"We are merely doing what We do best, and that is to spread Our words to those who truly understand Our wisdom. Cho'Gath is a good persuader, though he often uses force as his tool. We, on the other hand, use mere truth. We are able to supply you with more than what you need so that your visions are reality. If it is time to make a decision is what you need, then you may be granted so. The movement to the Void is a large, yet grand adventure." He said, his arms crossed high and in front of him. "Though We're sure you'll make the correct decision."

Viktor inclined his head slightly as he stared almost bemusedly at the Prophet, though the corrupted man's words held merit. The Machine Herald gave an uncharacteristic sigh, one that belied how disgruntled he was.
"Time....is an important factor. Unfortunately for you, I have already made a contract with the Mad Chemist, one that requires me to build certain.....equipment for him, in return for finances and materials with which to accelerate my work. I've no doubt that the Void can imbue me with power few can comprehend, but ultimately my end is the Glorious Evolution. To see to it that all of Valoran - no, all of Runeterra - knows of the superiority of steel and techmaturgical augmentation!"

Malzahar looked at him for moment. "So... You've already aligned to Valoran then?" He asked. Worry marked his tone, as if he was genuinely worried for the great man.
Viktor shook his head at the Prophet's words, as he seemed to misunderstand.
"Do not misconstrue my words. I have already entered a legal contract with someone else, true, but my actual alignment is with whatever or whomever can provide the most benefit to my goal of realizing the Glorious Evolution. My allegiance is to techmaturgy, to my designs and everything I work tirelessly to create."
Viktor turned to the doorway and went to it, locking the door for security purposes before going back over to his visitor. His tone as he spoke once again was quieter than before, but still as solemn as was expected.
"I fully intend to continue the work that has been asked of me by my contractor, and should he or any of those he is associated with prove to be an obstacle in my goals I will willingly submit myself to the Void's power. As it currently stands, I trust no one whom I have met thus far save for one man who is currently attempting to pave his own way towards the future. Actions speak louder than words, so it should go without saying that the events to come will mark a significant annal in history. Whether Valoran prevails, or the Void reigns supreme, the only thing I am interested in is promoting my augmentation procedures to whomever should remain."

January 25, 23 CLE
A rather tall man, hiding his identity with his helmet lowered below his eyeline, appraoched the Machine Herald's Laboratory. He was carrying an odd device, which from a distance looked like some sort of drill-like tube. Upon closer inspection, one would notice that he was not carrying one tube, but two. Seeing the entrance, he decided to wait, to see if Viktor was around; it was evident from what could be seen on his face that he wished to speak to the Herald about something important... perhaps it was about an augmentation he wished to recieve...
Viktor was actually somewhere near the middle of the facility, which was clearly a warehouse at some point. Regardless, the Herald was working on something at a particular station close to the heart of the building, the bright glow of his mechanical arm's beam lighting up his surroundings for however briefly it lasted. Repeatedly the light emanated, filling the laboratory, and only leaving it dim for a few seconds before firing back into life. The Machine Herald wasn't expecting visitors, but they would easily discover that the entrance was left unlocked, as he seemed not to care much for security....

The man waited for some time until he noticed some of the lights flickering. Then, the place seemed to light up. Presuming this meant he could enter, he slowly approached the door. He knocked, but got no response. Deciding to push it, he was slightly surprised to see that it was not locked; apparently the Herald was not exactly one who was concerned with security.
Resolving himself to continue, he pushed open the door enough so he could enter. closing the door behind him, he did not see Viktor anywhere, and so decided to see if he could call him.
As he continued on with his work, Viktor was seemingly unaware of the presence of another person, as the visitor entered and made his way through the laboratory. The Herald, true to his nature, poured all of his attention and focus upon the device he was constructing. The pieces had all been separately molded and refined, and all he needed to do was wield them together to complete the device's form.
However, Viktor was unable to remain ignorant for long, as during a time in which the light died down he heard someone call out to him. The techmaturgist looked warily at the unfinished device before him, but ultimately decided to grace his guest with an appearance.
"One moment, I'm coming!"
Viktor's voice, raised, echoed through the mostly run down building to reach the man's ears. After a minute or two, the Machine Herald's form emerged from behind a rather hastily installed wall to approach his newest visitor with a surprising finesse and grace.
"Welcome to my laboratory, now what is it that I can help you with?"

The man waited, until he saw the Herald come around a wall. He momentarily seemed dis-appointed, expecting him to somehow appear as if by magic, but then snorted at that comparison; magic wasn't the main thing around here, this was the machine herald, after all. When he introduced himself, the man bowed in response.
"Greetings, Herald. I am here to simply request an augmentation, which involves some of my own devices," the man replied. He motioned the odd devices he now held in both hands as to direct the heralds attention to them.
Viktor shook his head at the Prophet's words, as he seemed to misunderstand.

Malzahar nodded slowly at his words. He then spoke when the Herald had finished speaking. "Very well, though when this contact is done, we would wish to show you what we're capable of with the combination of our powers, that is if would allow us to show you that is." He said.

Viktor's head inclined toward his right shoulder slightly as he stared, curious, at what this visitor of his had brought with him. The Machine Herald analyzed the devices' outward appearance, but otherwise made no remark regarding them. Instead, he inquired about the nature of the augmentations that this man desired.
"I can offer a number of different, if expensive, augmentations that might be to your liking. Though, of course, I can also craft any equipment meeting any given specifications of your making, to satisfy your parameters for them. The only question, now, is what exactly are you seeking in terms of enhancement?"
Viktor shook his head at the Prophet's words, as he seemed to misunderstand.

Viktor nodded in understanding to the Prophet before him, and at that moment he couldn't help but ponder why so many viewed Malzahar as some blasphemous lunatic. The man had a certain charisma, his voice was the sort that could convince a man to abandon his national pride to serve a higher cause. Viktor could not deny this trait its due respect.
"Very well. We will speak more at length regarding my potential alignment to the Void only in the event that I am dissatisfied with my current prospects. I presume most, if not all, of them to be humans similar to the likes that have caused me nothing but trauma and misfortune."

Malzahar nods. He was patient enough to wait for this little contact to end. Not like it mattered, as well as everything else, when the Void attacks. He looked at the Herald, his eyebrows giving an almost sympathetic look. "Very well. We shall speak again later in the near future. Let us hope that this contractor gives you SOME respect." He said.
His hands crackled with the power of the Void, as a portal opens to his homeland. A heatwave from the desert wafts its way in, as he stops right before it. He sends Kha'Zix a mental message. "It's best to leave him be. Come, we have much to do anyways." He said as he walked through, portal closing behind him.

Upon hearing the Herald explain his services, the man simply handed over several papers, upon which are what appear to be blueprints for some kind of design.
"Just this, Herald," The man replied.
In one of the blueprints, an image that almost resembled that of a tiny pack could be seen, out of which a pair of metal, aesthetic limbs stuck out from. The pack was to be attached to the upper back of the man. Each limb was attached to the pack on one side, and on the other was one of the odd devices that the man was carrying.
In the other blueprint, this one of the devices themselves; it would appear at a first glance they appeared to be hands, but upon closer inspection the devices turned out to be multi-purpose medical tools: anti-tumor lasers, lights, tweezers, scalpels… most, if not all of the usual hand-held tools found in a surgeon’s arsenal were placed onto this device, each one placed to look as if they were a finger, although one of the tools was curiously labeled as classified, as if the device's origin was not to be known...
Further review showed that each device could retract into the shape of a finger, and so when none of the tools were deployed, the device looked essentially like a hand. There was also a small written part at the bottom of the blueprint, which specified to tune the pack such so that the arms and hand devices were to be neurally connected to the patient, so as to allow them to be used as if they were another pair of arms and hands. All in all, the overall augmentation almost seemed like Viktor’s own 3rd hand and arm, except instead of having one hand and arm added, two of each would be attached; that, and the ‘hand’s would be used not to take lives, but to save them.
The man decided to wait for the Herald's response upon giving him the blueprints.
Viktor looked over the blueprints offered to him by the man, studying them with utmost attention to detail and analyzing every feature that was shown and described. It appeared to be a device meant to be neurally attached to the back of the individual, containing various tools that a medic would find of the utmost significance to have access to. A pair of hands were to be released from the device, the fingers of each containing a different surgical instrument or first aid equipment.
All in all, it was clear that the man before him wanted this augment for himself, so that made it clear that he was a medic. Though this made no difference to Viktor, as the only thing he was interested in was the design. It externally resembled his own robotic arm, somewhat, but was truthfully more complicated than that. While his arm was engineered to be purely mechanical, with a multitude of simple programs dictating its utility, this equipment was intended to be connected to the man directly, such that he could manipulate the additional limbs with his own mental power. Viktor's own augmentations were similarly connected to his mind, but not to the same degree.
"This appears to be a good challenge for my skills, however. There is a matter of payment..."

The man waited while Viktor looked at the blueprints. When he spoke of payment, he shook his head, drawing from his back a checkbook.
"Payment is of no matter on my side. How much, and to who should the check be addressed to?"
((Also, just a quick clear-up: the device that would connect Jon's back to the extra limbs does not have a compartment for additional tools: all the tools are in the fingers of the hands attached to the limbs.))
