Teemo's ears twitch, picking up the sound of Derrick's death. His fury is driven over the top. His mission was jeopardized. The Void scum would pay. With Kha'Zix distracted, the scout leaped onto his back, drawing his combat knife and his deadliest weapon: the dreaded poison mushroom. He held onto the crack above the beast's wings, swinging down with the tiny blade. If he hit, surely the voidreaver would screech in pain, providing a means for Teemo to jam the explosive fungus into Kha's mouth. The little yordle was in a fit of rage, his eyes wide, and the death of all things Void would be excruciating in his hands.

Jon had finally deactivated his Ubercharge after Pantheon had finished cleaning up the rest of the knights when he heard Derrick's scream. Turning, to his horror he watched Derrick become devoured by the void beast. It was only for a moment, however, for his mindset had once again reset; there was only one enemy now, and it needed to face the consequences.
Sprinting over to the caravan, he reappeared moments later carrying his PERL. Arming both tubes, he began to lock-on with the void-beasts head; his Options did the same thing, and Cho' Gath would see five laser pointers all lined up at his head at this point.
"Oh, you're gonna be in a world pain now..." he muttered. However, there appeared to already be champions all over the void beast, and so Jon couldn't fire until they got off, as he didn't want to commit friendly fire. That, and the fact that the PERL's targeting system was relatively new: he needed a good bit of time before he could lock on.

(Ermahgerd I wake up to miss a whole battle! D:)
Soraka had been too busy trying to heal Vera that she didn't even notice the knights advancing onto the party. She tunnel visioned Vera and Vera alone. Working tirelessly at mending her new wounds. Sweat dripped off of the Starchild's face as she worked her magic on the summoner. She cradled Vera's body with one arm and healed her with the other, the woulds glowing brilliantly. The glowing stopping abruptly, she had healed as much as she could.
The cruelty of one will not blind me of the suffering of many.

(They duplicate my attack, so if I fire 2 rockets, you're facing 10. Don't worry though, I do intend for it to hopefully end the battle, but I'm not gonna fire until the battle's close to ending (edited the post to clarify that part), so as to make the fight not as fun for you. :D)

Fortune smirked as she kept shooting.. until the sound of death struck her ears, she turned her eyes towards Cho'Gath and grit her teeth as she concentrated fire on the void beast

Anivia awakened slowly, the sound of battle obscured by the ringing of her ears. Despite Teemo's quick thinking, several of the void spikes had burst around her with concussive forces of dark void power, distorting her connection with the world. Sand poured off her body as he made her way to her feet. Slowly her vision came back into focus: a Yak stared back at her with eyes full wide in terror. Anivia turned towards the battlefield slowly, her recollection of the company's plight flooding back just in time to see the Terror of the Void feast upon their group's leader.
So she had failed then. Not only had she treated the man with disdain for an event outside of his control, but she had left him unprotected to die in the most gruesome way imaginable. True clouds began to billow in the desert sky, darkening even the surreal purple storm of Icathia. The void stood against all forms of life on the planet, even wantonly throwing away their own against insurmountable odds. Anivia had long entertained notions that the voidlings could be reasoned with in some form, pushed to feel any empathy for the worlds they consumed. Now she knew it was useless. True snow began to fall gently from the sky, in stark contrast to the chaos of the battlefield. No matter how this day might end, the void had awakened an enemy within the world itself.

Ahri followed Xin Zhao's footprints that were left behind him in the sands, keeping a certain distance away from the warrior who came and rescued her from her moment of panic. The rough sand of the desert runes slashed across her soft exposed skin and slowly stacked underneath her eyes as they kept heading towards the others until all of a sudden, something made her ears twitch.
A disgusting, hateful and gruesome sound echoed between the dunes of the desert, bouncing from one side to another and reaching for Ahri's sensitive and sharp ears, provoking an unpleasant feeling within her mind and senses; she heard what others couldn't hear well enough. The bloody melody of flesh and bones getting crushed inside the grinder that happens to be the Terror's jaws made her heart ache and squirm and her eyes' pupils shrink. She wanted to throw up with every bite she heard as she watched the horrifying death of the summoner while it occurred before her eyes, igniting her soul as the blood dripped down over the soaked crimson sand.
And the screams, the screams didn't help her feel better at all, in fact, they added up to the pile of fear, amplifying the horror as they rang within her soul and mind like the endless echo of death that becomes clearer as the human grow older, which was far beyond her darkest nightmares.
Ahri fell on her knees, tears rolling down her cheeks, washing away the sand as they carried every grain off her cheeks along the way. She was devastated, hopeless and numb, and seemed to have given up all hopes of victory and survival.
Xin Zhao smirked. "I wouldn't mind going back in..." He planted the back of his spear firmly in the ground as the bullets flew past and responded to Jarvan, glancing over at Ahri. "Sure am." As he glanced around at the chaos suddenly he heard it... The screaming. Most men would have faltered but to Xin it inspired him to push harder. He glanced down at Ahri, noting her fear. He holds a hand out to Ahri and smiles warmly. "Don't give up hope, we will not falter no matter the circumstance." If she takes it and stands he would stand upright and glare in the direction of the voidlings. "We will hold the enemy for however long we need to. You must control your fear if you want to survive this day. We will not fall here..."
"The Senechal is right.." Sivir said, as she walked to stand beside him, her body covered in blood. Some of it hers.. most of it the voidlings. Sivir stabbed her blade into the earth and looked towards the voidlings, her brows furrowing.. deep in thought.
And so, there was their first casualty of the battle. Pantheon's rush of energy had already passed, but he was still always ready for battle. He flicked the blood off of his shortsword, and then sheathed it. He drew his spear, and walked up behind the group of champions attacking the Terror of the Void. He cleared his throat to gather their attention, and then spoke.

The sound of Cho'Gath's recent success was of little help to Kha'Zix who was now in the midst of a bad situation. With his ambush wasted and now multiple champions bearing down he needed to escape, and fast. First there was the dart, hitting the more vulnerable area of carapace, he felt the burning poison enter his blood. Then followed the dagger spinning round to face however was attacking him he saw Teemo's explosive. *Boom* Coughing and hacking the Voidreaver seemed to disappear in a purple flash.

Throughout all this time, Jon discovered that he had some serious problems with his PERL; first, he had forgotten to load it, and so had to run back to get the rocket ammunition for the weapon. Then, he forgot to turn on the switch, so that the weapon could actually be aimed. Finally, in spite of all of the other, more essential issue being resolved, there was still the predicament of his target being completely swarmed by Champions; he wasn't going to commit friendly fire, so the best he could do was wait.
"Come on, everyone, I just need one clear shot..." he muttered rather irritably to himself.

At the gruesome fate that befell her comrade, Vera let out a wail of rage, of sorrow, of disbelief, "DERRICK! NO!" Her glassy eyes reflected his maiming, the splattering of his blood, the utter look of terror on his face: the only reaction he'd had time to make. Other than a scream. Her fellow summoner's final noises rang in her ears, a premonition of things to come. The End became real in that moment. She would never forget that noise.
The purple aura that shone around her and Miss Fortune contracted back into her body as she went limp in the sand, staring up at the unthinkable monster that was the Terror of the Void.

"DAMN IT VERA" came Sarah's voice as she heard the summoner collapse behind her "Get a hold of yourself!" Fortune's eyes did not leave Cho'gath as she kept shooting "We need you! Now more than ever!"
