The party that chose this room will find the door easy to open, just a simple tug and the wood creaks right open. The clicking immediately stops and the group finds themselves in total silence. The room is quite large, its ceiling built high and it was a wonder that it did not protrude above the sand – this only shows how deep underground they are. It appears that the room is square shaped with defined walls and as the group walks in, a sudden stench hits them.
The smell of dead and decaying things and the smell of blood and gore permeates the area but the source of the clicking and clacking is nowhere to be seen. The room itself is lit with the same torches on the outside, just enough to see the bones scattered around the group’s feet and the corpses that hung on the walls with giant spikes impaled through their face or chests. Some of them couldn’t even be identified as ‘human’ anymore.
As the group looks past all of this, a beast emerges from the shadows lurking in the back. At first glance, the monster looks almost terrifyingly comical. The first thing one may notice is its height, towering over many things at 16 feet. However, one could not fail to notice the clicking pincers on the end of its arms. They dragged on the ground, clicking away as it stepped forward into the light. Its legs are as thick as tree trunks and ending in sharp claws – two in the front, one in the back. Its torso is covered by bone-like armor with strange, claw-tipped protrusions. The oddest feature about this beast was its face. What little neck that could be seen was covered by a steel band, like a collar. Its eyes were large and wide, and pure black like a marble. Its mouth resembled that of a bird’s, a dull yellow and the tip curving wickedly. Its entire body seems to be thickly armored.
Then, it opened its mouth and the clacks began, louder and louder and louder. The door behind them seem to shudder and then the Clacker roars. Rubble begins to fall from the ceiling, an avalanche of rocks and stone piling up in front of the door. Then the beast fixates its eyes on the party, click clack, and it warbles. And in the darkness, something responds.
The Clacker is, at first glance, a dull beast but be warned: it is vicious and it likes the taste of any and all flesh. Its body is heavily armored and it possesses an arsenal of ‘skills’. Its body is covered in a slimy film though its purpose is yet unknown. Proceed with caution.

The Doctor stared up at this... heavily armored, semi-avian thing in their way, far larger than any of them, larger that himself, whereas he was normally the one towering over others. It was a nice change of pace actually, to be looking up at something far bigger than than yourself for once. The Doctor was looking at it, guessing its rough anatomy, thinking of ways to get through that tough hide... and how best to not get hit by his scythe-like arms. The Doctor didn't charge forward like he normally did, for this thing looked far more formidable as a single creature than something of Mundo's size. He was reckless when he chose to be, but he wasn't as stupid as his personality drove people to think. He knew the risks and dangers of what he did very well, but it was often done because he could get away with it scott-free. This however... this took some planning, and a battle strategy. He wasn't any grand master tactician like the Grand General was, but his time with the League had definitely left him with a better, well-rounded idea of what to do among allies fighting a single target.
To put it more simply, this was like fighting the Baron, but mobile, and more armed and armored.
The hulking purple man turned to look at the party, quickly summing up who could do what during a fight in his mind. Thoven was a melee fighter along with the Doctor himself and Adeptis, while Laufelia seemed to be somewhere between melee and a mid-ranged fighter of sorts. Vladimir, Lulu, and the Bilgewater Summoner were all farther ranged in terms of fighting skills, the Summoner and his CEO-in-training being flexible between damaging and supporting skill while Vladimir was solely a damage dealer. A rough strategy began to form in the Doctor's head about what they could do to tackle this.
"Mundo think best way to fight this is with melee people up close. Mundo keep big bird's attention in front, other fighter move to sides. Since Mundo take lots of damage with focus on Mundo, Mundo think Lulu and Mr. Cervantes use all support powers on Mundo. Vladimir use all skill in taking thing down from distance. Mundo not think we can... graah what is term... "kite" big bird with people we have. Mundo think we need all-out fight."
That said, the Doctor started to take out a few of his specially made potions, specifically for his physiology. He didn't need them right away, but he knew he would since he would be eating so much damage to his face, so it would be good to have a surplus of healing effects going off inside of him for when that damage did come. He would ingest two of them directly before the battle started. Ah, but he turned to them one last time.
"Mundo ask, anyone have better idea?"

Thoven, having caught up to the group, was not having as good of a day has he had hoped.
Firstly, he actually had to work. He was hoping that he would just be able to watch others fight (and maybe die) for his pay. Not a very likely thing, but one could hope.
Secondly, the ogres he looted had not had anything worth picking up, most notably the pound and a half of lint that resided in one pocket.
Thirdly, he was already threatened for no reason. If he had given them a reason, he wouldn't be as upset, but this time was uncalled for. Even better, the bitch was RIGHT HERE. Maybe they'd get lucky and she'd take one for the team.
Fourthly, this thing that stood before them was armored decently, as opposed to the ogres' undersized armor.
"Only one. Tear off its armor. I have something in my bag of tricks for this thing, but I need to get it in the beast's blood." Thoven said darkly, removing a vial of green fluid from his belt.
Thoven stepped back behind the group to remove the cork and pour the vile fluid onto his blade. The poison had an odor akin to shit, but the scent was barely notable to Thoven, so there was little reason for Thoven to think it would attract the attention of the 'Clacker'.

Adeptis thought about Mundo's plan. Seemed basic, but solid. "Sound like a plan, Mundo. It's got a really strong voice, though. There's no telling what will happen to us if it decides to weaponise it, so try not to get yelled at."
Adeptis went over the possible actions. He could throw a spark bolt at it, try to topple it-probably with Mundo's help-, Strike it, or if he felt suicidal, jump it and try to choke it.
Since Thoven said something about removing it's armor, the decision was made. He'd test the resilience of it's bone armor against his chain balls.
Adeptis moved to the right of Mundo and started to casually spin his Right chain in slightly widening counterclockwise circles. As soon as the best stepped within a meter of them, it would get a blow destined to it's nether regions, if it had anything vulnerable there. He hoped the thing would atleast be stopped in it's advance if it came to that.

The Sorceress and her two companions survays the area where the creature is, paying more attention to the room itself then the beast that inhabited it. After a couple seconds, Lulu happily turns around and listens to Dr. Mundo's plan of attack on the creature. Lulu waited until the doctor's speech concluded before raising her own voice
Weeeeeell....I TOO have a plan! A plan that has NO need for anyone to get in HARMS way! we simply HAVE to make the CREATURE bigger.
Lulu opens her arms wide and shakes her hand to emphise her point. She gives the party only a few seconds before continuing.
you seeee. I can use MY magic to make that...THINGY big enough to get STUCK in that room! The walls and ROOF will hold the beastly beast in PLACE while we take POTSHOTS at it....haha! "Potshots" is a funny word....
Lulu giggles to herself for a moment before clearing her throat
Of COURSE there could be some PROBLEMS with this BUT im just pointing out an option!!!
The sorceress sniffs, breathing in deeply while closing her eyes. Lulu suddenly blinks and slowly turns her attention towards Vladimir
Although....we can ALWAYS feed it something in hopes that it will LEAVE us alone...
Lulu waddles closer to Vladimir and looks up to his face, a hungry expression etched on her features
I smell SOMETHING sweet coming from you...

Vladimir pauses his analysis of this rather interesting looking foe at the behest of the Fae Sorceress. Her words were a bit peculiar, causing him to smirk at the seemingly innocent but surely fascinating Lulu. Still holding his torch in his right hand, he leans closer, tilting his head and asks: "And what, my dear, would that be?"
His eyes gleam in the dim, flickering fire light as a rim of intrigue besets his growing blood-lust. Although he desires to see the beast fall, he isn't completely opposed to a non-violent action.

Given the company of his companions, Jacob was slightly distressed. Not only was he with the...more exotic people of his group, but his student was with the other group. He knew Naiyu was a strong person, but he still feared that the girl might lose her nerve without him being near. At least she wasn't in his motley crew. Only Adeptis and Laufeia looked stable to him. Thoven and Vladimir had bloodlust in their eyes and Lulu and the Doctor were somewhat insane.
The Clacker though, drew him back to his surroundings. Biology wasn't his strong suit, but this creature was something fascinating. He watched the beast for any strange behaviour or mannerisms while the group discussed. He noticed the slimy film over the armoured hide.
"I don't think that plan would be wise Lulu. Making the creature that big could destabilize the ruins, which could bring this room, or the whole tomb down. As for the direct approach, I would advise great caution. We have no idea what this creature can do. If the bodies in the room are any indicator, it will kill. It's hide appears think, so physical attacks might not be viable. It also appears to be covered in something I can't identify."
He gave another look at the beast as it made it's clacking noise. "For all we know, this thing could be very intelligent, only appearing mindless to catch us off guard. If we attack, we should know what we are fighting first."
This creature certainly did unnerve him. Perhaps it was best that Naiyu didn't come this way.

A click. A snap. Thrice from the left claw, twice from the right. A staccato of bone crunching cracks drowned out only by the falling debris. A few moments pass- scarcely enough for conversation and rudimentary planning as the creature continued its solo concerto. Vivace accelerando in one forty, should any amongst the party fashion themselves one with a keen ear.
Regardless of how well the planning was proceeding amongst the party, the beast had already arrived upon its primary course of action. It gnashed its beak, adding it to the symphony of brash sounds as it spun a single claw up – scratching at the top of the ceiling in a singular arcing slash as the other scythe like appendage was spun in the opposite. Sparks flew as bone ground against enchanted stone.
Its chitinous plating undulated in sequence at the climax of its concerto; claws digging into the ridges between the heavy stone blocks that constituted the room’s so called floor. Its beak clicked. Once. Twice. And it charged forth- eyes never once blinking nor deviating from its intended target. A blank stare from two ever watchful obsidian orbs; a distorted reflection of the party evident within as it forsook the traditional harmonic tuning and opted to dive straight into the first act. One large reaping pincer cut forward as the other lagged behind, the leading claw oriented in such a fashion that it would shield its extremities while maintaining its signature clicking- but the tempo had changed once again. The previous gradual acceleration replaced instead by an adagietto punctuated on every third clack by a click of its jaws.
It dove in after the one still addressing the group. Perhaps it annoyed the creature that he spoke in such a slow tone and with so many words. Maybe it didn’t like being ignored. Perhaps it merely acted upon primal instinct. If it were capable of understanding human speech, it might even have been offended at the man’s words. It mattered little the reasoning as it closed the distance in a flash- sparks lighting the way as a shift in sound- the clacking was greatly muted as the other claw began where the former left off- only to have the aforementioned swipe at the party in a wide arc.
The precise power of the creature was revealed almost immediately if not by the gust of wind the blow had generated, but by the ease in which the monstrosity’s claws had severed the spinning chains prepared in advance. The carefully crafted links wound about the aberration’s limb as one may have planned, but the sheer force combined with the acuity of the bladed edge severed the metal with something almost akin to grace. Shrapnel and pieces of the dismantled weapon were instead flung back towards the party- unfortunately augmenting the greater horror’s strike.
As the limb slowed, it shivered…. The claws separating… then beginning to snap- not even so much as dropping a beat as the right crashed down upon where the Fae once stood. It turned towards the remainder of the party thus far left relatively unharassed, letting the momentum of the strike bouncing from the enchanted stone stop its movement. The clicking of its beak ceased, replaced instead by another clack as its maw opened and a sonic blast erupted from its twisted visage.
tl;dr
-Monstrosity clicks faster and does its little mating dance (It does the little spin in order to establish dominance) -It charges towards the party. -It swipes at the Werewolf. (Wear a shirt, faggot) [AOE, centered upon where Jacob was standing] -Prepared chain is shattered before the might of ducklord and shrapnel rains down upon the party. -It immediately slams its other claw towards Lewlew (Slight window between actions) -It then looks towards whoever it might not have already attempted to murder (anyone not standing adjacent to lewlew or Jacoobarian) and yells at them and shit. Effect of yell currently undisclosed. (I'm pretty sure its calling you a faggot though)

And just like that, Thoven's day had to potential to be about five times more profitable and fifty times more risky. This thing was clearly not as easy to kill as an Ogre.
Thoven dropped the empty vial, rolling away away from the group and to his right. Thoven was an assassin and as much as he prided himself on his skill with his blades, he was much better against someone not actively looking to smash him into ground chuck. His adrenaline was fully engaged and the world slowed to a crawl. The bloodlust was in the back of his mind, just enough to get him in his zone. His mind was working thinking through what could possibly affect this juggernaut.
'What the hell does this have in common with my normal prey?' Thoven's thought mid roll. He was thinking through inhuman targets when the armor plating on the beast set his mental gears into motion. It had to be able to move properly, so maybe the armor behind its knee was weaker, as was the armor under its arms (that was a last resort option seeing the thing destroy the chain of Thoven's 'ally' like it was paper mache).
Thoven thought about yelling for them to keep it busy, but he figured they had that part covered and he began to try to get behind the beast and find his moment.

The battle planning was going well... but everything changed when the Big Bird attacked... oh well, looked like this was going to be a full-front assault on both sides. Just what the Doctor wanted, honestly. Its claws came crashing down around him yet never directly, which is when it cried out with some kind of sound weapon. The Doctor was directly in the line of fire, and took it at full force. The Madman's very flesh seemed to reverberate in shock waves with the blast, but soon his muscles returned to their normal stature. All he knew is that whatever kind of attack it was, it hurt. He would return the favor in kind.
The Doctor charged forward, roaring out some guttural noise in response to the avian brutes'. His internal chemistry went to work quickly, enveloping his body in a roaring flame as well as increasing the raw strength his muscles could produce. Heat rose, so he positioned himself in the most painful place for the armored brute: directly beneath him. Where armor does defend well, it also retains heat most effectively, unless the creature itself has some affinity with flame. The Doctor's rough assumptions of the creature's anatomy suggested to him that its joints were obviously a weak point, but then again... he wondered if there were weak points on the creature which could be more easily exploited, such as the genitals of a man for instance... regardless of if it were true or not, he would be seeing if there were some kind of reaction from the creature as he threw a cleaver directly between its legs.

Adeptis saw the beast charging and tried to hit it, but it caught the chain mid-spin and tangled the chain before...
"SON OF A BITCH!"
He tried to shield his face from the broken pieces of chain. Fortunately, the chains had rounded edges before being broken, so it'd mostly be blunt force. Still, his arm had caught a few sharp ends, which he tried to shake off. Now back to the main problem. The beast that had broken his right weapon was yelling at him. Adeptis didn't care. Perhaps he cared about his chains, perhaps he realised the danger of losing his second one, but in any case, Adeptis would not try to attack it.
Adeptis dropped the piece of chain in his right hand and starts gathering the electric energy in the air, however few there is, and then creates more until he has a large spark. This spark would be angrily flung at the beast's massive chest, launching it off the palm of his hand. After he is done, he quickly retreats backwards, hoping Mundo will catch it's attention. He didn't like the idea of losing his second chain, and being reduced to casting a single spell. If that beast made one move in his direction, he'd try to manuever away from it. Clearly, this wasn't his enemy.

Vladimir grimaces at the sound of the beast's cry, his thin lips curling over his gleaming white teeth before the corners of his mouth are pulled into a sly smile, humored at its attempt to intimidate. The hemomancer launches the torch he held towards the creature, having no room to hold it for this encounter. The clawed index finger of his left hand meets with the supple wrist of his right, pushing down until it breaks the skin, splitting open a vein down two or so inches. Slowly the blood pours forth, trickling off of his arm before rising, swirling into a ball poised above his right hand that mixed and manipulated the blood as it welled up and out. Certainly this fight would prove interesting for the Hemomancer, always desperate for an excuse to kill.
"Mundo, if you would be so kind, would you take care of that...bothersome plating? Focus gashing it's softest spot and I will douse you in its own gore.." He calls out to the good Doctor, slightly intoxicated by the rush of a legitimate battle. Forthwith vines of crimson are separated from the source, expanding upward until they thrashed around Vladimir in a cyclonic display of his violent control.
With an outward thrust of his clawed hand, the Hemomancer commands the liquid to lash at the noisy creature using the bloody razor whips aimed particularly at its black eyes.

Lulu seemingly dissapears when the giant claw comes crashing towards her, leaving her hat fluttering in the air as the impact causes it to glide towards Vladimir. In reality, Lulu shrunk when she noticed the creature and climbed into her hat to avoid the giant claw (Lulu's "death" animation on the fields). When the hat lands by Vladimir's feet, it shakes for a moment before the Sorceress pops back into her normal size, dramatically posing as she points her wand at the Clacker. Pix and Mr. Piggles follow suit, circling around Lulu's head like a pair of odd halos while glowing with strange magic.

Jacob reacted as fast as he could to the creatures attack, leaping back from its swipe. However, the summoner's speed was lacking and the claw grazed his front, tearing a shred in his shirt. He cursed at the wound and continued to scramble backwards, having no more desire to be in the creatures war path.
Luckily, his more durable companions had taken up the fight with the creature on the front lines. He took their offensive as time to gather himself. The claw had just missed his chest, only his shirt was damaged. A frown played on his face. He liked this shirt and new nothing about sewing. He would have to ask Naiyu when the got back to the Institute.
The summoner focused back onto the battle. He drew his pistol and lined up the shot at the creatures chest, hoping to hit the beast. He powered the shot to have little AOE, but high penetration, just like he did against the ogres. After casting the spell, he fired.

The beast concluded its cry, the armour plating gradually rippling along the length of its body as if in rhythm with its breathing. The clicking in the right arm stopping abruptly as its beak clattered and picked up the slack; the scythe rising as it took a lumbering step back, attempting to maneuver itself in such a way that there was /not/ something big and purple between its legs. A loud clang rang out as a meatcleaver connected with the armour plating concealing its rather sensitive and lengthy phallus- the weapon ricocheting off rather harmlessly. The heat was a source of irritation, but mere irritation for now.
The monstrosity raised its clicking claw further and parried the lightning strike- the shimmering bolt bouncing rather haphazardly off its appendage. The limb singed and darkened at the point of impact, but did not seem to hinder it. The guarding appendage was raised even further- the scythe blade being readied for another strike when an earthshattering roar shook the surrounding walls.
The strike connected with where the Doctor might have been standing moments before- but no course corrections would have been made should any attempt to dodge have been executed. The routine clacking ceasing immediately together with its bellow of rage. The monster blindly stomped backwards, reflexively raising its arms in defense against unseen threats as it basked within its endless rage and agony. Black fluid poured from the shattered orb, splattering about as the beast shook its head- as if such an action would somehow nullify its discomfort. Luminous violet bolts were launched towards the creature, but only one hit their mark. One bounced harmless off the favourably angled armour plating. Yet another crushed by a guarding limb. The third struck true as the bolt disappeared underneath the multitudes of fluctuating plating. A black fluid less viscous than the content spilling from its eviscerated eye demonstrated the spell’s effectiveness. The monster’s state of duress seemed to quicken the rate at which the defenses oscillated- granting yet another true strike from the ranged weapon. Another spray of black blood painting the ground together with a low, reverberating growl. The beast raised both its claws, angled in opposite directions; remaining still for but a moment in an almost eerie silence save for the pitter patter of onyx ichor.
Its beak shattered the silence with a solitary clack to mark its beginning of its relentless assault. It had forsaken its defenses as it chose to clear its surroundings first and grant itself some breathing room. The abomination spun, slamming downwards in a blind spiraling strike.
tl;dr -Monstrosity has taken damage and moved three steps back away from the party. -Monstrosity strikes at Mundo (Slow and Blind) -It retreats two more steps. -It executes an Aoe spin (Two ticks of damage in a circular area around the monster (2 meter radius) per spin) [Two clockwise spins from claw, each strike a little closer to the ground.] {If you remain in range that’s four hits total, although I would say that you would probably be flung backwards if hit}
New Information Acquired: - Going off the duck thing, its potential weak point of genitals are hidden beneath armor plating. - It does not like being shot in the eye - Armor plating is seemingly resistant to attacks - Arm blades are immune to attacks - Attacks that strike areas without plating seem to be effective.
Current Information: - Its claws are made of goddamn dwarven mithril or something oh my god. Also it’s really strong. Like Armstrong from Full Metal Alchemist but with less six pack and more duckface. - It’s a goddamn duck or some shit
