Teo looks down with teeth gritted, eyes barely open as the sniffles and tears continue to surface. His whole body is shaking and he tries to curl up again, pulling up his knees. When he speaks his voice is barely audible, choked from his nervous crying. "I-I'm sorry, m-master..."
"No, no. I'm sorry. I shouldn't put too much pressure on you," he revise.
Yoshi puts Teo in sitting position, holding his hands guiltily while recounting how he wrongly snapped at him. "I... well..." Words couldn't express on how sorry he is. "Do you want anything Teo?"
The young yordle blinks a few times, his shivers slowly subsiding. For a while he sits there in silence, letting his worries lighten up, staring blankly at Yoshi. In his head he's unsure of what to think. The prospect of 'wanting' something is somewhat foreign to him, mostly because everything he'd wanted previously was always out of reach. Without a word, this time, he decides on something to satiate the other's question while bringing him some personal comfort. Carefully, yet somewhat quickly, Teo leans forward and wraps his little arms around the older yordle's torso, his small tears slightly dampening Yoshi's shirt, his sniffles drowned out a little by the fabric.
Yoshi stares- no, couldn't react to what came next. Teo buries his face on Yoshi's vest, seeking personal comfort within himself and within Yoshi. He's only a musician to Teo, yet Teo treats him as if the two are related. The young yordle is shaken, Yoshi can do nothing but hold onto his arms.
Why is Teo that quick to embrace him? A young yordle born in some isolated wilderness with no memory of his parents, Yoshi can understand that. But he needs to connect with him. Even reminding himself several times, if tempering the hidden musical talent meant being his fire that warms him then so be it. He gives a soft rub on the head as an affection but no facial signs of comfort shows. All he could think about is forging a shaken being like him.
