A break was needed for the Inventor; putting all of his energy into the secret core Piltover commissioned him to create with the Defender and the Gem Knight put much stress on his mind. Not even a brilliant inventor as he could tolerate it, and so after a week and extra long journey he found himself on a temporary break in the beautiful lands of Ionia, a City-state he had long heard of but had never visited before.
Until now.
It was funny in an outside context though: The Inventor's main goal for this trip would be for him to try to finally put to rest an old problem he had thought of long ago: 'Are there patterns in nature that can be utilized in science?' Any normal person would think going on a vacation was anything but spending time on attempting to solve a meta-physical question, but to the Inventor is was a mental break he could enjoy with the different yet relaxing atmosphere that allowed him to finally the long-awaited question.
Finding himself walking along the main path to the Placidium from the docks, he intended to finally have a look around the capital, and perhaps see if it truly lived up to the beauty of it all touted in the various geographical books he had read. Naturally, he was more than ready to defend himself, bringing all of the equipment he was famous for employing on the Fields of Justice, but he was not expecting a confrontation this day.
It was time for him to reconcile the basis of nature with the laws of science he had all but grown to live in.
