable you know that? Now come get your food and let's eat together. "
Aaron picked up a medium sized meat and placed it in front of Dagger. He reached for the wooden plate he made on his own and got himself a bigger piece of meat before he sat down next to Dagger.
Hmmm, wish I could come across these goats more often, this is really good... And I have to go and get some supplies from Piltover, I'm almost out of whetstones and I need to get myself a few other stuff; You can't really hunt without the proper materials at your disposal heh. Location... Ironspike Mountains/ North of Noxus.
Date... 18th of November, 23 CLE.
Current Time... 08:30 / 8:30am.
Well, I guess I packed all the rations I need for the journey, and I left enough food for Dagger until I get back. It doesn't feel that cold outside so I will be fine, hopefully. Just gotta make sure Ebonite is by my side just in case another foolish mercenary attempts to chop my head off. Alright, I guess I'm all ready, time to go for Piltover, hopefully I'll be there by the night or tomorrow morning.

Rudmed wandered the roads to the north of Noxus, he had some suspicions of the city state, but no solid evidence that anything truly sinful was being committed within those walls. The same could not be said for those who reside within those walls. Katarina, Swain, and Urgot were a few examples of such sinful characters that walked free in those walls. Perhaps no Noxian was untainted, all had the taint of some injustice that they committed. He would be surprised to find one cleansed of their sins or perhaps untainted. Unless they were a babe, those that young had a chance to grow up without sin tainting them. Such hatred toward Noxians, one would think he was a loyal Demacian, however the cleansing wanderer preferred not to associate himself with a city state. No, that could bias his true judgement of clean and damned humans or other beasts that wander the lands of Runeterra. Granted, he would argue that Noxus was deserving of such hatred given their invasion of Ionia, and in the past a desire to do battle with Demacia at every turn.
He walked the roads, for once, lost in his thoughts and speculation when he looked up again he saw another traveler. A man no doubt, with an odd symbol below his eye, and How intriguing, who was this man and why was he wandering so close to the Ironspike mountain? There was not settlement in this part of the wilderness for many miles. His curiosity got the better of him, "Hail traveler, who are you and what is your destination that makes you take this long and lonely road?" He would inquire to the man before him curious as to why the man did not use more traditional and busier roads. The answer for Rudmed was easy, he preferred being remaining unseen to the eyes of the public, however another reason is that the less savory individuals tend to take these roads. Making them perfect hunting grounds for one such as himself.

Such a lonely road, no signs of life around, nothing seems to be moving here at all... Just a plain wasteland, desolated, sad and depressing. I wonder how Noxus was even able to settle down in such place and it's only a few miles away... Then again, we Noxians are strong people despite the misunderstandings that could go around and despite the corruption rising into power. I'm kinda half proud to be Noxian but on another side I am not because most of the people look at me in a funny way when I tell them I'm Noxian, and saying that I'm an ex-military assassin would make things worse, but I would never say that, that's just crazy. Huh... A traveler? What is that man doing here... Don't tell me I have to pull out my dagger and kill another assassin that's looking to get my hide and bring me back to Noxus... Guess I have no choice...
Aaron pulled out Ebonite and stood still as the man spoke to him, looking at him with a sharp glare.
"My name is none of your business nor where I'm heading at; However I am also wondering why you're taking this empty road, are you lost or are you searching for a specific person?" I have to be ready to either kill or run if I have to, unless this guy is simply lost and looking for directions or something...
Rudmed was surprised to see this man draw his weapon, and held his hands up defensively, it was foolish to try and cross blades with a stranger without proper observation. Nor did he really want to fight this man, "Whoa there stranger, I have no quarrel with you unless you intend to do harm to me. As to why I wander these roads? They are quite, it allows me to think, but also sometimes bandits make camp around such roads. I like to clear roads of such folk." He would say glancing around at the surrounding areas. Something was evident given this man's reaction he was more concerned about Rudmed, if he were a bandit or someone who had intentions to harm him. The man had failed to hide his concern from Ruded's keen eyes. Granted, it is difficult to hide emotion for someone who has dedicated years to seeing if a person is lying or speaking the truth.
"Though it is clear to me that you are no bandit, the blade you hold is too fine for a bandit to have, granted such items could be stolen off a corpse, but the caution you just showed me makes it clear that it would be very difficult to sneak up on you. However, something has made you cautious of stranger, you lack trust of those around you. Tell me why do you live in fear? Who do you fear? Are you being hunted by some malevolent force? " The inquisitor would inquire, but something else stood out. This man was obviously trained, perhaps he was a hunter of some sort? That would explain his keen senses, or perhaps he received some sort of training. Perhaps he is an assassin of some sort, and he is not running from someone but a crime or sin that he committed. If the latter then he crossed paths with the wrong man, he would not leave here alive. Thus he decided to warn the man ahead of time,"Before you answer heed this advice, lying to me would be most unwise. Lies are sins, and I do not tolerate sin."

"Being constantly hunted by the assassins of Noxus surely made me more careful of my surroundings, and I thought you were one of them."
Aaron placed back his dagger in its sheath and looked back at the man.
"Treason, that's why I'm being hunted... I had to kill my own comrades back then to save a family from their murderous desires; and at the end I was accused of treason... Kind of ironic when you were yourself in the Noxian military and were expected to commit such crimes... But my heart is not dark enough to let my hands get stained with the blood of the innocents..."
The inquisitor before the ex-assassin would nod, "Fear not I am no assassin, and I am not after your life. However, words, even your own, can only get on so far, as some are prone to hearsay and lies. I do not believe you are lying to me, but in my business it pays to be sure." He would say placing a hand on his the saber that rested in its sheath,"Fear not, even though I will draw my sword I still mean you no harm. Your story....perhaps it can change my point of view about Noxus. Perhaps you can show me...what other Noxians have failed to show in their actions." He would say drawing his saber. The enchanted blade only needed a little blood to ascertain the truth of the tale that this man was telling him. Perhaps he could find a use for such a man if his story was true, his order was always looking for recruits.
"If you would hold out your hand, all I need is a small sample of blood to confirm your innocence. Then perhaps we can start this meeting over again once we have established a fraction of trust. Who knows we may even be able to help one another." He would say to Aaron, though his blade was drawn he would not approach until the ex-Noxian assassin gave him consent to proceed. After all if the man was speaking the truth than the easier approach would save time and prevent a full on fight from breaking out between the two. Granted, there were still many tests he would like this man to perform, before moving to add him into The Final Truth. If he truly cared about the innocent then he may be hesitant to join such an order, but after he learned how the order worked then perhaps he would be more inclined.

Woah, that is one hell of a sword there... Wait what? He wants a sample of my blood to know the truth? What sort of gibberish non-sense is that? I mean I've heard of people who predict your future and such but this...? I wasn't really expecting that. Still despite those big words and speech I am not sure if I can trust this man; few are those who come from this way and even though he may be hunting for... 'sinners' I might as well be considered as one in the eyes of Noxus and its people. No, I must make sure I can trust this man before I let him do anything to me.
"Why would I want to trust a man I've met on this empty road? What would prove to me that you aren't trying to fool me just so that I could lower my guards and let you cut off my head like a brainless bird? If you really aren't one of them and wish to know the truth, why wouldn't you hand me that sword so that I could do it myself?"
Rudmed would listen to the man's argument, he did have a point. Rudmed was not the being the rational person he was supposed to be. Oh well...if he wanted to see if this man had use to him and his order he would have no choice, but to follow the man's demand. Well he had no choice, he would grip the saber by the blade and offer the hilt to the man. He knew if the man really wanted him dead then they would be in a fight right now, and he would have never put away that blade in the first place. He approached the man slowly and offered him the handle of the saber.
"Some would call me a fool for doing this, but if what you say is true....then you actually don't want to hurt anyone. Simply prick yourself enough to draw blood, and the blade will do the rest. You might think I'm crazy for what I said, but after today...well...you will learn that I speak the truth." Once Aaron took the blade then he would let go of the handle and step back. He had never let someone else handle his blade before, perhaps now was the time to see if this could become a possible test. Could he judge a man's worth by their interaction with his blade, or would it be a false test like a few of his previous ideas. He would step back curious to see the man's reaction to what the sword revealed to him. Perhaps it would offer retrospection that the man had never considered or perhaps it would reveal his greatest fears or sin. If the latter, he would not be inclined to hand it back to Rudmed, and then....well....Rudmed's duty would call, and the final bell would toll for this man.

Draw a bit of blood to know the truth... Well he may be crazy but at least I know he's not after me; he just trusted me and gave me his own weapon... I guess I could return the favor and just finish this quickly. Ugh, here... goes... nothin- ffffff -- "This thing hurts! Is there like some sort of poison or what?!" Fuck, let me quickly wrap my arm with a piece of my cloth just in case!
Aaron quickly ripped off his sleeve with the use of his own dagger and cut off the blood circulation from his arm just to make sure the non-existent venom doesn't spread into his body.
This burning sensation is just killing me! And the sword didn't do anything at all!

Rudmed watched as the man before took the saber and pricked himself with it. His reaction to the pain was rather surprising seeing how precise the blade was, and his reaction was somewhat amusing. The man quickly attempted to cut off his blood circulation to prevent the non-existent toxin from getting any further. At this the inquisitor would chuckle for a moment, something that he had not done for a long time. Perhaps this was a sign of how his life's duty has changed him from his youth...granted his youth was not very joyful after that day. He would look at the man before him, and simply make a single statement. Nothing else would need to be said afterwords.
"Wait for it....you'll see what it does."
The man would be allowed a few moments to question what Rudmed meant before his mind eye's became filled with images. Images of the incident that he spoke of, and he was looking through his own eyes as he would go through the incident. The words his comrades said, the looks on their faces, and what they said were crystal clear though the images before him would blur at the least important bits, but become stunningly clear when it came to the critical points. An example would be when he took action to protect the innocents. Once this very real flashback was over, he would see Rudmed clearly once again...such an experience was surely very enlightening to someone who had not experienced the power of such magic before.

What is he talking about... wait; where am I?! T-this... Jorald, Hargon... and Galwin, is this some sort of vision of my past? I can still hear their words, it's like I'm living this again...
"Hey Galwin, don't you think our job is a bit boring right now? I mean yeah we get to kill and slice stuff but nothing seems to be going on now."
"This isn't what we are paid for Hargon, we're fighting for the good of our nation against them, it's not about killing random stuff."
"Aaron, my man, this is exactly what we are paid for, and especially you. We are soldiers, you're a scout assassin, it's our job to just eliminate all potential threats, or other things."
"We should just go and grab some food from a random house, like that one over there! I'm getting a bit hungry. What do you think Galwin?"
"Awesome idea man, let's get rolling with that!"
The group walked off towards the small house that was only a few miles away. As they got there, Hargon suddenly busted in and shouted some orders in the name of Noxus and ordered the people to kneel down while they started to steal every food they found. Aaron remained still at the door, watching the whole scene with his very own eyes before Hargon began to talk to the group.
"That's everything guys; Hmm, but I guess we can have a little bit more fun in this place.... Hehehe"
"Like what Hargon?"
"My sword is thirsty for blood, and we didn't hear a single scream nor had any action for a whole week, we could probably get something out of this..."
A few sentences were exchanged here and there and the three guys finally decided on drawing out blood from these innocent Ionians. Their blades were released from their sheath and Aaron words couldn't come out of his lips as he started to race through his thoughts. What should he do? They seemed so determined to kill these people that not even his words could make them change their mind... As Hargon stood forth and raised his blade with a demonic grin, ready to chop down the family's father head off, Aaron's dagger pierce through Hargon's torso and ripped his heart with the cold edge of Ebonite. The two others turned around to strike Aaron when they realised what was going on but Galwin got his artery sliced off in a mere second as Aaron struck his neck. Jarold managed to strike Aaron's elbow but his fate was not different from his other comrades as his forehead received the end of Aaron's dagger that struck his brain. All three men were lying dead on the ground, and Aaron was glaring down on their bodies before he unconsciously wiped the blood off his dagger with his pants as a reflex.
Rudmed would pick up his drop blade, getting the same vision that Aaron received. His mind was used to such an invasion of the mind. The inquisitor would remove Aaron's blood from the saber, and sheath the blade. He would have liked to investigate more into this man before making his decision, but this would have to be a quick and hasty judgement. The man was a Noxian in the Ionian Invasion, part of the side who had begun the conflict. That alone spoke poorly of the man before him, to even take part in such a slaughter was a sin in itself. However, the man before him did not follow the orders of his superior, nor did he scum to the pressure of his peers. Rather, he stood up for what he believed to be right...even if he had to kill his comrades for it. He acted in the defense of those who were innocent. That was no sin.
Perhaps this man could be of use, but it was not his place to induct the man into the order, Only those who passed the trials could be inducted and even then they would be tested in body, mind and will. The punisher of sins stood before the man waiting for him to come out of his trance induced by the vision. Waiting for some reaction or question that Aaron before speaking. The man may need a moment to recover or understand what he was witnessing.
