In the Placidium, top floor of main building
July 15th 23CLE
So here it was, his own little piece of home in a foreign land. He had spent the past few days getting his place ready and running. It was actually a bit fun, and gave him a reason to climb around the Placidium a-bit. Which was required to get some energy gathering crystals installed. He made damn sure that they would blend in perfectly with the rest of the roofing though. He knew and understood completely about what any Ionians might be worrying about. He even took the time to just sit and watch. The Placidium really was breathtaking. It also gave him time to think... How long had he been training now? Well he started February so... His head moved side to side in thought counting it out... Five months, and soon it'll be a year. He already felt stronger and faster, hell he could consider this his best idea. John's eyes stopped as he noticed two Ionians staring up at him. He gave a big grin and waved at them slightly. They stared at him a few seconds with a confused look on there faces before deciding to just keep moving, unsure what to think of what they just saw.
He chuckled lightly and grabbed the edges, leaning over and yelling into the window below.
"Hey! You see the wire right?!"
A few seconds of waiting before a voice answered back.
"Yeah!"
"Can you grab it and pull it through the hole for me?!"
Some noises were heard below, assuredly said wire being grabbed.
"I got it!"
He grinned even wider, so far so good. Now to make sure they were working.
"Okay! Grab the tool next to the hole on the floor and plug the wires in and hit the little button that says start, tell me what it says!"
He waited for a few seconds, drumming his fingers, till she spoke again.
"It's working!"
He silently made a fist in victory and replied.
"That's great! I'm coming in then!"
He slowly slide himself down and held onto the edge, climbing back down towards the window and dropped down onto the floor. His hands rubbed together as he walked over to Erica.
"Should be it, just need to plug everything in and bam, we got power."
Erica was beaming as he walked past and ruffled her hair.
"And thanks for the help. Best assistant here."
Erica giggled lightly while John walked over to the wiring and started to get everything powered up. Once he was done he walked over to the light switch he put in and flipped it. The lanterns attached to the roof turned on, they were Ionian lanterns that he had converted. He let out a short laugh and flicked the switch off. Everything appeared to be working fine. He stretched his arms out and plopped down on a nearby chair, relaxing for the first time in his new workshop. Just have to think of what to do.
To give a quick description of said room, it was actually decently sized, I'm terrible at the whole actual dimensions thing so... It is bigger than his old apartment room(WAIT HOW DOES THIS HELP), which was a definite upside. At the back right corner was an equipment cabinet, where he stored his gear/weapons. The back left had his bed and on the front left corner was Erica's bed. The main workshop part lies around the left side, against a wall with desks, chairs, another cabinet for his tools. A lone window shines light into the room at the back middle of the room and finally on the ceiling a few Ionian styled lanterns adorn it, powered by the crystals on the roof. The electrical equipment is all powered by the same crystals. On one of the tables sat a little radio.
Other then the very Piltoverian(Piltovian?) workshop items, the room was actually mostly Ionian in look.
