While Diana was within Zaun due to her recruitment, she had thought about and wondered just where she would go next in order to scour the world for more members to join her cause. She had thought long and hard, and chose to make the trip to Demacia. It has been several months following the apparent Shadow Isles Invasion, and perhaps the city would welcome some religion into its giant...yet still somewhat ruined city. She had heard other stories of what had gone on during the invasion, along with their loss of the king, Jarvan III, so it seemed like an ample opportunity to take up, while it was still there.
"We are to do the same as we did in Zaun, but this time...no aggravating those who can very well kill you." Diana said, in a rather commander-like tone, rather than as the typical 'Zealot' that others call her out upon. "Much has to be done, and we cannot afford mistakes! Scour the area for those willing to accept the Moon, and stay out of trouble!" Diana said as a reminder, since she was walking with a new group of recruits from Zaun, along with possible others...as Caerys remained in Zaun to continue communications with Magnus.
The visit to Demacia would too, last for what seemed to be a few weeks, or longer depending on how recruitment and otherwise how much her presence is received. She made it a possible thought to find a few champions that could be persuaded to her orders side, to gain favor within the richer communities. For now, she would work her way from countryside, to the cities outer slums, to the inner city/middle-classed area's, then to the aristocrats and above.

Followers of the moon, whether gathered together or on their own through out the city, were an oddity. Sure, the city markets had their fair share of outsiders. There were foreign traders with bags and crates, countrymen farmers hauling carts of food or wares, and the rarer polished carriages of the nobility gliding above the crowds to and from the small shops and craft-works of the city.
So it was that most in those streets were too busy with their daily lives to notice the strange attire of Diana's followers. Those who did notice were the city guard, tasked with monitoring the movements of all diplomats and persons of interest in the city. On the list of individuals to watch along with every league champion, was Diana. They simply watched, communicating across the watch posts about the movements of their group.

It has been several weeks since Diana and her small assortment of Lunari acolytes had ventured to Demacia, and it seemed to not be going as well as she thought it would go, given the cities previous status. Though she started from the outer edges in the countryside, those people seemed rather content with their lives, and perhaps only a few wished to convert. So, Diana wished to continue her small crusade by remaining for perhaps another half a month, as her group moved closer towards the city itself, now on the outer edges of main city.
"We all have tried hard, but the light of the Moon cannot be shunned away, even from this massive city, so go rest, I will continue the search. Teach those who wish to learn right now back at the lodging. Diana said softly, yet commanding as always, dismissing her group of acolytes that walked with her to return to the lodgings she's paid for a mile or two away from their current location.
It was midday, though growing late into the afternoon by the common populace's actions and as always Diana picked up on guards constantly watching their groups movement. As they moved, preached and brought others into the fold over the past several weeks, the guards always held a vigil stance, and unmoving. Diana however, felt something was off, and so it was the true reasoning behind sending the others away for now. She had not encountered any of the famous Demacian champions either, so this added more to her own thought behind sending the others back.
""I'm always used to being alone, and I don't want no fools interrupting or causing trouble...however zealous they become themselves. Diana thought, as she walked up the road, making sure her followers went back, let alone gazing for other hopefuls to talk and convince to join her cause.

"Halt!" In the evening dusk, the firelight of a nearby streetlamp reflected off the polished armor of several guards. They walked down the street towards Diana, stepping together as a unit of three. The first wore a blue sash around his neck, similar to the one worn by Garen. Unlike Garen, his long black hair was gathered behind his head, and he spoke with an accent that would have marked him as a Demacian the world over. His face was thin, eyes set beneath a deep brow, the hard eyes of a veteran.
"Champion Deanna. Ze Royal Prince requiairs your presence. Will you not accompany uz to ze Palace?"

The night was growing closer, and Diana's walking through the city seemed to entice a much more curious gaze from its people. As she continued to move forward towards the inner city, or at least so she thought, her gaze followed down the road, side to side, eyeing the small shops and otherwise groups of civilians who hobbled, skipped, ran and otherwise moved normally within her path as she grew closer. Demacia was huge, even within the outer limits and otherwise rural area's of the massive city. She continued on until she heard a rather loud, "Halt", stopping her pace to turn towards the group of three moving towards her from the opposing street lamp's light glare.
"So the prince finally sends his guards to greet me? Perhaps this will be a welcome experience, rather than the one I've had for the past month." She thought, as they came to a halt before her. She recognized the familiar scarf of the Dauntless Vanguard, one that the champion Garen wore upon the fields whilst it was still active, and she gauged the other two before she folded her arms.
"I suppose there is no harm in receiving a royal audience? Why... certainly, do lead the way then, Gentlemen." Diana simply replied brow raised, in her normal, cold tone, though not hostile in the slightest.

Severin did not bow or say a word of acceptance. He stood silently as the other guards gestured for her to follow. A carriage was waiting, driven by an older gentleman whose white hair was neatly combed back. "Champion Dianna I presume, a pleasure to take you to the palace." He dropped his head to his chest in greeting, holding open the carriage door as the guards mounted their horses. It was not a long ride to the city's center, the Royal Palace, but to walk would have been foolish.
The carriage bobbed gently over the odd cobblestone, taking a curving road that climbed to higher ground, and then a steep and well guarded bridge toward the palace complex. Through her carriage window, Dianna could watch the city pass beside her, and the watchful escort keeping pace with the carriage. The structure was massive, and viewed in the dark it shown with light through a thousand windows. Equally impressive was the thickness of its walls, the enormous gate doors kept wide open.
There was a grand plaza where many carriages and people were about their business, but her transport turned to the left. It took a road that wound through several smaller gated archways until in came to rest in a stone floored courtyard where rows of small trees grew in orderly shapes out of large granite basins, the moonlight casting their shadows long and thin.
The carriage came to a stop and the door was opened for her. Across the way from the carriage steps, a open door spilled light out into the stone floored grove. It was there that the Demacian with the blue scarf dismounted, waiting.

Diana found herself being lead about, and soon came upon the carriage that would have surely brought her to the palace. She would give a light nod to the older carriage driver, grasping a-hold of the handle and stepping inside, watching curiously as the guards mounted and soon their trip began. It first began with a light yawn escaping the Lunar warriors mouth, as she had not taken a seat for nearly the entire day, so the carriage was indeed welcomed much more than the guards and driver would've expected, had they known what the woman had done for most of the day.
"I knew Demacia was huge, but by the Moon...I'm glad this trip is made by carriage, or else my tolerance for Jarvan could easily have waned due to exhaustion..." Diana thought, as the carriage shook as it moved atop the cobblestone that lined the roads of Demacia, as she gazed out the window and watched the city fly by, still very much on guard, however, as her blade was still clutched even as she sat alone, with only her escorts and the driver running the carriage around herself.
As they ascended and soon reached the heavily guarded gate, Diana's eyes tracked onto the massive structure that's shadow weighed heavily and soon overtook the Carriage, if not only for a moment as they arrived into the grand plaza. She continued to watch the common-folk, as her thoughts trailed until they soon left the hustle and bustle of the plaza, and came into the quiet courtyard and to an abrupt stop.
"Thank you for the Ride, the Moon's blessing is in your favor tonight. Diana said to the driver, giving a nod to Severin to continue their journey to where Jarvan was either waiting, or going to arrive to shortly afterwards.
Diana would continue to keep her watch, eyeing her surroundings as their walk through the garden began, taking note that even within this massive city, a garden like this was an ideal resting spot for perhaps many people, including the royalty itself if they wished to relax without worry.

Her steps made a different sound than the hooves of the horses or the grinding noise of wagon wheels. It echoed out in the courtyard, between the trees that shaded moonlight off the path in front of her. The open door beckoned as did the man holding it, an abrupt gesture with his open hand. The evening sky crept onward, and as she approached her eyes would grow accustomed to the bright light of arcane lamps. There was a table inside, through a tiny antechamber whose door stood open as well. It was the rough wood of a guards table covered in a fine red cloth. At it sat a figure whose height alone would have made him seem out of place, if it were not for the golden armor and circlet that he wore. The Prince said nothing, waiting for her to approach.
